#this house literally haunts me. I think about it daily. I haven't been the same since being there #dolls #also for those of you who haven't seen the original/first post about this house:#this isn't a haunted house! this was an estate sale I went to in my hometown #this was a real living person's house (already significantly cleaned up)#I bought a lamp table and a moon-shaped shelf from this house and didn't manage to get either clean enough to put out but oh well!#I'm going to try to get the lamp working and a new shade. I want to have part of this woman's house with me.

Last night I visited McCall's Haunted Farm and corn maze (high quality experience that I heartily recommend), and part of it goes straight through a legit full-scale haunted house with a whole entire creepy doll room as the final section.

I was seriously impressed with the artistry and curation of this collection. Finding specifically made spooky dolls and/or making them yourself from various parts isn't an easy or inexpensive task! I wish I had been allowed to stop for more than a few seconds to admire it. Oh well. I'm sure a hundred years from now, my dolls and I will be hanging out in circumstances similar to this...........
