Though to not completely spoil the plot for everyone, I redacted some parts on the list. Just know that, while I DO have plans, they could always change and not everything is complete. I won't always stick to such style, but there WILL be consistent world building as it's my favorite part of starting any AU! Day 2: Best Friends / Favorite Side Character

Honestly was pretty hard deciding on a favorite side character, I really like Dina and the flower girls, but figured as one of the few people who draws the Sunnysides I wanted to give them some love! I adore their designs.

kind of evil that there is an option to say "you used me." after vivienne's personal quest when you find out getting the heart for bastien was just as much a political move as it was a personal one but no option to be like. um. wow, vivienne. it sure is fucked up that after the death of your long-time lover you have to use that death for your political advantage with his SON and SISTER rather than mourn him with them and take time to grieve because without your connection to him you're at risk. and the other options aren't even much better: "at least it worked out for you." being the best out of the three while the other choice is "you always get what you want, no matter who you have to step over." like who exactly is she stepping over in this scenario??

not enough TimJay content takes advantage of the fact that the Red Robin mantle and suit were Jason's first, and Tim effectively stole Jason's shit that Jason wanted to throw away. Tim took Jason's name, his suit, to go on a one-man crusade when he's at odds with the Batfamily. You're telling me Jason wouldn't be weirdly offended but also weirdly turned on by that?

And yes, Tim only knows about the Red Robin suit's existence because Ulysses Armstrong stole it for a hot second, but the fact he stole the suit from Ulysses and fucking kept it? Even before he had any reason to? Like before becoming Red Robin, Tim just kept a suit he knew belonged to Jason despite openly disliking Jason for. Reasons. And later on, it's explicitly confirmed Tim's wearing it because it's Jason's legacy? That's the most toxic gay shit I've ever seen.

Tim's punishing himself with Jason's image. Jason, who has been constantly trying to get Tim to see things his way and work with him would lose his mind over that. There's such a potential for a toxic possessiveness to it all, Tim branding himself with Jason's suit and name. The assumptions Jason would make about Tim because of it. The way Jason could hold that over Tim's head, that they really are one and the same, and deep down, Tim must know it to some degree, if he became Red Robin when he felt replaced as Robin. I truly do not think Jason would ever shut up about it. As a fan of 'possessive/weirdly obsessed with Tim' Jason, I think this would take Jason's weird feelings about Tim to the next level. And if Tim will punish himself just by wearing Jason's legacy, imagine how much more he'd punish himself for falling for Jason too. Weird freaky little masochist who tortures himself through Jason seems exactly Jason's type, tbh. I'm feral about it.

having been in the fandom for awhile, one interesting shift I remember seeing was around when BoO came out and people realized solangelo was implied to be a future thing, people were kind of scrambling to remember literally anything about Will cause of how minor of a character he had been up until that point.

And one of the things they were looking at with Will was that previously to BoO, people thought Will was a lot older. Because he was a cabin counselor (and generally how he was usually interacting with characters like Percy, Annabeth, and Clarisse - all 16+ish, or Leo - 15/16), most people assumed he was closer to 16 at least, if not actually older than Percy. It wasn't uncommon to see HoO!Will being 17 or so (this is also why there's a decent amount of hcs of him being at CHB pre-BoTL despite not existing until TLO). After BoO happened, it wasn't uncommon to see Solangelo content with a significantly older Will.

Like, it has always been implied in the series that Will is on the younger side (since Michael Yew joined CHB in SoM and Will is younger than him/would have joined BoTL at the earliest) and it's just the entire Apollo cabin keeling over in TLO that made Will counselor. But I just think it's interesting to remember that for awhile Will was not confirmed to be 13 in HoO/14 in TOA when solangelo first became a thing/people started paying attention to Will, and the fandom very widely thought he was older.

hi everyone, i rlly didn’t think something like this needed to be said, but its not something i can look past anymore seeing as it’s happened a concerning amount of times in the past half of a year.

i really have to put my foot down and say i have zero tolerance for plagiarism. i put my heart & soul into building my worlds, my readers, and any backstories so it’s very discouraging when people come into my comments & askbox saying “omggg what a coincidence! i actually built the same reader as you! like same title, same job, same relationships, blablabla.” the odds of that are extremely low and i cannot pretend like it’s a coincidence that can happen once let alone multiple times. this isn’t directed specifically at any one person—i am not exaggerating when i say it’s happened a concerning amount of times repeatedly over the months. i take pride in the originality of the worlds i’ve built, and especially the readers i’ve created (many of them are heavily based off of me!). i know many themes in writing will parallel in plenty of fics and that’s a separate concept, but i don’t take kindly to people coming to me and pretending that plagiarizing the details that make my writing unique are some big coincidences. i’m not stupid and i really need to kindly ask that it stops because writing is a hobby i’m deeply passionate about and i don’t want it to become something i am discouraged to share.
