Why is it SO fun writing from the villain's POV?

I need to finish my WIPs, but here I am, writing 10k words about Voldemort unleashing terror on his Death Eaters for my tomarrymort fic.

Anyway, I intend to post this fic with at least five chapters, and it will be a long one (as all my fics tend to be).

It's a fever dream born from my frustration at never having had a hot teacher (yes, Professor Riddle is on his way to torment poor Harry 😏)

Jokes on me, I actually made designs for it cause I cant be normal apparently :)

Designs for an idea of a fic I have that I might actually write if people are interested.

Harry's hair is usually up and/or braided by Teddy. He left a beard cause he felt it made him more mature, and he pierced his ear to copy Bill.

Voldemort got send back with no clothes on so he has to wear Harry's enlarged hoodies and it's his newfound reason for hating him. He has some hair coming in after being "alive" again that he tries to get rid of but they come back again.

Teddy is just being cute and enjoying the chaos of living with these two. He likes to think that he gained a weird grumpy uncle that thankfully can't harm anyone but himself.

“What in Merlin’s name are you doing, Potter?”

Voldemort watched him, leaning against the doorway of little Harry’s bedroom. Harry, big Harry that was, had to admit that Voldemort did look much nicer this way. The way his shirt sleeves were rolled up drew Harry’s eyes right to the pale skin of his forearms and his trousers certainly helped to accent certain assets.

“Are you attempting to diffuse a bomb?” Voldemort asked, drawing Harry’s attention back to the screaming toddler he was holding.

“Kind of feels that way.” No matter what he did, Harry wouldn’t stop crying. Maybe the cupboard had muffling charms and that’s why his aunt and uncle shoved him in there, he thought and then immediately felt awful. “Smells that way too.” Harry let out a huff. “He just won’t stop crying. He hates me.”

“Of course he hates you. How would you like it if someone was holding you by your arms?”

“I mean…”

Voldemort rolled his eyes and stepped into the room, plucking little Harry from Harry’s hands.

“Your older self is an idiot,” the Dark Lord said disparagingly, and Little Harry giggled as he calmed down. Figures that he liked Voldemort better. Traitor. Voldemort looked back up. “How is it, between the two of us, that I’m the one with the experience dealing with children?”
