You sit at the kitchen table, the warm light of the lamp above you casting soft shadows on the walls as you swipe your finger across your phone screen. The distant hum of the city filtering through the open window mingles with the soft whisper of the trees. You're waiting for Braeden to come back from his studio session with the guys, like he does every Thursday, when the sound of the door suddenly swinging open breaks the tranquility. The bang of the door slamming shut echoes through the house, and you hear hurried footsteps running up the stairs.

“Brae?” you call, setting your phone aside as you stand. There’s no response, but his body language says it all. You follow the sound of his footsteps, climbing the stairs one by one, a growing concern building in your chest. When you reach the hallway, you hear the bedroom door slam shut, followed by a muffled cry of frustration.

As you gently push the door open, you see him. Braeden is lying on the edge of the bed, his feet dangling in the air, and his eyes—those eyes that have always shown you strength and kindness—are now filled with helplessness. He looks at you like a wounded puppy, extending his hand toward you, seeking comfort.

“Oh, babe… What happened now?” you ask softly as you take his hand. You lie down beside him, feeling the weight of his emotions in the air, so thick it feels like you could cut through it. Your fingers find his hair, and you begin to stroke it, trying to soothe the storm in his mind.

“It’s the same as always… Dylan doesn’t listen to me,” his voice is barely a whisper, as if the words weigh him down. He falls silent for a moment, struggling to find the way to explain what he’s feeling. “I want to do one thing, he wants another, and…” He lets out a long sigh, and it feels as if the air leaves his body like he’s been holding his breath all day. “It’s suffocating,” he adds, his hand falling limply to his side as his eyes search yours, filled with uncertainty.

You keep stroking his hair, your gaze soft yet steady, trying to offer him reassurance. “And what did Dylan say about it?���

Braeden shifts slightly on the bed, his gaze lost on the ceiling. “He said it was fine, but…” he pauses, his eyes narrowing as if replaying the moment in his mind. “I know he was upset about it. I told him we could leave the song the way he wanted, but he told me no, that it was fine the way I suggested. But still… everything felt tense.”

You know Braeden hates conflict. He’d rather swallow his own words than get into an argument, and that’s what worries you most. Sometimes, his desire to avoid problems locks him in an emotional prison.

“Braeden…” you look at him, your eyes reflecting the sadness you feel for him.

“I know! I know what you’re going to say,” he interrupts, his voice rising a little, not out of anger but from frustration with himself. “You told me to stand my ground, not to give in so easily, but… God, it’s so hard. I don’t want him to be mad at me.”

You feel this is one of those moments when you need to be his anchor, so you take a deep breath before speaking. “Are you willing to sing songs you don’t like for the rest of your life just because you’re afraid of facing a small disagreement?”

Your words seem to hang in the air, heavy, but necessary. Braeden falls silent for a moment, his brows furrowed as if processing what you just said. You know he’s not someone who gives up easily, but the fear of disappointing others has always kept him bound.

“It’s not that…” he finally responds, his voice softer, more vulnerable. “I just… I don’t want him to think I believe his music is bad, and I don’t want him to end up singing songs he doesn’t like either.”

You sigh, understanding him more than he understands himself. “Brae,” you look at him tenderly, “if Dylan accepted your suggestion, it’s because he thought it was good, because he listened to you, he didn't do it because he felt obligated. The only one putting this pressure on yourself is you. Making music with your friends shouldn’t feel like this.”

Braeden keeps staring at the ceiling, processing your words. Slowly, he raises an arm and places it over his forehead, covering his eyes. “Do you think so?” he asks, his voice tired, but also carrying a small glimmer of hope.

“Yes, I do,” you respond firmly. “Music is a reflection of what you feel. You can’t keep suppressing your ideas out of fear of what others will think. You need to find a balance, and the guys will, too.”

Braeden turns toward you, his eyes tired but grateful. In that moment, he feels small, vulnerable, but also comforted by your presence. You take his hand again and squeeze it gently, giving him strength.

“Thank you,” he murmurs, his voice barely audible.

You snuggle closer to him, wrapping your arms around him, feeling his breathing slowly deepen, becoming more relaxed. The atmosphere, once thick with tension, now feels lighter. The night outside carries on, but within that room, the world seems to pause for a moment, giving you both a much-needed reprieve.

