Dearest PopGirls,

I'm beyond proud to finally present Mink's official guide to Parseltongue, created with the invaluable help of @creature-of-insomnia . This guide wouldn't be what it is without Ana; I couldn't have done it without her.

We've both worked incredibly hard to develop the Parseltongue language, not only for my story but also for you, dear readers. Now, instead of relying on mindless hissing or made-up words, you have a structured language to use in your fanfictions. The guide draws from the Parseltongue used in the films and is influenced by Greek words. Unlike the existing Parseltongue alphabets I've seen on the internet, which feel unrealistic and are often just based on the English alphabet, as well as entirely too long to be used in actual sentences, we've crafted something authentic and concise — something that can be used naturally in sentences.

It fills me with immense joy to finally share this with you all. I'm incredibly proud of what we've created.

The majority of the spreadsheet is complete, although me and Ana are still working hard on it to be as perfect as it can be.

My only request is that you give credit if you use it in your fanfics. If you'd like to contribute by suggesting words you'd like to see in this guide, please feel free to comment, and I'll do my best to add them.

A re-write of the books

Summary:

Harry Potter is sorted into the house of Slytherin and becomes best friends with Draco Malfoy. Together, they explore the dangers lurking around every corner and the dark truths about themselves, navigating their strange lives with only the trust of each other as their lives spiral rapidly out of control. But even then, will their unwavering loyalty to each other be enough to keep them together, or will the forces of fate eventually have its way with them?

idk if you will see it but I really REALLY want to read your ‘The Red MeansI love you’ series but I only read bottom Draco (as I should bc it’s biblically accurate idc) but it doesn’t have a tag associated with that matter yet. Looking into your previous stories I assume bottom Draco has you in the same chokehold that is has me. But I don’t want to start reading and getting SO invested in something I will abandon because it will turn into something I don’t enjoy *bottom harry* I’ve been there a few times before and abandoning a story after finding bottom harry is always necessary but also kinda heartbreaking so I just wanted to make sure.

Sorry if my question bothers you! I know a lot of people tend to get offended after this kind of questions but I think -at least for me- these are as important as warnings! If you rather not answer that also entirely fine I just will assume your series is out of my comfort zone and I will just drive deeper into your previous ones because they are really spicy and good!

I PROMISE it will eventually be Top!Harry and Bottom!Draco, as the good Lord intended for all drarry to be🙏

I might dabble with a TINY bit of switching in book 6 or 7, like maybe once because they're curious and love fucking each other 💀but Harry will ultimately prefer topping.

I WILL TAG THE DYNAMIC AND IF THERE IS ANY SWITCHING. But as I said, it will probably be only one time they switch. And if there is switching, I will put a disclaimer in the top notes beforehand so people can just skip over it of they want to, cuz I know I don't wanna be reading switching sometimes.

I hope that's all clear! I really appreciate you taking the time to ask me, and I feel so honoured that you want to read my series. All my Drarry fics are Top!Harry x Bottom!Draco, unless I explicitly say otherwise in the tags or notes. The reason I didn't tag it in TRMILY is because there is no smut yet and I didn't want it to be misleading, but there will be smut, maybe as early as book 5, but certainly in 6&7.
