OMG! We love this closet! Where do we begin? For us, it was about the matte gold finishes. Brass or gold is back and is so elegant! Finding the perfect accents (I.e. rods, shoe fences, robe hooks, belt racks, and even the swivel mirror) in the matte gold set the tone. 👗 Our client supplied the gorgeous acrylic and gold handles which are perfectly understated on the glass framed doors and drawers. And we worked with the electrician on getting the outlets, recessed lighting, and cabinet lighting. 👠 We are not even sure what is our favorite! Of course we love the drawers on the focal point back wall. The glass framed doors above and the glass shelving behind. The subtle cream wood grain countertop compliments the hardware as well. The countertop and mirrors are the perfect height to get prepped. In addition, the top two drawers have jewelry inserts. And We envision our clients purse collection in the glass display above. 💍 The deeper hanging sections with the glass framed doors are a gorgeous touch. I always feel like items are on a display like a museum. Each of the 4 larger sections have glass shelving above for more display storage. 👡 And I am totally in love with these shoe fences. They add such elegance to this space and the light seems to dance and bounce right off of them. Some closets can be frustrating because of size. Right? This space is long and narrow (under the stairs so angles down) yet next to the kitchen. It would make a great pantry overflow. 🍿🍷 We designed the deeper bulk storage in the back lower shelving. Since the space is narrow, we put narrow shelving as you enter for can goods. Then bumped out the shelving depth as you enter through the doorway. 🍩🍰 With these changes, the space feels bigger, holds a ton of storage, and is more accessible! A lot of small design changes can turn your closet space into your dream closet. This closet has a narrow nook and if it’s hard to access, you may be frustrated accessing it and just stuff items in there and forget. Having hanging and shelving is great, however sometimes it’s just on the wrong wall. Yes ~ it’s something that simple that can make a difference! 👠 👗 Our client first changed the closet door to swing “out” into the bathroom. What a difference! That simple change made it feel more open. Our design now has her hanging on the side walls and shoe shelving on the back wall. That helped to open up the closet even more. 👗👠 Now the hanging clothes aren’t blocking the shelving, making everything more accessible. With these changes (e.g. door swing and design) the closet feels bigger and is more accessible! Many closets we see have the correct placement (in theory- I love that phrase) however the components are lacking certain requirements. Either it didn’t allow enough space for hanging clothes or there wasn’t enough shelving or no adjustability with hanging rods or shelves, etc. 👗 👠 And, having a custom system doesn’t always equate to thousands of dollars. Of course we want to design the Taj Mahal, however we would love to earn your business (and future business) and gain your referrals! The grand design is how we met your needs and stayed in budget. Therefore every closet we build is perfect and beautiful! 👗 👔 We knew this closet had such potential for storing the clothes in there before and allowing more space to see and find everything EASILY!! 👛 We ❤️ LOVE ❤️ how the install turned out! We put the drawers in the center of the closet and hanging on either side. This allows the closet to feel larger too! Shelving on either side of the door allows for you eye to be drawn to the drawers!
