Baudehk and Kilkell!
//click for better image quality//
Tumblr media
So I found out what ruinachs and havocrels were and couldn’t resist. Say what you will about ESO, but they gave some very solid daedric expansion that I am always happy to read about.
So, meet Baudehk and Kilkell! Baudehk is a ruinach, the self-disgraced ex-soldier of one of the Deadlands’ most famous clans — he steals a sigil stone for Ego and Ancano during Winterhold. Kilkell is a havocrel, the wandering Prince-pleaser who is rumored to have fulfilled a contract under every Daedric Prince — she meets Ego in the Myriad during Hearts Day!
For Ego’s Mara agent initiation, they have to introduce people to love, and they do so by pairing these two together :] They help each other find their new purpose in life.

tonight is just my night to draw horny shit I guess. with a havocrel this time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Don’t even call yourself a daedra fucker if you wouldn’t do this for a havocrel. Sometimes being a sassy little Sanguinite can get you out of physical altercations… at a price, of course. Dori’s pretty fond of paying it in full and even leaving a tip sometimes though ;3c
(And Mr. Havocrel is all high and mighty about it until he finds out they’re just about the softest thing in all of Oblivion and loses it, just a tiny bit)

Xochitl
Alias: Hates-White-Rats
She/Her Argonian 16 (Planemeld Arc), 23 (Current)
Citizenship: Ebonheart Pact Titles: The Vestige, Saviour of Nirn, Daedric Lord Slayer, Enemy of Coldharbour, Havocrel Hunter, Witch, Scoundrel, Locksmith, Master Angler, Master Thief, Numinous Shadow, King's Arrow
Class: Nightblade Weapon Skills: Bow, Dual Wield Armor Skills: Medium World Skills: Legerdemain Guild Skills: Thieves Guild Crafting Skills: Alchemy, Woodworking
A Saxhleel of the Black-Tongue tribe of Murkmire. Short-tempered and spiteful, she was quite unlike others of her kind in the region, let alone the often dark and brooding members of her tribe.
Though she was raised in a loving home with kindhearted parents, they were Nisswo, and thus didn't stay in one place for long. It often meant they would leave Black Marsh's borders, and she would experience first-hand how unkind the outside world is to her kind.
Originally meant to be raised a Shadowscale, her premature hatching guaranteed she'd be passed over for healthier candidates. Even still, her parents saw to teaching her the ways of stealth and esoteric conflict-magic. Though her temperament would be at odds with such a skill set, they could tell that sooner or later she would need it.
When she came of age, she set out on her own as her parents finally settled down in Gideon. Though she traveled alongside her foster brother--a Nord boy left an orphan by the Alliance war--he quickly found an opportunity in a land she knew she wouldn't be welcomed in. The moment they parted ways, she began to use the skills her parents taught her in less than savory ways.
Even though she saw great success at first, one night she ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time, and before she knew it she was sacrificed and ended up a Soul Shriven prisoner in Coldharbour.
In what she believed to be a stroke of incredible luck, she found herself in a jailbreak almost immediately after arriving. Soon she was wrapped up in a situation she didn't much care for, with individuals that were strange at best and irritating at worst.
Still, she was saved from eternal damnation in one of the worst possible places to be in, and she was granted resurrective immortality to boot. She could stand to deal with an overbearing white-skin and a ditzy furbag, but what she wasn't pleased with was having to get involved with an alliance that she vehemently opposed.
With the only downside being horrible pain, she began to take more risks and brazenly dealt with perceived injustices in the cruelest way possible, all while ignoring the path she was set on to reclaim her soul and stop the Planemeld.
It didn't take long for the reality of her situation to finally hit her, as did the consequences of her hasty decisions.

