Day Three- Celia/Cecilia

Cecilia hummed to herself as she followed the cleared path. Those between Mineral Town and Forget-Me-Not Valley did an excellent job clearing the mountain trails. The constant traffic and the warm sun on such a clear day also helped wonders. It wasn’t until she veered from the gravel that she touched snow. Cecilia finally came to a halt at the lake’s edge. She took a seat on a felled tree to lace her skates on. Cecilia timed her arrival perfectly; she was pleased to note as she observed you exit the mine.  

You had mentioned coming here last week to investigate the newly accessible mine. Upon hearing your plans, Cecilia immediately enlisted help for her own. Takakura discretely helped ensure the ice skates would fit you while Vesta, with Gotz's help, checked the thickness of the ice early this morning. Everything was in place, and she eagerly skated across to join you. 

“Hi, Y/N! Would you like to join me?” Ceci warmly greeted you, holding a pair of skates for you aloft. Her heart fluttered to a stop as you frowned and avoided her gaze. 

“I would love to, but I don’t know how to skate,” you mumbled. 

“Oh, that’s no trouble! I’d love to teach you!” 

Cecilia gently explained the basics as she helped you lace the skates properly. You took a deep breath before wobbling onto your feet. Ceci fought a smile at the sight. You reminded her of a calf, new to the world and trying to find its footing. Her hands shot out to catch you as your first step forward tilted your balance. You clung to Cecilia, questioning if this was a great idea. 

“Here, I’ll support you,” she said, holding your hand tightly in hers to pull you along behind her. You couldn’t help but think her bright smile would melt the ice before you learned the hang of ice skating.

Years after playing the original Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life the love for this series was renewed in me with the release of its update - Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life . And boy, let me tell you I still love Celia! She is just too sweet and wholesome. Also Getting to see the wedding cutscene stole my heart. So here is my take on that cutscene.
