someone correct me if I'm wrong, but what if Adaine's visions of Fabian's birthday/election night weren't actually elven oracle related and were from Oisin/Jace to influence them to have the election at seacaster manor. sending visions seems like something a wizard or sorcerer could do right?
#fhjy#dimension 20#all my dnd knowledge is from the show so im not sure what spells a sorcerer or conjuration wizard could do#hmm i wonder if i go back and watch all the scenes where adaine seemingly gets a vision if its in a public place#has she had any other sort of elven oracle visions like the ones about the party before?#fantasy high#my textposts

Maybe a weird idea, but what if for Fantasy High: Senior Year, it was set ~50 years in the future or so, where all the Bad Kids are seniors now (hence the name). This can allow the Fantasy High series to get out of just the high school setting, the huge time jump means the characters can be level 20, the plot doesn’t have to revolve around immediate things that happen a year after this last season.
Fig can have her separation from the group where she’s lived many years doing her own thing growing. Emily can even choose to keep her retired, saying she’s happy just being a rock star or arch devil in hell or whatever she wants Fig to ultimately do, and can have another character or bring Fig back for a little here and there if she wants, without it being expected to bring Fig back.
Fabian can have his little sibling all grown up, and we can explore more about that. Chungledown Bim can be defeated during the time skip or even as a side plot during the season. He can be retired and not have to worry about keeping up his maximum legend status all the time, and live peacefully but accomplished.
Riz will probably have spent tons of his time exploring other planes of existence, being a secret agent with his dad, taking down all kids of baddies across the universe. He won’t have to be so stressed all the time having to keep tabs on his friends and make sure they don’t get themselves killed (though now he does have to do this with all of the newbies at his job).
Kristen is finally living her best life with a huge congregation following her pantheon of gods, spreading the word of doubt and justice and the true meaning of what these gods stand for. And who knows, maybe Kristen resurrected even more. Now Kristen is making sure each god has a following that believe in and shape the gods in the way the gods want to be shaped.
Adaine has long killed her mother at this point. Her and Aelwyn are best friends, inseparable, though each with their own independent life. I’ve also seen a couple posts about how Adaine would make a good principal (much better than Augefort at least), so she could be doing that as well as changing Fallinel to be less stuck up and pompous. Also she’s settled into her role as the Elven Oracle, and while it may still annoy her that every elf and their mother seems to want a prophecy from her, she at least accepts that her visions are important enough to change the tides of the world and her role shouldn’t be taken so lightly.
And lastly, Gorgug has proven himself as the greatest wizard of all time. Barbaficer has become as common as any other class. He’s changed the world with his inventions, and could be head of some engineering department or whatever that’s brought the entire world of Spyre into the future with crystals and vehicles and all sorts of technological advances that could never have been dreamed of before he came along.
And after all of this personal growth each of the characters had, they have to get together for “one last adventure, for old times’ sake.” But none of them have really adventures in a couple years. Not like when they were younger, that is, but whatever’s going on can’t be stopped by just anyone.
I was also thinking that tbh, it would be neat to maybe explore permanent deaths for the characters at the end, whether it’s from the final battle or the epilogue where each Intrepid Hero gets to choose how their character finally passes, and ends their story. It can put the Fantasy High series to rest in a good way, maybe leaving an open ending to give way for a new generation of heroes but also a final ending to the Bad Kids (so fans don’t keep asking for another year, then another, maybe college this time, etc etc.)
It would also be fun to start off the season with their deaths, have the typical introductions and scene settings that happen with each season, and then the end of the episode: BAM! They all die, put to rest, who will avenge them, the story begins, the Intrepid Heroes start their actual characters, and the whole season is whatever the cast wants it to be, I’m just not sure how well that would work, or how it would still play into being Fantasy High without the main characters. Maybe it could be a side quest or even a longer one-shot or something if they did it this way

The Land of Crestfall
High above in the mountain ranges surrounding and intertwining Quel’thalas, there is said to be a palace in the sky. Not floating like that of Dalaran but a great fortress carved in and around the mountain range. Earth turned to pillars, bridges, places of worship and meetings. This is the place known as Silver Helm, the land of the Silverspeak family. Once brimming with traders and merchants from across the lands, the Silverspeak family harvest the mountains for building stone and silver ore to sell in great demand to the surrounding kingdoms. A combination of dwarven, elvish, and human craftsmanship, this palace in the sky was once brimming and glorious to behold.
But, with all things near and dear to the Elven Kingdom of Quel’thalas. That was not to remain. As the Traitor Prince Arthas swept through the elf’s homeland, his gargoyles and undead dragons happened upon the proud home of the Silverspeaks. Slaughtering its inhabitence including survivors of Lordaeron who fled seeking solace in the fortress. Despite holding out against the Scourge for several months. Eventually, the first wall would fall, then the second, the third, fourth, and so on. Until finally the undead reached the heart of Silver Helm and defiled the heart of a blue dragon who had gifted it to the Silverspeak family after the War of the Ancients and was subsequently passed down generation by generation.