Time passed, and with age came maturity. Though she made many mistakes which ultimately harmed the people she was fighting for, she didn't go through it alone. The bond she shared with her companions remained strong in times strife and peace. Her bitterness remained, but knowing she had support helped her focus her efforts on real change.
Sadly, she had to acknowledge that, as great a force of Needed Change that she was, there were many factors beyond her control that kept her from making the changes she wanted to see. When the time came that her world and the worlds of her two counterparts would finally become one, she accepted the role of the Hero not for the sake of nations and crowns, but for life on all of Nirn.
When those in positions of power regularly betrayed or disappointed her, she saw no reason to play a part in their petty squabbles on the off chance it may help those at the bottom who were suffering. As her trusted friends took on these burdens, she secretly contemplated the teachings of her homeland, finding truth in them after all.

Hooo boy so this one took a LONG time to get out there. So long that it at least gave me time to make some changes on the main art (though I still kind of think the sepals on the hydrangeas are too bright green but idk)

Planemeld Arc Armor
So I didn't really go into the reasoning behind the decisions for some of my "main" Heroes in these games even though my Dragonborn has A Lot, but tbh I already struggle with picking what info to drop and what to keep vague/trim down/etc.
All I'll say is that Hates was originally going to be a Magical Girl inspired character (hence her name that got me several...interesting comments in-game lmao). Suffice to say that this character has a lot of my own baggage attached to her, even more so that every other character I've made, which helps that the theme for my 3 ESO characters is "identity"
Anyways, I've Talked on this too long so here take it

Drew a lineup of my Havocrel OCs from Blackwood, because they might as well be my favourite type of Daedra along with the Xivkyn. From left to right we have Iron Maiden and Morning Star, who have Daedric names but prefer to be called by their mortal given names, and Zeltarus along with his little bard girl companion (me and @divaythfyr write) and his goat for scale.

My Vampire Bloodline
This was my entry for a challenge over on Skyrim Amino. Sadly I didn't win but I got a special price for my effort. This is 100% just me having fun and bending/breaking the lore to my will.
"Sanguis Incenditur" or "The Dagonic Vampire"
Excerpt from "Malus Vampyris" by Julius Cato, associate researcher at the Arcane University
Tumblr media
A vampire of the Sanguis Incenditur bloodline wearing a facial shroud inspired by the Havocrel, a blind race of Daedra
((CW: Pain, Rituals & Cults))
Among the many strains of vampirism, there is none more accursed than this unholy affliction Mehrunes Dagon bestows upon his vampiric followers.
As you have learned in the previous chapters, although vampirism is commonly associated with Molag Bal, there exist numerous strains affiliated with other Daedric princes, such as Clavicus Vile or Mephala. However, few scholars are aware that even Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of destruction, revolution, change energy and ambition, the malicious architect of the Oblivion Crisis which ravaged our beloved home a mere century ago also created his very own strain of vampirism.
Sanguis Incenditur first appeared in the second era, coinciding with the emergence of the Order of the Waking Flame. Although the exact origins of this vampiric strain were unknown at the time, scholars believed it to be an effort by the cult to bolster Dagon's forces. After the vestige stopped the plot involving the four ambitions, Sanguis Incenditur vanished from Tamriel until it mysteriously reappeared around 3E 433. Only once the Oblivion Crisis had reached its zenith did brave heroes infiltrating the Mythic Dawn cult discover its origins: A ritual most foul turning an already cursed soul into an abomination beyond comprehension.
Well, dear reader, although I have just called it a strain of vampirism, that classification is technically incorrect as Sanguis Incenditur is the modification of already present vampirism:
It is a curse that has to be bestowed on a subject already carrying Molag Bal's curse within them. The exact ritual is unknown to me--I must admit--for all material relating to it was destroyed in the wake of the Oblivion Crisis or carefully hidden by scattered Dagon cultists. However, I have been able to discover the following:
1. The ritual must be performed on Dagon's summoning day
2. The ritual requires a sigil stone and the heart of a Daedra
3. The subject must already carry a strain of vampirism
4. The subject must be burned alive
Once these conditions have been met, the subject arises anew as Dagon's eternal servant. Due to the steps of the ritual being complicated, to say the least, it must be noted that very few vampires of this strain exist—which is for the better.
Once arisen from the ashes, a vampire afflicted with Sanguis Incenditur is in excruciating pain. Their body temperature far exceeds that of any man or mer—even feverish ones. Indeed, they become so hot that their skin begins to dry out and crack. Some are said to exhale smoke while others hide their eyes behind blindfolds, for the heat damaged or even melted them. Such a vampire is driven by an insatiable need to extinguish the fire within them, yet water cannot assuage this need; like their cold cousins, the only thing that can quench the thirst of a Dagonic vampire—if only for a short while—is the blood of mortals. Known to completely desiccate the average human body within minutes, the Dagonic vampire is a creature out of anyone's worst nightmares.
As if that were not bad enough, Dagonic vampires possess an excellent command of pyromancy, and some are even said to breathe fire. Additionally, they are capable of conjuring fire atronachs, and salamanders heed their call. Dagonic vampires can temporarily turn into smoke to move at frightening speeds, and their skin is hard as rock, making it difficult to puncture—though their often hollow eyes are a notable weak spot.

