Eloise: Colin there is something you should know about Penelope-
Colin, after working through his jealousy: that she's Lady Whistledown? I know, isn't that cool. I'm so proud 🥰🥰🥰

hey hey hey since we’re popping in just for hot takes, here’s another one:
platonic. prongsfoot. isn’t. a. thing.
how many fucking times does this have to be said.
should i start tagging every remus and sirius interaction as platonic wolfstar??? clog up the whole goddamned tag for u????
honestly what is so hard to understand that a ship name denotes…A FUCKING SHIP
and in case it bears repeating: a ship is inherently non-platonic thank u very much. a ‘platonic ship’ is…wait for it…a friendship. there u have it. shocker i know.

looking @ old fic i started when i was 14/15 is so funny bc im realizing once again why i never mark fics as abandoned even if its been literal years since i've touched them. specifically i was checking docs for stuff i started and either did or didn't post to ffn.
and its like. nothing is bad??? like i can see where my outside-the-box ideal of fic writing comes from. not just fics but writing in general, i'm p sure. even if it's a total cliche plot setup, there are details on each that rly make it stand out like oh yeahhhhhh i did have this great idea once upon a time.
funny too bc was it executed well in prose??? no absolutely not i wrote like shit when i was 15. would i revive an idea one day and revise it to be less cliche or cringy while still keeping the stand-out elements??? yea maybe. i might. everything i'm currently working on that i started from 2021 up to now still holds my supreme interest, but like i'm not gonna say never.
esp since i write fic first and foremost for my own need and specifically what i like to read, it makes it impossible to consider an idea i've thought extensively about "not worth writing anymore". anyway not making this too long i jus found everything interesting to consider

Hello all, it is time for:
WIP Wednesday! (Thursday Edition /lh)
Actually got tagged this week so thank you/shoutout to @soup-scope and @echovale052!
On today's docket: Milo/David (Two weeks in a row, I know /t)
Detaching his surname wasn’t an option anymore. There was no more “David”. As far as anyone was concerned, he didn’t exist anymore. Not like he had before that night. He didn’t regret accepting the position of alpha— Stepping into the role had felt appropriate. Not seamless, not natural, but like he was the only answer anyone could come up with. It didn’t change the fact that he’d serve his pack as best he could. He owed it to them to at least try.
But sometimes, he wished he couldn’t feel it— That shift. The one he felt whenever he tried to speak to anyone in the pack. No one acknowledged it aloud because they didn’t have to. His reputation hung in the air, unspoken yet palpable. He was the alpha now, whether he liked it or not. No amount of lamenting would change that. The only thing he could do was learn to live with it. Even if it meant ignoring the ache that came when he saw Asher wince at the title “David’s Beta”. Or pretending like he couldn’t feel Tank gradually pulling away every time he tried to check on them. But at the moment, the hardest thing was swallowing the words that crept into the back of his throat whenever he saw—
“—Milo.”
David’s train of thought halted abruptly, brows furrowed as he looked at his best friend. “What?”
“I said I’m pretty sure I see Milo challenging Miguel to a round of cards— And of course, here comes Christian.” Asher sighed, patting David’s back. “Don’t worry, Big Guy. I’ll handle this one. Keep up the hosting, alright? You’re doing great.” Before he could respond, Asher was already out of the kitchen. Just like that, David was alone.
Am I having a time analyzing David's adjustment to being alpha as it pertains to that first Moonbound Solstice audio? Absolutely, I clearly have many thoughts about the subject (/lh)

still figuring out saoirse's timeline but fldsakjf just had the idea of sometime in the early-to-mid 2010s price was dragged to a press conference where he was forced to speak and saoirse was one of the journalists present and her questions were fucking merciless to the point where they start arguing and someone threatens to call security on her to escort her out and while she never took anything quite out of context, the article she wrote afterwards definitely didn't paint price (or any other brass in attendance) in the most sympathetic light. and as the years go on this same interaction continues to play out
established relationship except that relationship is "you're a fuckin' nuisance. a pain in my arse. why do i keep running into you? please stop asking/dodging these questions."

sports rpf ships have the worst names ever because they are just random strings of numbers. “wow 2022 look really good together today” “i just read a great 163488 fic today” WHO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
