It's interesting to think about how, to me at least, Dust and Killer are like mirror versions of each other.

One who joins a villain enthusiastically, jumps at the chance to leave his past behind and have a purpose again, and the other who has to be dragged in, would rather rot in the consequences of his own actions.

One who needs orders, needs the distraction and the action and the thrill, can't sit alone with his thoughts for too long lest he hear them clearly, and the other who can't bring himself to ignore the ghost over his shoulder, would rather sit in place and listen to his own self loathing parroted back at him than stand up and find a way to drown it out.

One who doesn't associate with his past anymore, that wasn't me and I wasn't him, and cannot stand the thought of going back from where he came, and the other who wants nothing more than to be his old self again but feels so strongly that he doesn't deserve to return to the life he tore down himself.

They both wear their new names like dog collars, but one is a gift given by someone else because he's theirs, he has somewhere he belongs that he's expected to return to, and the other is a choker tying him to a post, warning others of his danger while never allowing him to get out of arm's reach of his past.

And getting them both back-to-back while trying to understand mortals was probably enough to give Nightmare whiplash

I am so absolutely thrilled that Taeheon appeared confident and happy about coming out to his parents, and that it went well.

Dai and Shun are confirmed, and it sounds like Shun got the loving family he has longed for in Dai’s family. Much love and respect to the family that raised Dai, to Dai, and to Shun.

As for Kazuto and Alan, I am still tickled by their relationship- which is no longer romantic (per word on the street about what was said). They both look super happy, and both apparently acknowledge the friendship they have. I am not dissatisfied with this outcome - one because it is really not my business since it’s not my life. And two, because love takes many forms, and we all have the opportunity to support each other in our growth. A romantic relationship that ends doesn’t mean it wasn’t worthwhile, and sometimes romantic relationships fizzle and good friendships grow. Sometimes we don’t know that a road isn’t the one for us until we travel it for awhile.

I think this show and these men will take up some space in my life. I couldn’t tell you exactly why I feel so invested in them, but I do. I am truly happy to see everyone looking happy overall, and I hope this was a truly positive experience for them. I wish them all the happiness wherever their roads take them.

What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?

In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.

Hi there!! I was wondering if I could cosplay one of your designs, specifically Chel in her huipil. I’m a huge fan of your designs!

Thank you! I’m all for people making cosplays with my designs! My wish is that anyone who does, does so knowing that since many are historically inspired illustrations they may be representing a very specific region and culture. If that’s you, amazing. If it’s not… maybe think a little longer on the why and how, maybe there’s something you want to adjust after you’ve done some research. My only “hard no” is my Tiger Lily illustrations because those are straight regalia and very explicitly not costumes. My other designs generally have some sort of character specific twist to them that leaves more room for interpretation.

Hopefully that all makes sense? I’m not much of a writer I’m afraid, so hopefully my point doesn’t come across weird or condescending. These things might be things you have already taken into consideration and that’s great! I just want to make sure the bases are covered and anyone else who might be looking for the same answer goes away with my blessing and my forewarning. Happy creating!

continuing to rotate margaret houlihan in my head (it will continue), and today's observation is that she NEEDS structure, and becomes a holy terror when she's trying to create it herself. not to always be comparing my faves to dogs (affectionate) but she's an Experienced Handlers Only working dog, and under henry's "let's just all be cool" style of leadership, she gets nervy and starts biting people. she's constantly going over his head because he's not giving orders The Right Way. she can't let it slide when hawkeye and trapper aren't toeing the line, even though it'll only bring her grief. she bullies her staff over minor infractions, and it's not even effective!! because while they're in henry's office crying about her harsh methods, she's also in there complaining that she can't control them.

then potter shows up, and her behavior changes. the second he calls her to attention, her objection to her and frank losing power disappears. she's not chaining nurses to their beds anymore. she appeals to him when she disagrees in deluge, but there's no threat that she'll do an end run around him, which used to be her go-to move. she even relaxes long enough to join in the jeep fun for a minute (even though it's "beneath her" as an officer), and enjoys it! she's not nice, her personality hasn't changed, but it's all bark. she's content to have a solid place in the pecking order and is no longer fueling chaos by frantically trying to control it.

for the hilt, i draw a cylinder and just hope it looks ok lmfao. i have a couple lightsabers so i base it off of that for length n whatnot.

for the blade, i use a glow brush !!! for the llychaa post, i used sketchbook autodesk!! the brush is called "glow neon" and should be a standard, free brush on my bespin duel post, i used procreate! the brush came with the program and is called "lightpen"

(for both of them, i used the ruler tool to make sure they were straight lines bahahahha)

though, i bet if you didnt have a glow brush, you could layer colors from darkest to light, with a line of white going down the middle!

Listen Allard had been in charge of the readers personal guard both in Dragonstone and Kings Landing since she was 4 up until Jon Arryns death. He is absolutely the big brother in that scenario, not the little. He called her Tiny Doe once and literally everyone on Dragonstone called her that for years. He will 100% call her that in front of everyone when they reuinte, specifically to embarrass her.

Before the reader went to Winterfell the first time, the closest thing she had to a friend was Allard because there were no kids around her age and none of the older kids had the patience to play with someone that young. Hes been through a ton of things in her life outside of Winterfell, he absolutely will show up eventually.

Side note to make you sad: He and the readers uncle Lord Alester were in Storms End when they heard of her death, and the two of them had a small funeral by the Baratheon family tomb with only the few belongings Allard had that were gifted by you to him, since according to the rumours, the Freys left no body behind for them to even being home. Theres a grave at Storms End by Renly and Robert's, with your name but only those trinkets of Allards were buried because your remains were said to be unrecoverable.

If Allard thought he was shocked to realize the raven he was sent was written by his father (He, Matthos, and their mother had been hounding Davos to learn to read for like 10 years), the man nearly passed out when his fathers letter told him you were alive.