Braeden closes his eyes, and you keep stroking his hair, knowing that for today, at least, you’ve managed to calm the storms in his mind.

Midnight. An hour you learned to hate at the start of the semester ever since you went to Savannah with your “friends” that you had to make a project with. You and Logan were friends before everything happend. You were the one that helped him and confronted his bullies and he helped you through some real shit when people sent you threats or called you names just because of your skin color. You could say you developed a small crush on the blonde boy. Maybe it was his looks, or his very likable personality and admirable dedication. You don’t know, you just really liked him.

Back to the present time, you and the group decided to get the jeep finally with Logan staying behind, backing you up if anything bad happened. The tune of “Party Walkers” being heard to distract the phantoms. “Couldn’t you guys have picked a better song? I dunno something with a bit more action?” You say and climb down the rope, sprinting towards the house, flashlight in hand. “I think thats the least of our problems right now.” Taylor says, Tyler nodding along with her as they fought off a phantom. “Right sorry.” You run to the car and go to hop in when realization hit you; “Ashlyn it’s fucking locked!?” You say and look at the the rest of the group who were arguing. You look towards Logan who looked confused so you take out your walkie talkie; “The cars locked, we’ll have to go find it. Be careful okay?” “I should be the one telling you that.” You chuckle and give him a thumbs up, putting away the walkie talkie and walk inside with the twins, Aiden and Ashlyn falling behind.

You and the twins look around the room, when Taylor suddenly speaks up; “Soo, whats up with you and Logan?” She says, shuffling in some random drawers. You freeze in place and look towards her; “What do you mean?” You say and open one of the cabinets, finding the key. “Got’cha”

Taylor shrugs and opens her mouth to speak when you hear a loud ‘bang’ from outside. Everyone tenses up and you share worried glances but decide to stay in the room just in case. A few minutes later you see a pretty beaten up Aiden and Ashlyn, breathing heavily. The twins question their appearance and the gunshot but you interrupt them; “Guys let’s go I don’t want those black fucks finding us.” You say backing up to the door, not noticing the hundreds of phantoms that were lurking in the house. “Y/N behind you!” Ashlyn yells and you turn around quickly, a phantom jumping on you, claws digging into your flesh. “Shit!” You kick the phantom trying to get it off of you when Ashlyn suddenly pointed her flashlight at the phantom, turning into some black goo with eyes. “Ew Ashlyn what the fuck you should’ve let me die now I got this black shit on me.” You say and try to stand up but you hiss in pain, clutching your side. “Y/N are you okay?” Tyler says, holding you up. “Yep fine, just have a chunk of flesh missing but yep everything okay!” You say sarcastically and glare at the boy. “Nah of course the black kid gets fucking slashed i’ve seen horror movies.” You say as Tyler hoists you up onto his back. You look out the door, hundreds of phantoms watching your every move. You tremble slightly, pointing your flashlight on them as Ashlyn tells you the plan on how to get out.

You guys form a circle and slowly walk out of the house. You hand the keys to Ashlyn and you guys quickly get into the car. Just when you thought you were safe phantoms start banging on the door, breaking the windows. Everyone screams in sync as Ashlyn swerves the car and drives as fast as she can. “Logan open the gate!” Ashlyn yells into the walkie talkie and furrows her brows, focusing on the ‘road’.

You clutch your side, your clothes and hands soaked in crimson blood. Taylor was trying her best to stop the bleeding as much as she could, putting pressure on your wound; “Ashlyn go faster Y/N is literally going to bleed out!” Tyler yells, earning a glare from you and Taylor. “I’m fine damnit.” You say and take a deep breath. The second Ashlyn goes past the gates they shut, everyone rushing out of the car. They rest you on the ground, the red sky seeming to go blurry in your perspective. You hear a distant voice, the voice you oh so adored; “Y/N? Y/N! Stay with us!” Logan shouts, placing your head in his lap; “It’s going to be okay we’re here with you.” He clutches your hand, rubbing soothing circles on the back of it. You smile, your vision going black.