A dagonic vampire summoning a salamander
But there is a silver lining
Few Dagonic vampires are of clear mind. The immense pain blinds them to anything but the urge to stop it, including such things as tactical planning or traps. Likewise, they are unlikely to resort to their strong magical abilities outside moments of clarity, so a challenger is more likely to be faced with the raw frenzy of these fire-spewing monstrosities than a horde of summoned atronachs. As such, contrary to vampires spawned by Molag Bal, Dagonic vampires should best be fought in times of hunger.
Killing one such afflicted creature is difficult, and the credibility of first-hand accounts is dubious at best. Gerard de Chanfer, a notable vampire hunter from Shornhelm, High Rock, suggests the following method:
"To effectively kill a vampire of the Sanguis Incenditur strain, one must be highly capable of frost magic. Dowsing it in ice will slow the creature down, and a good ice spike to the eye will suffice to paralyse it entirely. Once paralysed, the vampire must be secured and submerged in water for 30 days and nights. Over this period, the creature's body will slowly crumble until all that remains is the sigil stone and ashen sludge, which, upon removing and destroying the stone, can be safely buried in a consecrated graveyard."
This method, of course, comes with some logistical problems, for during the 30 days, the vampire may reawaken and fight back at any time. Therefore, Mel Adrys, an experienced vampire hunter of unknown origin, suggests the following alternative:
"Dagonic vampires, vampires of the Sanguis Incenditur strain, are notoriously hard to kill; they are much more Daedra than they are undead. However, this also opens a new possibility for dealing with them. Like actual Daedra, Dagonic vampires are susceptible to spells used for banishing Daedra. A strong restoration mage would have no trouble removing them from Mundus, which, considering the dangers brought on by the other option, seems the wiser choice to me."
Reading about those terrifying fates, one must wonder if the ritual can be reversed. Is there perhaps a way to save a loved one who was turned into one such abomination?
The sad answer is no.
Tumblr media
A Dagonic vampire during a rare moment of clarity, praying for his pain to end.
By 4E 201, the Sanguis Incenditur bloodline has largely been forgotten; its rituals lost to the ages, its progenitors dead or in hiding. Still, there is no guarantee that these terrifying spawns of Dagon are truly gone forever.

OOC Notes:
- "Sanguis Incenditur" is latin and translates to "(the) blood is set on fire"
- The shroud is the mask obtained from defeating the Havocrel "Baron Zaudrus" in ESO
- The skin is the reanimated vampiric thrall skin
- Mel Adrys is a vampire hunter who appears in some quests in ESO - Gerard de Chanfer doesn't exist but his name is a really obscure easter egg

[ID: Did you know: The Havocrell have been inflicted with a curse that blinds them? Because of this curse, some Havocrel choose to cover their eyes.]
How come it’s always a curse that leaves people blind in tes? These guys, the Falmer, the moth priests. I can think of one single character whose blind or partly blind just because it’s a normal thing, in the whole franchise.
