For those that are looking for a more traditional approach to #Bordeaux the Le Meynieu brings it with only 12.5% ABV and is a blend of primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a touch of Cab Franc. Let it breathe either in the decanter or glass and look for notes of black currant, plum, clay, cedar with just a hint of wet hay funk. Este foi o meu vinho favorito na degustação de ontem, de “Bordeaux acessíveis”, realizada pela @ABS_Campinas: o ótimo #ChateauBelAirGloria 2015 — um “Cru Bourgeois” da AOC Haut-Médoc 🇫🇷. 🌎 Propriedade do @DomainesHenriMartin, o Château Bel Air Gloria se localiza em Cussac, na fronteira de Saint-Julien (onde está seu “irmão mais velho”, o Château Gloria), na margem esquerda do rio Gironde — local perfeito para a Cabernet Sauvignon. O vinho é um corte de 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot e 2% Cabernet Franc colhidas manualmente. É vinificado em tanques de aço inox e matura 12 meses em barricas de carvalho (25% delas, novas). 🍷 Na taça tem cor rubi brilhante, de intensidade média+. Os aromas mostram frutas negras (amora e cassis) maduras, um leve herbáceo, pimenta-do-reino e discreta madeira (caixa de charutos). Na boca é seco, tem corpo médio, acidez média+ e taninos intensos (mas finos e macios). Fruta e especiarias, com moderada persistência. 📝 Um belo vinho! Muito novo ainda, mas já bem elegante, tem ótima estrutura para a guarda e deve evoluir muito nos próximos 10 anos. Gostei!! 91+ pontos. .