6:58am. You jolt awake, suddenly in your room. “Fucking hell..” You rub your eyes, your side feeling numb and sore. Your phone starts to vibrate like crazy, getting at least 20 messages a second from the others, but one especially stuck out to you. “Y/N??” “Y/N??” “I’m coming over.” It read and you smile, getting ready for school. Your hair was currently in some braids your mama made a few days ago. You smile at the thought, moments like these between your mom being rare since she was always really busy. You change into a new pair of clothes and go downstairs to make breakfast. A few minutes later you hear a knock on the front door. You run over and open the door but you get tackled in a bone crushing hug. “Y/N I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anything you help I really am, I couldn’t bear the thought of loosing you, I love you so so much you’re the most important person in my life, I just—” You cut him off with a quick peck on the cheek, leaving the blabbering boy to look at you with his usual cute puppy eyes. “It’s okay Logan really, you couldn’t have done anything it’s not your fault alright?”

Logan looks at you confused; “You have feelings for me? You’re not weirded out that I like you?” You chuckle and fix his glasses and ruffle up his hair. “Of course not why would I be? What’s there to not love about you?” Logan smiles softly at this and cups your cheek before speaking again; “Can I uh—” “Yes you can.” He turns a bit red and pulls you into a gentle kiss, not realizing the group had seen the interaction between you two.

the thing is tho, mhj has consistently been showing the public red flags. the lyrics of 'cookie (ik she didnt write the lyrics but shes the ceo. she got them approved)', the portraits gifted to her of naked underaged girls, her obsession w olivia hussey (who happens to look like minji), her treatment of sm employees, her past work w shinee (sexualization of underaged taemin), etc. not to mention her extremely (at least in my eyes) inappropriate relationship w nwjns. the gifts shes gotten them and how she uses their emotions as a weapon. if bhs did that, everyone would be up in arms.

nwjns is the worst off. theres a chance they might leave w mhj if ador does pull away from hybe, which isnt in the groups best interest. mhj's press conference and overall attitude is gonna affect their upcoming release fs, and their proximity to mhj herself is worrisome.

i think hybe definitely was shady for greenlighting illit's concept when it's clear there was inspiration from newjeans. i personally just assumed they discussed this with ador but i guess not?? so weird that they don't act like proper adults in that building. i'll also say that i don't think min heejin's concept for newjeans is original or considered "hers" but since most people associate that concept with newjeans, it's safe to say that illit's creative director probably got it from newjeans anyways. another thing about hybe tho is that i don't think they've been doing strong concepts for their groups. txt did have a strong one initially but bighit just stopped trying for them (probs bc their team got moved to source music 🥲) i think belift did a good job with keeping the vampire concept for enha consistent and i was initially scared that it would stop after hybe fully acquired cj enm, but i think they've recognized that enha just has too much connected to their vampire concept (their webtoon, storyline for their music videos) but enha's also been neglected by hybe a lot so screw them 🚶‍♂️

Omg it has been forever since I have played in this household it feels BUT we got updates! As you can tell Kimi has moved on from her bang era and now has a fresh cut & so does Dean because when Kimi dyed her hair back to her more natural color Dean felt left out and decided to chop his hair a bit as well (he literally is so goofy) So far they are just navigating the life of being parents with Rayne & recording every milestone he makes for example recently Rayne has started being able to roll over and grab things! He also hates being held, loves wake-up time, and is a pretty drooly baby at this time. He takes longer to warm up to things being a more cautious baby but he is making great strides and soon will be learning how to walk! Dean has already been showing Rayne all the musical instruments, singing to him, and having little recording days in the studio together. They both believe Rayne will grow to be a singer/musician in the future at this rate and it makes Kimi so happy to see Dean be a father to their wonderful son. There will be some more updates with pictures from the last couple of weeks since Rayne was born! They are def the parents to want to hold onto every memory together. thank you guys sm for all the love & support lately! if you'd like to see more of me I am more active over on twitter.♡

Oli's goofy with hobbies bc he's ADHD-coded /lh, so if he finds a new one he'll just disappear for days and forget society exists for a little while. He likes to play music and used to perform for his parents all the time when he was little, but as he got older and they got more busy he played less because he *needs* that audience to really enjoy it... he'd love to play more for Joel, but he's a little shy about it 👉👈

(Y'know how cc!Joel shouts "EEFO!" and also cc!Stress' tweets? Yeah.) Oli won't necessarily talk like that all the time, but he will mimic and tease him about it hehe ^^

