the only teams that are proper scrapping where both drivers absolutely hate each other are alpine n rb n charles v ferrari

anyways so yesterday in the sprint ocon and alonso had a little tangle (not saying who was at fault or who wasn’t cos i didn’t see the sprint) n alonso lashed out on team radio n then when was like oh finally one race to go n it got worse during the race bc ocon didn’t want to let alonso go past w team orders, he wanted to fight for the position (which as a racing driver he should be doing) n it’s fair to say things are a little spicy at alpine. oh and alonso’s fans have been extremely toxic that alpine had to put out a statement about it, just proof that alonso and his cult fans should all just fuck off into thin air

anyways onto red bull, now here is where things get interesting. so obviously checo is fighting for p2 w charles and it’s very close between them and max somehow ended up ahead of checo in the race but if i’m right, checo was like 5s behind max n the team told him to let checo through n max said no and then checo got a bit angry n it seems like the two are genuinely fighting oh n then checo said in the media pen that he crashed on purpose in monaco quali so there’s that. n also in the sprint yesterday checo asked to be let through bc he needs every single point over charles for p2 and then max refused and after the sprint checo unfollowed max on instagram

so onto charles v ferrari, as usual charles got absolutely fucked over by ferrari both in conventional quali and the race itself. in quali they put him on inters when everyone else was on slicks n completely fucked up his running in q3 which caused charles to finally enter his bastard era n he was absolutely fuming after quali. in the race he was running at the back after an incident w lando but somehow managed to climb his way back into the top 5 and then was on the radio asking for him n carlos to be swapped bc again charles needs every single point over checo for p2 in the championship. anyways ferrari refused and i genuinely can see charles committing crimes against ferrari very soon n ofc i fully endorse said crimes bc it’s acc ridiculous how many times charles has had a race ruined due to ferrari being ferrari

one other minor thing was aston martin. during the sprint lance n seb had a little tangle n seb wasn’t too happy but that’s actually not important bc seb ended up ahead of lance in the sprint n yeh. but in the race itself seb was running as high as p3 until aston martin decided to take a leaf out of ferrari’s book n do some shit strategies. they absolutely ruined seb’s race n cost him some good points and told him to give up his position of p10 to lance even tho lance said seb can stay in p10 for longer n yeh

oh also after magnussen n ricciardo had an incident at the start of the race, magnussen somehow got lost even tho he was literally right with ricciardo but he has now been found but yeh that happened

do you think mick will ever find his way to ferrari?

i know (or at least i pretend) that mick will come back to f1 but do you think there’s a way for him to join ferrari down the line? or will he go the merc or audi route?

part of me is very much mick going to ferrari will happen, it’s his birth right he quite literally bleeds ferrari it would be very full circle shit and basically the plot of the lion king and schuclerc as teammates is something we should have

but then part of me is like well look at who ferrari have had since michael left the team and how many championships they’ve won and even if mick were to join ferrari i don’t see them making the correct decisions to get them back on top anytime soon. like charles should’ve been fighting for the championship for much longer and in a closer battle not it essentially be over before the summer break. n before anyone says oh it’s charles’ fault, imola n france were his only fuck ups (even france is questionable bc broken throttle) so argue w the wall

so i selfishly don’t want mick to go to a team where it isn’t that much better than what he had at haas and unless ferrari genuinely fire binotto along w some others and make proper changes then yeh i want mick to go to ferrari

back to ur question, i think now mick isn’t with haas and the fda n is potentially going to be the merc reserve it’s going to be harder. bc before when he was at haas and w fda n ferrari reserve u could say yeh it might happen but now it looks hard n there are few things that might stop him.

first of all him not having a seat for next year affects his chances of going to ferrari especially if he gets the merc role bc then he will be a merc driver n i doubt merc will want mick to go one of their rivals.

second of all, ollie bearman is very quickly climbing through the ranks and he’s still a member of the fda n i would not be surprised if he is in f1 sooner than we might think bc he’s extremely talented

thirdly like u said w audi, they want a german driver n now seb has retired and hulkenflop has gone to haas, i really think that will go to mick but how much influence ferrari will have over the second seat like that have in the past probs won’t be there so who knows if mick will go to ferrari

tl;dr- i want mick to go to ferrari if they are competent and it’s slightly harder for him to do so because of drivers like bearman and the fact that mick is no longer part of the fda so really has zero ties to ferrari will make it harder
