Ahh so, I finished this a few days ago, but life with friends got busy so here it is now. I know the new Halloween stuff is exciting but I did want to do a Groovy for Yume's harvestown card I drew awhile ago. I also wanted to challenge myself by drawing THREE characters and perspective. It was hard but I'm pretty proud of it.

I really tried to do a backgroud too! I think it came out pretty decent!

Saw an enstars calendar on someone's comifuro catalogue, it looked cute and it had all the character birthdays and i decided i wanted a twst version. Not sure if i could finish in time for 2024 though.

Just askin'. Since Shaftlands (I refuse to call them shiftlands unless a dev tell me otherwise) has "Fairest city", do you know is Harvestown has one similar? Or if Coral sea? Or even Afterglow Savanah.

I just ses the game through translates when it comes from JP server, since gacha games aren't really my thing (but I love Disney, Yana Toboso and hot mans).

Are you asking if those other places also have cities...? Yeah, they probably do, seeing as most of them are entire countries. In the case of the Afterglow Savanna, we've been to Sunrise City in Leona's hometown event. We stay overnight at a luxury resort and pay a visit to various markets and a famous tourist destination, the Elephant Graveyard. I'm sure there are other bustling metropolises there. Harveston itself does not appear to be a country but rather is a backwater village located within the Shaftlands. Epel and his family mention that there is a city nearby where they sell their apples and apple products, and that people in their village do business beyond their hometown. This is why Epel's grandmother, Marja, as well as the Harveston mayor, can switch flawlessly between their Harveston dialect and a more standardized dialect.

The Shaftlands are shown to be quite expansive, so it also has several other cities and towns we have yet to explore. We have been to the City of Flowers/Fleur City for Glorious Masquerade, but there's still plenty of uncharted land for us (Jack, Cater, Trein, and Vargas’s hometowns, for example). Technically, Fairest City is not even Vil’s hometown—it’s just a hub for the entertainment industry that he visits for work on occasion. We still don’t know where exactly in the Shaftlands Vil was born. We also have yet to visit the Coral Sea, but I have no reason to believe why the clustering of underwater civilizations would be largely different than those of terrestrial societies (environment aside).

Idea! Sebek is in one the forested areas around NRC (maybe because Silver went there and fell asleep) and ends up befriending a bunch of squirrels. This is in reference to the squirrel plushie from the harveston (or was it harvestown?) event.

Hello! I just wanted to say that I love your twst oc's, their all so unique and interesting. I was wondering if Adam's curse can be lifted or is it permanent?

Adam's curse is not permanent at all! In fact, it could've ended ages ago but Adam's curse involved breaking his self hatred cycle and growing to love himself. Him constantly self sabotaging is actively prolonging the curse and worsening his overblots in a never ending cycle of self fulfilling prophecy (he is not aware of this).

I think, getting back into writing, i want to step away from my twst ""chapter"" and write scenarios of rosenfluch interacting directly with the reader/yuu through events like Harvestown (Adam's guardian live in a town close to Epel that participates in the sledding competition so the two know vaguely of the other prior to the story) it would be more fun and easier to write imho..

Adam doesn't look it but he reads people very well and I think with Yuu being left alone during the winter holiday, he would definitely want to invite them over to meet his guardian and her son. (My dream Harvestown team is Adam, Yuu, Malleus, and either Cater or Rook) with them all struggling to work together to power their sled despite Adam and Malleus constantly popping their plush toys in their ???? Friendly????? Arguments???¿¿ they're weirdly antagonistic with each other all while also trying to get the youngest in their dorms to get along (Sebek and Perrault are like little chihuahuas together but their two housewardens think it's nice to see them so ... animated)

Anyways sorry for rambling!! I've got so many ideas for Adam and the reader I'm just so tickled pink that others like him!!!

In twst genderbent, I feel as if Cater and Epel are a bit more difficult to genderbend into females as they have issues with being feminine as males (only really visible in Cater if you're looking). I'm going to describe how I flip them with my understanding

Epel

Firstly Epel because I see his genderbending issues more. Epel is a character who was raised in a farming community as one of the only children(it's said in the harvestown event, I think), which would obviously cause consequential babying, as well as being a naturally feminine looking guy. He to cope with this threw himself into a toxic masculinity because(this is MY understanding) he wants to be taken seriously and maturely and not as cutesy and small. You can see this in game in how he acts.

Genderbending that is complicated because now the male character who wants to separate himself as far away from femininity as possible is a girl. I have seen some people try to just flip that and make Epel like feminine things and not want to masculine. Personally, I can't see that as happening because that would also have to change his interaction with every other character. Fem.Epel wouldn't look up to Leona anymore or Jack and Sebek. Plus, genderbending isn't completely changing how a character looks and acts. It's just changing their gender.

My interpretation of how Epel would act as a girl and how her supposed relationship with masculinity and femininity would be is sorry of how a pick me girl acts (I made a meme post about this, lol). Epel's relationship to femininity and masculinity is toxic, and you sorta have to keep that, so making her a pick-me type would make sense. Obviously, it's not to try and gain attention, but the notion of "Oh, femininity is weak and feminine girl are so much work" works. Epel does have an incorrect understanding that a masculine physic is strength, so a pick me understanding works.

Cater

Now, Cater. This one, I feel I am more likely to get wrong, so I am completely up for correction on this as Cater's lore is difficult.

Cater is openly feminine and cutesy, but that's more of a learned behavior. Canonically, Cater's sisters would dress him up, and based on how they literally fed him sweets until he hated them, I'm going to guess that they took that to the extreme, too.(Obviously, Cater's sisters were most likely malicious with any of this) Cater, also, still attempts to keep up appearances, avoid confrontation, keep peace, at unbirthdays he doesn't say "No, I don't like sweets" he finds Trey to change the flavor of the treat. I bet he would also try to pass it off or, being the people pleasing character he is, just suck it up and eat it. Cater isn't going to stop a behavior just because he is uncomfortable, we know that from Riddle's OB, so he would mostly likely continue to dress cutesy to appease his sisters.

Now, most genderbent depictions of Cater I see just have him being girly and a cutie pop. I don't disagree on this, but I would like to change the narrative on how it got there. Cater in a genderbent AU would be the younger sister of two older brothers. I imagine it would be a "we want our younger sister to have all the girl experiences" without her brother's realizing she doesn't like cutesy. Same destination, different routes.

Lol, this post was LONG, and Cater's part was definitely me just wanting to share my HC, but whatever. BTW, you can HC the fem version however you want because in the end, they aren't canon. This was just mine

My fav part of the Harvestown sledding event was when I was first watching it with @bunnwich. I paused the video to ask them what animal they would choose to pull their own sled? We both said our favorites: Bear for me and Rabbit for Bun.

You can imagine how I goofy I became went when Idia said my fav animal.