Joel picked up giggling from Oli, he used to rarely laugh at all but Oli's laugh (you know the one) is just so contagious <3

(And also from personal experience (/hj), they both say ourple/ouppy/kibby cat/etc. to be funny, but I dunno who started it)

Like if someone "wanted his opinion" on something but he thought they didn't really care he wouldn't really say anything, but if Oli wanted his opinion? Absolutely, here is it. (It's also dangerous for him, because if he starts talking sometimes he just doesn't stop-)

Oli's definitely a talker ahsjfs, extrovert boy- he usually can't stand silence and will just keep talking to fill the emptiness because if he doesn't he'll explode, but you better believe he'll start listening like a loyal dog the second Joel opens his mouth.

They'll usually go to each other for most things because y'know they're very close and trust each other and it's just easy to, but it does depend on what it is too.

Like if Oli's worried about Joel, he's not gonna go to Joel, he's gonna go to Ren or Martyn because he trusts them a lot too, but also they're "ew old parents smh" so if it's a "kid problem" it's bestie time.

Same with Joel, he'll go to Oli for most things (more so than the reverse, because Joel has less support people to begin with), but there are some things he just... can't. And it's times like those where he'll go to his mom for it -- not the queen, his real mom, the Mother Tree. She doesn't talk back in words, but even just curling up in her branches or under her roots is enough to comfort him :')

Guys I am very obsessed with xmen rn, I have watched 7 movies in the xmen universe in 3 days and I am currently watching my 8th 😭

Anyways I am going to give my opinions on them (I am doing this in the order i watched them)

Deadpool- amazing, 10/10, I would want to watch this again for the first time. It was so funny and yes Ik it is not a xmen movie but I did say xmen universe and there are xmens in the movie soooo- anyways everyone should watch it I love it sm the comedy is on point for the whole movie, the action os amazing and the plot was just *chefs kiss*

Deadpool 2- AMAZONG SEQUAL!!! Such a good movie, 10/10 I love that shit. This sequel slayed and everyone in it was a slay, Wade is my Canadian icon <- is Canadian xemself. I very much loved the plot, characters and just like everything. I also need to say it now, Wade does not look that bad in these movies 😭 like bro looks half decent why does everyone think he is so fugly??

Days of future past- absolute slay of a movie, Ngl everything in this movie bangs. It is either a 9-10/10 for me. I really enjoyed the characters in the plot, I for sure preferred the past bits over the future bits but that is neither here nor there. Peter slayed, Logan slayed, Hank slayed, Charles slayed, Erik slayed, everyone slayed. Idk if I can put into words how much I loved this movie, genuinely so so good. I always rewatch this one and it never fails to make me happy always a good and fun time and all the characters are just so skrunkly.

Apocalypse- dude. Dude listen- when it comes to the plot and apoc himself I uh I hate it a lot. Maybe hate is a strong word but it was one I said a lot watching it 😭 the plot is weird and iffy and not my thing. The characters on the other hand, the characters lowkey slayed. Liek some did (peter, Kurt, Scott, angel for some bits, raven, hank, etc) and other were uh not my thing (apocalypse. Mainly apocalypse but also Jean. (Side note, I think that is his name, the main Bady is who I am referring too by saying apocalypse)) idk my rating for the movie just if you ever watch it don’t watch it for the plot watch it for the characters pls you will drive yourself insane if you don’t. 5-6/10 characters really save it.

First class- Ngl I enjoyed this one. Charles did piss me off for like the whole movie (I began to rage at that man Ngl 😭😭) but everyone slayed!! They were all super silly Billy’s, though idk how I feel about how they portrayed Darwin in the movies knowing that his physical appearance did play a big part in his backstory in the comics (this is as kn he looks like an alien in the comics and he looks normal in the movies). OTHER THAN THAT! It was pretty fun! Raven was super cool in it and so was Erik. I really like how they went a bit in-depth on his backstory. 8-9/10

X-men- ABSOLUTE SLAY OF A MOVIE !! Dude dude dudes I love rogue and Logan’s relationship sm it is so cute, fr father-daughter moments right there. I really enjoyed Logan (wolverine) in this, he was very fun and everyone slayed. I love Bobby too, Ngl I can see how in these movies they don’t have the overplot plot sorted out bc there are some gaps between what we know about what happened in future past and apoc and what the characters show (I.e not knowing who Logan is even if they should.) but that is okay! I genuinely really enjoyed this movie and I craveeeee more rogue and Logan moments. Also everyone slayed here and Charles didn’t annoy me as much! 9/10

