Chapter 1- Birthday

Y/n pov

The husky is by the door looking at me with a crow on it's head.

'Ok... I'm fine... this is fine... I just-... have to make them okay with me going to UA... How hard can it be?'

I was passing around my room while thinking 'HOW THE FUCK, I'm convincing mom and dad that is okay for me to go to UA? Since they both really really REALLY don't want me to become a hero... DAMN THEY DIDN'T EVEN LET ME USE THIS DAMN WINGS!!!'

Haru (the husky) is wagging her tail, while Void is just sitting in her head almost a sleep

'WHO AM I KIDDING??? Maybe they will cut out my wings this time... or maybe they will put bars on all windows, or maybe-'

"Y/n! Get that sweet ass here honey! Breakfast is ready!" I stop passing around the room.

Mom called... better tuck in my wings before going down...

"COMING, JUST NEED A FEW MORE MINUTES"

"Okay! But don't take too long, I made your fav!"

'Sweet! F/b! (Favorite breakfast)'

I stay in the front of the mirror and smile at my bright yellow wings, Haru sits behind me with Void still on her head.

"Ok babies time to tuck you in"

I fold my wings the best I can, the rest goes around me like a dress.

'Just need to tie the now...'

I take the bandages that Haru got for me and tie them.

I put the dress on and see that the feathers are coming out from the bottom of my thigh high f/c (fav color) dress, Haru sniff then.

'Damn it! They just keep growing! It was easier when I was little.... ok... now what?'

I stare at the mirror for a few seconds then I smile, Haru sees me smile and start to wag her tail.

"I'm such a dumbass! How didn't I think of that earlier??" Haru barks at that. "Hey! You weren't suppose to agree with me!"

All the feather that are showing start to fly alone, and one by one goes in a pile on my bed, Void goes to the pile of feathers and lay down on them.

"There! Now it's better!" I smile at the mirror, then I look at my crow "HEY! THAT IS NOT A NEST! Those are MY feathers!" He just looks at me in the eyes and turn his back to me "You are lucky that you are cute!" I go back to look in a mirror.

'It's me! But... I'm kinda bland looking without them... just like mom n' dad... I hope they don't start talking about cutting them again...'

I fix my h/l (hair length) h/c (hair color) leaving it down and natural.

"If I have to go there to get that ass-!!"

"I'm coming mom! Haru stay here and take care of my things ok? Void you are in charge" I kiss their heads and run down the stairs and go to the kitchen, when I get there I smell pancakes and f/b. Mom is setting the table ready for us 3, her long blond hair is in a bun while she is with her back to me.

"Oh my god! It smells so good!" I sit at the table and look down at my f/b. "Thank you mom love u!" I kiss her cheek and go down to eat it, really fast.

"Slow down bunny! No one is gonna steal your food" mom laughs and sits down at my right to eat her pancakes and drink her coffee.

"So bunny! What do you want as a present? You said that you wanted to ask us on your birthday, I hope your dad says yes to you bunny" she caresses my cheek and give it a few kisses.

"Hehehe! Better to ask it when he's here, so I don't have to repeat it"

"That's fine bun I understand"

We eat in peace until we heard dad getting out of the shower and coming two the stairs.

He gets in the kitchen with his blond locks wets and smile looking at me.

"Good morning birthday girl!" He comes to me and kiss the top of my head then go to sit down in front of me while mom is at my right "You said you wanted to make a request for your birthday sweetie, so go on and request it! I'm going to do my best to accomplished it! Promise!" He gets himself a cup of coffee. "And you know that my word is very valuable!"

"Please don't be another pet! You already have a crow and a dog, if you ask for a cat I swear to god that Ima beat that ass!" She says while laughing.

"Hahahaha! I would like to see that!" Dad laughs, then he looks into my e/c (eye color) eyes and smiles "go on! Tell us what you want" he holds mom's hand in his, and they both look at me smiling.

"I-I...."

'Calm down... you can do it! Tell them! "I WANT TO BE A HERO" '

"I want to..."

'Yes! Just like that and-...and.... ugh! I can't do it... I just can't with them looking at me like that... so... happy I don't want them to stop loving me'

"I... want to go to U.A...."

The ambiance in the room gets heavy, they both stop smiling and look at me with a face that I can't describe... maybe it was fear or hate... maybe both.

"B-but don't worry! I don't want to become a hero!"

"Or a healer or the people that do the gadgets?" Mom asks while looking at me with the most serious face she ever did.

"No! Not that either! I just-... since I can't become a hero myself I want to at least be near the people that will become one... I just want to be part of it even-... even if it's as a background character..." I look at my empty plate letting my head down.

The ambiance is so heavy... I feel their eyes on me like I'm prey...

"Go to your room" dad says with a deep and commending voice.

"W-what?" I look at him in shock "you won't even consider it?!"

"Don't make me repeat myself young lady!" He slams his fist in the table.

I look at him in disbelief, mom didn't say a word, but her eyes were sad.

"B-but dad! Please listen! I feel so lonely!" My eyes are stinging since I'm holding back the tears

"You have your pets to keep you company!"

I stand up dropping the chair. "But they can't answer me! They are just there! I know that the make company but that don't suffice it! I want friends dad! Real friends! To laugh with me, to make me sad, to make me angry! I'm so lonely!" I can't hold it back anymore... I started crying "I feel so empty... Please dad! Let me go there, I will do anything! I will never ask for anything ever again, I will do all the shores, I'll always stay quiet. Please let me go, I'm begging you!"

He stays looking at me with that face... That face that I couldn't describes is now very clear of what it is...

Disgust.

"You are no child of mine." he got up and left the house without saying another word.

I look at my mom for support and I see... nothing... no tears, no emotion, nothing besides... disappointment and regret.

"You want so much to go there and be like that good for nothing.... thing that has my blood? Then go, we won't stop you since you are no longer part of this family" she gets up and go to follow dad but stop at the door "I should never have given birth to you or your brother, you both are hopeless" then she goes... her and da-... her and f/n (father's name) goes out of the house.

I can hear the car going on, and they're going out, then I do what any other teen would do...

. . . . . . . . . . . . . I cry

Y/n wings are like a mood ring, they change colors with her feelings.
