do you think mick will ever find his way to ferrari?

i know (or at least i pretend) that mick will come back to f1 but do you think there’s a way for him to join ferrari down the line? or will he go the merc or audi route?

part of me is very much mick going to ferrari will happen, it’s his birth right he quite literally bleeds ferrari it would be very full circle shit and basically the plot of the lion king and schuclerc as teammates is something we should have

but then part of me is like well look at who ferrari have had since michael left the team and how many championships they’ve won and even if mick were to join ferrari i don’t see them making the correct decisions to get them back on top anytime soon. like charles should’ve been fighting for the championship for much longer and in a closer battle not it essentially be over before the summer break. n before anyone says oh it’s charles’ fault, imola n france were his only fuck ups (even france is questionable bc broken throttle) so argue w the wall

so i selfishly don’t want mick to go to a team where it isn’t that much better than what he had at haas and unless ferrari genuinely fire binotto along w some others and make proper changes then yeh i want mick to go to ferrari

back to ur question, i think now mick isn’t with haas and the fda n is potentially going to be the merc reserve it’s going to be harder. bc before when he was at haas and w fda n ferrari reserve u could say yeh it might happen but now it looks hard n there are few things that might stop him.

first of all him not having a seat for next year affects his chances of going to ferrari especially if he gets the merc role bc then he will be a merc driver n i doubt merc will want mick to go one of their rivals.

second of all, ollie bearman is very quickly climbing through the ranks and he’s still a member of the fda n i would not be surprised if he is in f1 sooner than we might think bc he’s extremely talented

thirdly like u said w audi, they want a german driver n now seb has retired and hulkenflop has gone to haas, i really think that will go to mick but how much influence ferrari will have over the second seat like that have in the past probs won’t be there so who knows if mick will go to ferrari

tl;dr- i want mick to go to ferrari if they are competent and it’s slightly harder for him to do so because of drivers like bearman and the fact that mick is no longer part of the fda so really has zero ties to ferrari will make it harder
