Yesterday unfortunately found out about the ending of hwd alive and since that i am torn.

As this one seems to be published after "alive" this might ease my pain 🙏🏻😅 so I would ne very glad if you could answer me.

I am really in a shock about the ending of "alive" and just don t unerstand why Nitta did this because it was very unneccassary imo.

Maybe you can "save" me

It's more of her attempt at giving her fans closer but also a way to continue and connect the stories she told before in Fuyu no Semi and vol. 7-11 of this series with Iwaki and Katou.

Below is a link to the full English translation of the AFTER story. Nitta talked about how she played with the themes of reincarnation throughout the series on her twitter account and this story shows that but also other themes as well. (some of these themes that I'm not a personal fan of but were still hinted at throughout the series)

Reading this story did give me some closure but I was already at peace and content with the ending by the time the English translation had come out, but I do hope that reading it can put your anguishing heart at ease.

Iwaki: The best part is the dessert.

[A few minutes later; Antonio and another server return with two more plates.]

Server 1: How was your meal?

Katou: Delicious.

Recently, in attempt to catch up on yaoi/shounen-ai animes/ovas I have missed out on over the years, I started watching all the ones I could get my hands on, plus re-watching old ones. I hadn’t seen Winter Cicada, or heard of it before. Which is funny, because I have seen Haru wo Daite Ita more than once :D I literally FELL IN LOVE with Winter Cicada. I fell in love with the characters, I fell in love with the story, I fell in love with the art, I fell in love with everything in this Ova. In my opinion, this is one of the best yaoi/shounen ai I have ever seen. I literally cried and couldn’t shake off the sad feeling for days after. I wish to be able to experience more animes/ovas like this one.

After years. YEARS!!!! of fantasizing, dreaming, thinking, writing, creating them having children SHE actually makes it a reality. And it's a BOY! I always knew that their first would be a boy.

This summer cicada was a very touching farewell letter to Katou Youji and Iwaki Kyousuke. It brought a tender smile to see this beautiful love story get its PERFECT happy ending. And in more ways than one.

Seeing them live multiple lives together, with most of them ending as a bittersweet tragedy, it brings me peace of mind to know that they are meant to spend eternity together. A love that transcends time, and now the stars.

I wanted to pick Junjou Romantica cuz it's the funniest, but Haru wo Daite Ita.... Incredible. Fuyu no Semi made me cryyyy. Same with Ai no Kusabi--that's my very first yaoi love.
