Hogwarts legacy new update

So I took the liberty of trying out some of the new stuff they got.

Not only did photo mode come out lovely in the Xbox. But I got a nice before shot of Amaya before she went to meet Penny and the lovely horrors that awaited.

I wanted to take photos of her sitting beside Ominis where he usually pops a squat in the DADA tower. But nah. He went on winter holiday apparently. *pout* found Andrew and got him bent over for me. lol. And Sebastian. Who just..emo. lol.

Now personally. I’ve always enjoyed horror. Been told I was a psychopath for enjoying Outlast. And my obsession for Resident evil is immense. So the scenes I got to bear witness. It was cool. Wicked even. But you know what else…

New fear unlocked: Mannequins

Anyways yeah. Baby girl got through it and we freed Penny. So heck yeah for that. Still want so much more for HL but here we are. You make do with what you have. *sigh*

Haunted Hogsmeade👻

Finally played through the “new” DLC. Enjoyed it a lot! Though the mannequins freaked me out at first, and I started shooting them every time they appeared 😆

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

Finally, I started to update my Hogwarts Legacy from Steam to get the Hogsmeade shop, Caligo, and the Lavender Broom.

My review of the summer update so far:

First, the Haunted Hogsmeade quest; FOUL LOATHSOME EVIL MANNEQUINS. The quest theme is spot on the haunted genre, the maze like corridors are almost nauseous as a freaking Ferris-wheel; slow and confusing.

FOUL LOATHSOME EVIL MANNEQUINS, oh I did say that from the start didn't I? Anyway, those freaking wooden husks deserves another callout. Because Merlin's beard they creeped me out even though I lost my childhood fear of them a long time ago. Every time they appeared, I diffindo and confringo them all!

Caligo is finally my OC's personal Hippogriff in game-life! Love the contrast of its blue-eyes and his Onyx feathers. Can't wait to get photos of them for art reference.

Lavender Borealis broom is a wondrous addition to my OC's collection. I love the purple trail it leaves while flying. <3

Photo mode is something I have to get use to using it. So far, I manage to take photos of Anais' Stiches and Draughts shop and when she tries out her new Lavender Borealis broom, which I headcanon as one of Sprintwitches' newest model. As stated above, this feature might help to get good HL art references for my fanart drawings in the future. hehe

As the rest of the gear items like the glasses and the Azkaban outfits, I'm not interested at all. Nothing to say about it to be frank. But I suppose, other players would have fun with them along with the Photo-mode so no judgement at all.

What more could you ask ?

Conclusion : This shop is completely wasted ! It would have been more advantageous to use it as an attraction for tourists… Or even better, as an hotel ! Certainement !

Finally downloaded the Summer Update for Hogwarts Legacy…definitely worth the wait…now to put these new perks to good use, while eagerly awaiting the release of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, which should hopefully be this September.

Daily Prophet Headline: New shop in Hogsmeade opens under new management of a Hogwarts Student???

Honestly felt it was too short or cuz maybe it was too easy what with me playing with baby B's all maxed stats playthrough 😅 And is it just me who thought it wasn't creepy at all??? Like I only blasted at the mannequins when they were actively attacking me (or in the way) but i HC they were also past prisoners who didn't make it out so Beatrice was reluctant to blast at them with no reason 🫢

Bonus: this being Beatrice's remembrance just after newly acquiring the shop cuz wtf 🤣

Seriously fell in love with the Lavender Borealis Broom 🪻💜

Aaaand just had to reenact an epic escape on Caligo! 🤩✨

not me wanting to tweak with the game's photomode more, only time will tell 😅

Sorry for my absence, I was imprisoned by officer Singer for blowing up that suspicious shop that was for sale in Hogsmeade. I'm not sorry, the wallpaper in there was atrocious. Also there was a freak in the basement but that's not as important.

I cannot with the mannequins in HL’s Haunted Hogsmeade quests. They seriously reminded me of the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who. Genuinely not expecting any quest to be so scary.