X-men origins: Wolverine: … so uh that is a movie that exists. I give it like 0 maybe 2 if I am being generous out of 10 (0-2/10) bc this movies is bad. Like really bad. Don’t watch it, pls don’t. I do not subject yourself to that 😭 it is Not cannon to any of the other movies and how do I know that without looking it up? BC THE WHOLE THJNG GIVES DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE AND SCOTT A VERY DIFFERENT BACKSTORY!! It is so fucking bad, like I got half way through and considered quitting but I didn’t and it just got worse 😭 don’t even get me started on gambit, BRO DOES NOT LOOK LIKE GAMBIT WDYMMMM THERE ISNT EVEN HIS ICONIC EYES NEVERMIND THE OUTFIT IS FUCKEDD. Also deadpool in this.. holy fuck. I was so excited at the beginning to see Wade but at the end I wanted to die 😭 /nsrs. Why does he look like that??? Did not enjoy at all, Logan did have one funny line that I can remember so I will give him that but that was all like it. Did not enjoy do not make yourself ever watch that unless it is for torture reason. I didn’t even finish it, I still got 9 minutes left but I gave up

X2- this is the one I am currently watching and it SLAPS! More rogue and Logan moments, more Bobby, WE GET NIGHTCRAWLER IN UR!!! KURT MY CHILD!! Charles is okay, Jean, Scott and storm all slay in their own ways no my favs by any means though, lack of hank which is sad lol. In apocalypse Kurt goes to the school and knows about it and apocalypse is set before x2, whilst in this movie he hadn’t even heard of the school and didn’t know any of the peeps he had met before and they didn’t know him. Minor issue, not that big of a deal but annoyed me a bit lol. Can’t give my rating yet bc I am not done but I will reblog this post when I am and give you my final thoughts! much as im annoyed by the potential implications of the mhj/hybe drama i do feel like theres way too much speculation rn ..... rlly doesn't sit so well with me that everyone is bashing on mhj alone (im not supporting her either though) and not bang sihyuk too. some hybe stans rlly js worship the guy and idk why . its not like he's innocent too. like those texts from him are so annoying too. abt if she's satisfied that nwjns is so popular and also abt trying to rival aespa / bp alone ...

hybe has sm power and r known for their mediaplay so i rlly do wish people would keep that in mind instead of doing their own speculation to bash on mhj . we don't know fs if she's the reason behind seunghan, youngseo, etc .... it seems so forced that everyone just collectively is making stuff up on their own theories and pissing on her. like im all for it when everything's done with but it's giving misogyny to me ughhh idk how to explain it eitherr without sounding like a mhj stan I PROMISE IM NOT TAKING HER SIDE T_T i just cant help but feel like poeple find it easier to hate and bash on women sometimes. even me scrolling x nowadays feels so annoying. literally feel so bad for illit and nwjns rn.

personally i was a teeny annoyed that illit had a similar image to nwjns w their nostalgia/coquettecore (also though just seems like cute/youthful concept is making a cb in general in kpop) but only because their songs on super real me were the exact type of songs i liked most from nwjns (super shy, hurt etc. the softer less peppy songs compared to hybe boy) so it bothered me that there was an implication that nwjns might be forced to distance itself to a more differing concept to keep some contrast btwn the two ... but ik that's not illit's fault at all (love the girls sm im a runext fan ^^) i feel like i can understand the upset that illit was getting a similar concept when every other grp before illit in hybe had more defined concepts seperating each other. but once again that's all hybe's doing ...... seeing the choreographers supporting mhj too makes it seem like not even the nwjns team or even all the staff were on board with the references in the choreo either...

anyways i do hope this controversy doesnt impede on either grps promos :(((( and i really hope everything gets sorted out... im srsly hoping this doesnt turn into a 5050 situtation again but with nwjns i was so upset when that happened . was curious on what your thoughts were or if u were keeping up with everything?

ㅤNo, nothing good starts in a getaway car.

