Hantengu clones as Hashira swap AU

Background: Old man Hantengu is a single father with identical quadruplet sons. He lived in poverty all his life and he committed crimes to survive.

His crimes and body count significantly increased when the quadruplets were born. Bro had 4 kids to provide for and he didn't have the best relationship with his baby mama. She disappeared under mysterious circumstances when the quadruplets were still toddlers. Don't ask Hantengu what happened to her.

The quadruplets grew up and became swordsmen to pay the bills and their father's bail when he could no longer physically run from authorities like he used to. The Hantengu quadruplet brothers are all the same strength but the have different fighting styles and speed.

Sekido: The weird cycle of problematic dads continues with him. He had Zohakuten with a girl he dated for a while but she left him because of his anger issues. Zohakuten stays with his grandpa while his dad and uncles are on missions. Sekido uses thunder breathing. When fighting demons he's a lot like Sanemi and full on rages at them. The haori he wears on top of his demon slayer uniform is a hand-me-down kimono from Hantengu.

Karaku: He uses wind breathing and he occasionally flirts with demons before killing them. Deadly rizz is real. He's the second fastest after Urogi. He's very skilled but don't send him on missions to the entertainment district. He might get distracted and Hantengu might get a new grandkid 💀. He wears a green leaf pattern haori over his uniform but on warmer days he goes on missions shirtless while the sleeves of his haori are wrapped around his waist.

Aizetsu: Every group of hashiras got at least 1 depressed water breathing user. His sad face often catches demons off guard and mistakes him for a weakling which causes them to target him more. His defenses are pretty good as a water breath user and he easily slashes demons' necks as they come close to him. He wears a blue haori with rainclouds pattern.

Urogi: The man the myth the menace he's the fastest out of all four of them. He created feather breathing, which is derived from wind breathing. Feather breathing is very similar to wind breathing but requires the user to be faster and more flexible. His movements are like a bird as he jumps high and swoops downwards slashing demons necks from above. He goes on missions shirtless no matter the weather. Similar to Inosuke but is more associated with birds instead of boars He wears the uniform pants along with yellow waist beads.

Interactions with the other hashiras (swapped upper moons): Karaku and Urogi would sometimes instigate squabbles between Douma and Hakuji and think it's funny to see the ice hashira and snow hashira argue with each other.

Demon Slayer SWAP AU - Hashira impression of each other.

Hakuji 2 electric boogaloo

So I decided that I don’t like Hakuji’s original backstory that I gave him, so I deleted the post..

BUT. Now he has a new one. Now with 40% less tragedy.

He is still swapped with Sanemi in this au, and as such uses an original breathing style that’s a derivative of wind breathing (which he’s combined with his signature soryu to amplify his attacks greatly)

He spent much of his youth as a thief, stealing medicine for his father

He was taken in by a dojo after his father’s suicide, where he found a new family and fiance.

There, Hakuji spent several years happily training alongside Keizo and Koyuki until he was sixteen.

Everything changes when Koyuki’s father is turned into a demon and attempts to eat Koyuki and Hakuji.

Hakuji protects Koyuki, and despite his close bond with Koyuki’s father, does attempt to kill him to save her. He dies after being exposed to sunlight.

Koyuki doesn’t understand what’s going on and rebukes Hakuji for being a murderer.

Hakuji is left to drift after being disowned by the love of his life. He has little drive to do anything except hunt for revenge.

He takes to slaughtering demons, incapacitating them with the soryu he was taught by Keizo before stringing them up and exposing them to the sun.

Eventually, he’s picked up by the corps, and due to his superhuman strength and previous training, is able to become a Hashira at eighteen, six months after joining the corps.

Koyuki, eventually realizing her mistake, spends the next three years searching for Hakuji, hoping to apologize.

Because of her chronic illness, she’s too weak to become a demon slayer, and becomes a kakushi instead, eventually finding an opportunity to speak with Hakuji.

Hakuji is not Sanemi— when faced with the opportunity to reconcile, he takes it. Because in the end, this is all he ever wanted.

They get married!!

Hakuji remains in the demon slayer corps, because even though he’s been reunited with Koyuki, both of them haven’t forgotten about what happened to Koyuki’s father. As timid as Koyuki could often be, she too wanted revenge, and Hakuji, the stronger one between them, hopes that one day, he can behead The Demon King for them both.

She hates him so much, just one day this ugly demon saw her pretty face and made her into a demon, so he has a pretty wife, what he didn't know you can't force someone to be a demon or to be married to you. But non the less she is his muse, like it or not.

Hashita AU:

Gyokko and Momo are in an arranged marriage but are much happier even if Momo usually gets pissed at Gyokko for destroying her handy work, the custom clothes she makes for him.

This isn't my usual thing but I could not get it out of my head for the life of me.

Roles swap! AU: Tanjirō, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Genya, and Inosuke are all hashira and have to train the cannon hashira after Muzan has been put in a type of stasis for study (to find a cure). Basically, the hashira all are trained by Tanjirō's gang while Yoriichi is the master of the demon slayer corp and all the upper moons have reverted to children (being the only ones strong enough from his direct blood to still live) with Muzan in stasis so they are under his care as well.

Tanjirō: Sun hashira (taught by Yoriichi) Nezuko: water hashira (taught by Urokodaki) Genya: Wind hashira (had to give the poor boy something)

Everyone else is trained by cannon

Tanjirou takes on Kyojurō, Gyomei, and Mitsuri as personal students.

Nezuko takes on Giyū, Iguro, Kanae, and Shinobu as her students.

Zenitsu takes on Uzui as his student (he would freak out if he had to deal with any more kids due to Uzui having three wives that visit him daily)

Genya takes on Sanemi, and Muichiro as his students.

Inosuke is a bit of a loner that helps out to "toughen up" the slayers.

I want to expand on this and make it an actual thing so let me know if you have any head canons for this au
