Hello all,

Commissions are open once again because I am in a jam. I keep getting job rejections, I’ve sold a lot of things but it never seems to be enough. So I really need some extra help. I don’t like asking for help but it’s currently my only option. I need to open commissions to pay for some debts coming up.

You know when you’ve been with someone or been friends with someone and your main connection has been a tv show or a game and then that person has hurt you in some way? That’s what I’m like with Arrow and any of the DCTV shows. Before my ex and I broke up I was watching Superman and Lois and still writing Felicity. If anyone knows me they know I love Felicity...and I still do. But everything with my ex has turned me away from Arrowverse. It makes me sick to even think about it. 

It’s upsetting because Arrow got me through a hard place. 

I watched Grey’s when I was with him but whenever I talked about it he got a bored look on his face, but expected me to be interested in his video games. So when he and I broke up, I dove into Grey’s and the characters, especially Callie was a safe haven for me. That’s why I am all about Callie. She and Sara have helped me come to terms with my sexuality again, they’ve taught me to be a strong woman and not let anyone knock me down. 

So I guess this is me hanging up my mask...closing down the foundry. I will no longer be writing any arrowverse stuff. I’m sorry if this has hurt some people, but I have to put myself first for once.

          i still don’t have a tag for it yet, but dylan has a non-dctv verse. while, in essence, it’s practically the same plot and stuff, there’s a few things that change. for one, she’s not an enhanced human/metahuman. her parents are still horrific people who kept their child captive for most of her life but she still escaped during a house fire and spent the next couple of years moving around until she met a group of people who took her in, helped her adapt to life on the outside, and move on with her life. it’s through these people that she was able to start volunteering at shelters and public events, and this led to her current moment in time: running a shelter for disadvantaged youths called haven’s point.

          of course, she doesn’t quite have the qualifications and/or experience to lead such an operation on her own so she has help. the place was left to her by the previous owner, someone who among the small group of people that helped shape dylan’s new life. however, it’s not all smooth sailing. dylan, while was left a small fortune by this person {{ all of which she puts into haven, keeping none for herself }} it still leaves her and the place in financial difficulty. this means she often relies on friends, sponsorships and bank loans to run the place. because of this, and as it is in her dctv main verse, dylan is in a lot of debt. 

          still, she doesn’t let it hold her back when it comes to decisions or directions. whatever is best for the kids that come through those doors happens. she doesn’t care about the consequences for herself as long as they’re looked after. it’s the least she can do considering the way she was brought up. she doesn’t want the pain of what she went through to be on someone else’s shoulders, so she does what she must to make sure that these kids have options and the knowledge that someone out there cares for them.

in a world where it took Supe rgirl three seasons to write in a proper scene about Hank Henshaw addressing the fact that he's black

in a world where The Fla sh had a white male character randomly but totally invalidate a black female and faced zero repercussions

in a world where Arr ow just messes everything up across the board

in a world where the most ridiculous and silly CW DCTV show had to become the dumping ground for POC characters as a safe haven where they wouldn't be cast aside, sidelined, and ignored (Legends of Tomorrow)

We got Black Lightning, a show that is so, so unapologetically FOR the minority, namely the black and LGBTQA communities.

Every episode has at least a few scenes dealing with social prejudices, inequality, all while using its platform to build up marginalized groups so cruelly and often subtly torn down until it becomes internalized.

I honestly hope the other CW DCTV shows don't come anywhere near it because I don't want this amazing show to ever be tainted by their nonsense.  It's too important to let it concede a single facet of itself

My name is Connor T. Davenport, and I’ve been a writer for DCTV News and its affiliated websites such as Young Justice TV for over a year now.

After some time to think about it, I've finally decided to create a blog here on Tumblr similar to my associates who also write for DCTV News!

The ClockworkFirefly Chronicles will be a safe haven for not only Young Justice fans like myself, but also for Askthose who enjoy other fandoms like Doctor Who, Marvel, Back to the Future, and plenty more!

Rosy, I am in hell. All 4 of my shows are on hiatus. I barely have any content. Release me from this nightmare

Baby, I can’t. I mean, I got my DCtv stuff back, but frankly I’m not as thrilled with it as I was before. Supergirl is flat. I’m tired of the whole drama with conflict in Team Arrow. Flash is okay but jail is making me roll my eyes and I’m still waiting for Barry Allen to go back and fix our fucked up timeline. I mean first we lost Baby Sara and now we have Prez Rump. Fix it barry.

I’ve been reading more, trying to get back to reading novels (it really freaks me out that I can’t focus on reading novels anymore) and bingewatching The 100 and Haven. I should catch up on all the netflix shows I’ve missed or haven’t finished like Sense8 or Stranger Things or Westworld. Oh that’s HBO. I think I dvrd it. 

I’ve also been writing more and working on my personal work. I mean, I’ve finished two novels since we went on break. One first draft and one final. And as soon as I finish my last chapter on Into Eden, I will have finished my third novel, this time Bellarke. Actually that whole novel will have been written in hiatus. It’s shorter. I only did half the novel of the first one and A serious revision of the final draft one. DAMN that’s a lot of writing. HOly COW, see what hiatus does to us?  

You gotta fill your time with new stuff. If you lost your show hobby, pick up a new one. Hobby or shows.

see this is the kind of bullshit we're not going to do, anon.here is what we all need to remember when it comes to this situation: we know what we have read. they know what they have lived. there's a difference. it was a toxic work environment, i think that goes without saying. kreisberg is a monster. other executives (such as guggenheim) were complicit. that also goes without saying. we have no idea what the cast members and other staffers may or may not have gone through. they're under no obligation to say anything if they're not ready.