ㅤDull beats of music bangs in your head, your heartbeat seems to copy the fast pace of the beat, breathing even faster. You didn’t expect to see him, Tsukishima Kei, in a random college house party your boyfriend had invited you to. Your boyfriend knew you weren’t too social, you didn’t have much friends, so he thought it would be a good idea to invite you, he was such a good man, he cared about you and he took care of you, he encouraged you to make more friends, he helped you with anything you asked. He was such a good man, a better man, than the one standing in front of you right now.

ㅤHis tall frame even taller, he’s still active in volleyball, after all. He looked so much more mature. And oh wow, he still smokes. “Can I help you?” he scoffed, somewhat annoyed. Oh, he doesn’t remember you? maybe it’s the alcohol, maybe he doesn’t remember you at all, or maybe it’s the wrong person. You’ll assume the latter, seems like the safest option. Acting drunk even though you’re stone cold sober. Going back to what you were here for, you didn’t want somebody to like you because of your actions while you were drunk, you wanted them to like you for you. And you’ve found a person that does love you for you, two, actually, hell, you’re dating one right now, but for some reason it doesn’t feel right.

ㅤ“Nothing. You just look familiar” you sigh, turning your head to the ground from the patio you are standing on. You leaned your body to the fence of that patio, letting your elbows support your weight. “Really? How so?” he copies your movements, leaning to the fence next to you, smoke exiting his lips just like how Tsukishima used to in the back of your high school, somewhere you can be together (and your other friends) and nobody else can see you.

ㅤ“Well, there was a guy I liked in high school. He was pretty mean, kind of a bully” you chuckle, recalling all the times you were with him clearly. “He never paid any attention to me, I thought he hated me, but one night, he kissed me. It was… wonderful… I still think about that kiss, I still think about him. I miss him. I have a boyfriend though, so I doubt I could ever be with him again” a wave of overwhelming sadness sucked you in. You miss him so much. You miss how he looked at you that night. How his lips tasted like strawberries and how his breath smelled like smoke and how loved every single second of it.

ㅤ“Are you drunk?” he chortles. His teasing goes unanswered. You are so into your thoughts about him and how you wished you could’ve said or done something sooner. Coughing to hide his embarrassment, he speaks up again, “Alright, when did you kiss him?” he rests his chin on his palm as he looks at you as if he knew something you don’t. “Night after graduation?” “Night after graduation” you both say in unison, his more of a question. You twist your head towards him. Your eyes widen in shock. Something pierced through your heart, you felt so happy and relieved. But you can’t do anything, now. You have somebody else that loves you, and you like enough to be with.

ㅤ“Kei…?” you whisper in disbelief. “What’s up?” he laughs. That handsome laugh you haven’t heard. Finally, after 3 years you hear it again, and his smile. Oh my god his smile. You need to kiss him again. “I miss you too, too bad I’m also dating somebody else” he inhales his cigarette bud, his smile wiped off.

ㅤ“Well, you don’t seem too happy with your guy” he blows the same smoke ring into the sky. It’s almost like that night again, but now its somewhat cloudy. It’ll probably rain soon, you don’t have much time with him before it’ll start to rain. Raining means your boyfriend will search for you to take you home and no words will be exchanged. Even if you talk, its always the same thing, he always gives out the same responses, “that’s great, honey” “isn’t that fun” “aww sorry for that” “mhm, oh wow” you felt like a child, you wanted to be treated to an equal, not like a toddler babbling about their newfound interest.

ㅤ“Yeah, go figure” you sigh, once again. “Wanna tell me about it?” he asks, lowering his face to get closer to yours. Everything lines up like that night again. “Would you listen?” you reciprocate softly. “I didn’t get to two years ago, so why not now?” he put out his cigar on an ashtray readily available next to him. “Three years ago, Kei” you slide down to the floor, crossing your legs. Tapping the floor next to you, looking up at him, inviting him to sit down next to you. “It’s been THAT long?” he plops down next to you. something in him wants to lay his head on your lap, but he knew he couldn’t do so.

ㅤHe's been waiting for you. All this time. He isn’t sure why he lied about having a partner too, perhaps to have some relatability, connect to you in some way, but it’s not important now, what is important is now you, and how you feel and how he’ll never treat you like however this scumbag you’re treats you, although he hasn’t even seen or heard about him yet, he already hates him, all for you.