With that, an undead garrison was left behind to hunt down any possible survivors. Enslaving or turning them all. And so it was that the light in the sky, darkened and hasn’t been lit since. Worst still, at the foot of the mountain leading upward, there had laid a moderately sized hamlet. It was not spared Arthas’ wrath from the vexation the Palace Fortress inspired among the rest of its kin. And thus with an eternal shroud covering both the hamlet and the palace above. Silver Helm’s gleam faltered and it became known only as Crestfall.
Family Line:
Matron Silverspeak of Suramar
The eldest and founding member of the Silverspeak family. Her original name seems to been obscured and expunged from many historical records. It is said she did this so no oracle, warlock, or other spellcaster could use it against her family. Therefore, she is simply known as the Matron. Her history as the head of the family is filled with blood. Initially, a sentinel in Kaldorei society, she fought in War of the Ancients. But, not before she was betrothed to a high elf nobleman whose name was also abolished from the records. passing in his sleep, his heirs were swiftly victims of unknown circumstances. Which left the entirety of his fortune to the Matron. Who swiftly brought about making her own noble family, the Silverspeaks. Lining the banner of her new home with her silver hair. From that point on all offspring had a signature silver strain running from their natural widows peak and through the rest of their mane.
After joining the Sentinels, she disappeared under the Suramar bubble while fighting back Queen Azshara’s demonic allies. Only recently has the Matron re-emerged and tales of her brutal campaign to raise her status in Shal’dorei society are scandalous. Sad to say, none are able to accurately tell the tale as anyone who would know were found to be beheaded in the darker alleyways of Suramar.
---
Patron Orterus Silverspeak of Quel’thalas
No paintings remain of the kind hearted soul that was Orterus Silverspeak as Arthas made sure to burn every remaining visage of the elf and his wife out of spite for withstanding the Scourge for so long. Both himself and Aira Silverspeak, were said to be a welcoming sort. Frequently inviting veterans of the First and Second Wars to dine in their halls or stay in the hamlet below if they weren’t up for the trip. In comparison to the rest of the nobles, it could be say Orterus was the gentlest of them. Though he didn’t lack in the game of politics and life. A guardian of Silvermoon, he was well trained and while not aspiring to become a general, he was content with his post. It is recorded that though he welcomed merchants of every creed in his mountain fortress. It is said, he was never a fool, having survived over three-hundred separate assassination attempts. And killing said assassins in the process. He would tragically be recorded as the last one standing agains the Scourge when Silver Helm fell. His soul devoured by the cursed runeblade Frostmourne. We may only hope, now that the blade has been shattered, his soul can find peace.
Matron Aria Silverspeak of Quel’thalas
While her husband was a Guard of Silvermoon, skilled in hand-to-hand combat and withstanding a great deal of punishment. It was only natural that Aria would compliment him by being the brains to his brawn. A talent archmage of the Kirin Tor, she saw to it the heart of the blue dragon Phalangosa was well maintained and that the magic the heart imbued to power the wards and sentries thoughout the palace was maintained and handled with the utmost care. Sharper than her husband, despite Orterus having survived over three-hundred attempts on his life. Aria made sure that number didn’t often increase in their long life span, often aspiring noblemen would be found burned alive after an attempt on Orterus’ life. And it was known through out Silvermoon that one didn’t get between Aria and Orterus, those foolish enough to try were never seen in proper condition again. To these ends, she handled the treasury, kept tabs on the comings and goings, and made sure that Orterus’ welcoming nature had plenty of food to accomidate unannounced guests. When her daughter Maridia decided to become a mage, Aria taught Maridia much of what she knows. She was the first to truly fall in the Onslaught of the Scourge. When Arthas found a way to over heat the wards causing an eruption which caused the front gates to crumble.
Maridia Silverspeak
Archmage of the Kirin Tor, member of the Sunguard, and the only daughter of the head Silverspeaks. She is also Heir to Silver Helm and thus Heir to all of Crestfall. If only her prospects were better. After joining and becoming an archmage of the Kirin Tor. The Scourge invaded Quel’thalas killing and extinguishing everything Maridia held dear. Not a scant few weeks later, Dalaran was invaded by the same force. However, she managed to escape. She was left alone in the world to deal with the loss of her land, family, and deal with magic withdraws. She followed Kael’thas into Outland and spent time fighting for the Sunstrider Prince. Only to foresee where his treachery would take them and abandoned her prince with a part of the army after a vision from a Naaru. Joining forces with the Alliance and the Horde, she fought against the Lich King, Illidari, through the Cataclysm and took time away from the battlefield to study during the Pandaren War. Only to meet a grisly fate when aiding the Bronze Dragonflight in repairing the holes in the time ways, Garrosh had ripped through on the way to Draenor. Traumatized by what followed, she never returned to Crestfall and thus, the heirdom is in a tentative position. Unable to remain in the timeline for long, there have been unfortunate calls to who now owns Crestfall and all that in tells.
