Lloyd at his grown age would drag Sora, Arin, Wyldfyre, Riyu and any of the ninja that are around to a fireworks display only to buy the plastic lightsabers that light up to start swinging it around like a five year old.
Bonus he would make Sora wear those light up heart headbands they sell during them too, and Wyldfyre would be given the light up heart wands and she would start aggressively trying to cast spells. Kai would end up finding where the fireworks are being lit and lights them early, Nya is on the opposite side of original fireworks lighting up better ones to cope, and Zane would try to launch himself as a firework whilst Cole wonders of he should help him or stop him. Geo makes the canon to shoot, and Arin accidentally end up with fireworks attached to him as he helps Nya.
Lloyd believes they should go again next year. Cole and Sora seriously disagree.

Fireworks
((Right so EnergyTwist is canon now. Oof. It’s a crackship but I don’t care. This is super long, please enjoy it))
The coffee shop was small and bustling, the ninja crowded around a small table together, elbows bumping.
“Even I’m uncomfortable,” Jay muttered, his knee bouncing excessively.
“Why can’t we just leave?”
Almost as if on cue, the waitress came over and began taking their orders, but Lloyd leaned back, his eyes on a Serpentine in the back.
A Constrictai, she was deep black, her arms grey and finger gloved. Orange horns and a stripe down her middle, her eyes bright green.
Pretty.
“May!”
At that moment the snake turned around and caught sight of the purple ninja, who raised an arm and waved, the others watching as she slithered over.
"This is my friend Luna," May introduced, and Luna waved happily at them.
"We met in the Serpentine hub when we were learning the curse of the golden master."
Lloyd tuned out the others, eyes only on Luna.
She seemed so much nicer than all the other employees, and seemed strong. Eventually, they finished their coffees, said their goodbyes and left.
That night, the Master of Energy lay awake, staring at the ceiling in the cool summer air. He tossed and turned, his pale blond hair tangling with all the movement.
Sitting up with a huff, he walked over to the window and sat down in it, looking down on the cars that drove past their apartment.
His feelings were confusing.
After what happened with Harumi, he shouldn't like anyone. And yet this one was different. Literally. You can't like a snake, right?
Oh well. Maybe the feeling would be gone in the morning.
"You didn't sleep very well, did you?"
Lloyd peered over his cereal at Kai the next morning, his spoon suspended mid-way to his mouth.
"No, how could you tell?"
Kai took a bite of waffle before pointing his fork at Lloyd.
"I know everything," he remarked, but when he brought his hand back down, it struck the side of his plate and his waffles soared onto the floor.
Ignoring Kai's cries of dismay, Lloyd pushed his chair out and headed out the door.
From that day on, he visited the coffee shop everyday. Every time, he'd order the exact same thing, until all he had to do was shoot Luna a smile and she'd get him his order.
And every day, the odd feeling inside him grew stronger.
He found his face would go red every time Luna laughed, or how he started to know her schedule by heart.
Lloyd didn't know what to make of himself.
One particular sunny morning, he walked in as usual and shot her the normal grin.
"Let me guess," Luna sighed, leaning across the counter and her tail swishing.
"You want a slice of pizza."
Lloyd put on a fake face of shock, gasping with extreme bravado.
"It's like you read my mind!"
Luna giggled, and he blushed.
This was what friends do, right?
The Constrictai handed him his coffee and shot him a wink.
Walking out, Lloyd noticed instead of his name, it was Luna's. With a phone number underneath.
Lloyds heart skipped.
She gave him her number.
They soon started texting each other, staying late up into the night to do so. Luna would send him pictures of small things she found, and Lloyd would smile at her goodnight messages before he went to sleep.
"That's not how normal people talk, Lloyd!"
He paced back and forth in front of his mirror, practicing what he was going to say. He had finally decided to act on his feelings, and was going to ask Luna on a date.
"Oh, who am I kidding," he groaned, and threw himself face down onto his bed.
"It's not like she likes me anyway.."
Huffing, he flipped over onto his back, feeling helpless in all forms. Restless, he ran his hands through his hair, tugging on them in an attempt to wake himself to reality.
Just then his phone buzzed, reaching over and picking it up, he saw it was from Luna.
"Hey, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come see the fireworks with me tonight, at 9? I'll pay for snacks."
Lloyd gripped his phone so tightly it almost cracked.
"Yeah, no problem."
When the message was sent, he threw himself back down and let out a silent cry of jubilation.
"Pretty, aren't they?"
The fireworks exploded in the sky in beautiful splashes of colour, illuminating the two figures with soft glows.
Bold and brilliant purples and blues illuminated the space above, glowing with an ambience that could not be topped. Scattered everywhere were bright stars, burning brightly as the moon itself, which hung high in its half moon state.
Luna smiled warmly at Lloyd, her spikes fluorescent and neon orange in the night.
"Yeah, it is."
Lloyd rubbed the back of his neck, attempting to ignore the fact his face was burning.
They walked home together, Luna slithering silently on the sidewalk and Lloyd's sneakers scuffing.
They reached the door, and Lloyd leaned against the wall, his hands in his pockets.
"Before I go inside, I just wanna say that tonight was amazing and I..."
He stammered over his words, becoming less and less coherent as he spoke, before Luna laughed quietly.
"If you want to ask me out you can just say so," she interrupted his stutters.
"W-what?"
Smiling, Luna leaned forward and kissed him ever so softly, booping his nose as she did so.
"See you at the shop tomorrow," and she left Lloyd standing at the door, grinning like an idiot.

NS8 SoG spoilers
Ok there’s a lot I loved about the first episode but let me just say this for now
I reeeeeallly don’t trust the royal family? I mean…
Why stay hidden after all this time, even after all those world-threatening events (Zane’s still titanium so I’m assuming the Overlord’s attacks still happened)
So why come out right now? They only act when they could directly be in danger?
^That’s kinda selfish at best, but also really contradictory. If they think someone is after the mask or out to harm them, why would they put themselves in danger by opening up to the public and making a big speech? Where some fireworks conveniently left in the middle of a crowd went off right after a SoG balloon was shown?
And why would they need the ninja specifically to protect them? Their guards should be enough against a few motorcycle gang members, unless they especially called the ninja (who are connected to the SoG because of Lloyd) for another reason
The ninja are already suspicious of Hutchins, but this could just be to fool us into overlooking the royal family’s shadiness. Although, Hutchin’s shadiness is so blatant it could end up being more surprising that he’s the evil one. Writer’s bluff or double bluff??
Hutchins bows his head when the Emperor explains why they summoned the ninja, is he plotting something or does he know something about the royal family they don’t want the ninja to know?
What if telling Lloyd to stay away from Harumi was actually a warning? Maybe he’s acting all shady because he’s actually good and is planning to sabotage the royal family’s plans, but doesn’t know whether he can trust the ninja yet? Or maybe he’s just evil. Or neither are evil and there’s a misunderstanding, idk
Nya has a point, they’re a big rich family but do nothing; they’ve never even tried to connect with the people of their country before, why start now?
That product video with Harumi and Lloyd obviously. Maybe the royal family aren’t evil and Harumi just goes too far trying to get her vengeance on the SoG after the palace is attacked?
THE ROYAL FAMILY HAS THE MASK OF DECEPTION
