Neoliberalism, featuring Reaganomics, destroyed the middle class. From now on, we only have the Have-Nots and Have-A-Lots. Mending and improving the system is unlikely to happen, so we're in fact stuck with an ever-increasing Inequality (and Inequity), even being accelerated by the present transition towards Sustainability.

'Dark Energy' is winning, and all the Matter flows to the biggest, densest Black holes (i.e. the Have A Lots!!!) ... and finally ... as the lights will go out ... one-by-one!