ㅤYour boyfriend, God bless his soul, is a good man. He loves and cared deeply about you. But lately, you’ve been, just, bored. He’s so nice, too nice. He’s so loving, too loving. There is no conversation to build your relationship, you can’t see his point of view, you can’t understand his stance, because he never told you. He always avoids self-inspection; everytime you try to raise your concern about how he acts towards you, he didn’t listen, resorting to empty apologies, instead of making things better. What the fuck are you doing?” you can hear your boyfriend screamed from a distance, his body squeezing and pushing against all other bodies on the dance floor. Tsukishima pulls away from you. “No, no, no. This… this is wrong, [Y/N]. I’m still immoral, or whatever the fuck I was when I was in high school, yeah maybe I’m still him, but I can’t.. no, I can’t. You’re with him, you can be happier with him, I just. I don’t deserve you” he stands up, towering over you.

ㅤYou jump up, grabbing and shaking some sense into him. “Yes we can! Please! Can we please just try it!? Please say you love me too, so at least I know that we could!” you yelled. Tsukishima has never seen you yell before, He can see the desperation in your eyes. He feels so bad. You want him, he wants you, but he knows you’ll regret it, and so do you, but you’re willing to risk everything to feel the thrill of it all again. He stares intently to your eyes, he can see clearly your brows furrowing and tears threatening to spill from your eyes, your whole body shaking. He can see it. He can feel it all. It hits him like a truck all at once. His head cannot keep up with his heartbeat. It is all too fast, he needs to sit down, but this is his only chance to be with you.

ㅤBut he knew, he would, and could never, be the right one for you. Don’t let his bigger, more built body deceive you, he hasn’t emotionally matured yet. Unlike your boyfriend, who at least is ready to take responsibility. He isn’t ready. He’ll hurt you.

staring at your door, hearing the banging against it, you can’t lie it’s crazy as hell.

“omg y/n, i swear if you do not open this god damn door right now, imma kick it down and i’m not joking girl.” lumine said. something tells you she means her threat.

contemplating your choices to either open the door or just let her kick the door and let herself in manually. you look at the door knowing you’d be forced to confess you’re secret. slowly opening the door you let lumine in as well as hu tao.

“hu what are you doing here?, i thought it was only lumine.” you said with confusion. “hehe, just in case you get murdered, you’ll be next my client!!”

“okay that doesn’t matter right now, what matters is why are you lying to us y/n. no jokes. tell me and hu the truth.”

“uhm, how about we sit down for this one.” hu tao has a mischievous look in her eyes, “is it that bad y/nnie?”, “unfortunately, yes.”

“okay enough small talk. tell us everything right now.” lumine looks at you with seriousness in her eyes.

sighing before you start talking. “okay so, to sum up why i didn’t wanna go anymore so suddenly is because, my ex is apart of that band.”

“wait you’re joking, like honestly this is some lie to cover up the whole reason.” hu tao says, lumine nodding in agreement.

“listen this ex was in highschool. we broke up after a shitty as argument. and i don’t wanna face him again ever. never in my life again. i’ll avoid him in any way that i humanly can.”

“listen y/nnie, i know that it’s hard to get over people, but you can’t let him control your life. he can’t stop you from going to a concert. he shouldn’t matter anymore we’re almost done with university, and guess what your life’s been great! if he doesn’t matter before then he shouldn’t matter now or in the future.” lumine states, she’s always been good with her words.

“that’s true y/n, you need to go live your life, you cnat just not go to somewhere just because he’s going to be there. facing him could help you get over him. you said y’all relationship ended cause of an argument right? you could get closure from meeting him again at this concert. i promise this could be good for you.”

almost tearing up you hug them both. “i love you guys so much, thank you hearing me out and helping em through it, you guys are the best.”

“hehe it’s no problem pookie!” hu tao stated with a bright smile. “what she said y/n, we’re here for you, as well as everyone else. don’t be afraid to open up to us.”

hearing a ding from hu tao’s phone, she checks it, shoving her phone in your’s and lumine’s face. “look!!! even albedo is going now! yoi convinced him.”

“looks like the whole group’s coming.” you said with a content smile.

“yes yes!!! okay intervention over. i’m glad we got this out of the way, now you can enjoy yourself at the concert and not give a fuck about that ex.” lumine said going back to her cheery self.
