Harpy's Lake Gem

The moon was up, its rays casting over the forest where mythical creatures resided in, illuminaring the landscape with its its gentle touch. The forest that held mysteries no human could solve, a puzzle too difficult for the human mind to complete. A foreign, but also familiar space for many who travel across the land to find the place.

Those who entered never came back. Many went missing upon entering the forest, many remains left out by the borders- a warning to any who dare to try to enter the forest without permission. Be it an arm or any other limb or a corpse, it didn't matter. It was still a warning.

But deep in the forest, a lake stood proud in the open in the heart of the forest. Its surface shone like gems, the water calm and at peace. The moonlight caressed the precious surface with care and a gentleness no one knew about. But as gorgeous as it looks from above and on land, there was a sinister aura that lurked beneath the surface- hidden from anyone by the facade of the innocent surface of the water.

The most deaths of humans occured here, in the heart of the forest, where no one would ever find the remains- gone and nowhere to be seen or to find their way out of this place. The lake was a trap- a deathtrap that had worked succesfully for the creature that resided in the lake it called home. It lured the next victims by just its voice alone, a song that no one could resist and follow.

A seastack on the far side, close to shore, sat comfortably with the water gently lapping at it. Ontop sat the cause of all the missing people that dared to enter the forest, right into its webbed hands.

A Siren.

Mythical creatures with the lower half of a fish and the upper half of a man, beings sailors told tales of- with a taste and appitite for human flesh, an appitite no human could understand. Its beauty hid away the sinister side deep beneath the surface. The beauty of the creature used to trick mankind, a facade to disguise their true intentions from mankind- violent beasts that drowned man for its own pleasures and needs. Sometimes feasting on the corpses of the victims it drowned.

The siren on the seastack had a beautiful tail as blue as sapphire stones with white diamond-shaped dots on the sides, the fins a transluscent baby blue colour, hair as black as a raven's with hints of almost invisble blue hues under the moon, dark blue eyes that pulled many in their gaze, fins acting like ears the same colour as the tail, the fingers a light blue colour that spread up to the elbow, claws a beautiful dark blue and webbing white, the upper torso covered in robes of red with a checkered pattern consisting of green and yellow.

The scales reflected the moonlight that caressed them, giving off a faint glow from the tail. It made the creature not only look majestic but also gorgeous and etheral, a beauty no one could take their eyes off of. A mask crafted over thousands of years to perfect the beauty.

The gentle sound of a song escaped its throat, sounding masculine in comparison to most feminine songs sung by the normal female sirens. Thus being identified as a male siren, a rare sight to behold as thete are few left in the world.

The fins on his head twitched as he heard something, another creature that he was all too familiar with. Someone the siren knew and had been friends with im the past, despite their historical rivalry, the wars both of these two mythical creatures had for thousands and thousands of years.

The siren turned his head slightly to look behind him, seeing all-too-familiar bird talons clutching onto the hard ricky surface, latched onto the stone to ensure that they don't let the creature slip off. He looked up, seeing a familiar face he had grown used to.

White hair that illuminated silver when light caressed the strands, purple eyes that glared daggers at him, scars on the face and lips formed into a frown. Dark green armour covered the chest, a black shirt underneath, a cloth of sorts hanging from the sides and tied to its waist, dark green pants that stopped right above the knee where the bird feet began to form. Black wings with white feathers at the edges, the tail matching the colour scheme of the wings. Green streaks right by the cheeks, feathers placed on either side where human ears would be acted as the ears.

" Shinazugawa-san."

" Tomioka."

The voice of the creature was a lot deeper and rough, as if it ate sand for breakfast instead of its preferred food. The hint of venom in the tone gave the siren, dubbed as Tomioka, an insight to what the creature wanted.

It wanted him for something, and that something he was unsure of. He couldn't place a clawed finger on what the winged creature wanted. And that creature was an expert at aerial hunting.

A Harpy.

Winged beasts with the lower half of a bird while the upper half was a human, arms replaced by wings larger than a human's body. Maybe larger than two humans stacked on each other. They came in many shapes and sizes, but they took on the species of any predatory bird. Their excellent aerial control in the air was phenomenal and more executed than any bird, surprassing their bird of prey counterparts.

" Is there something you need?"

The siren asked softly, a curious glint evident in the blue orbs that watched the Harpy with caution. He was aware that he was a delicacy for these aerial predators, nothing but a meal to them. He had to tread carefully if he didn't want to become Harpy food. However, he was unsure if the Harpy viewed him as a food source, seeing as he- identified by the masculine voice- never laid a talon on him.

" Does Kagaya-san need us in his presence?"

" No,"

The Harpy lowered his upper torso, bending it to be on eye level with the aquatic being.

" he does not need us in his presence."

Tomioka made a small frown, eyes squinted in confusion at the words that left Shinazugawa's- as Tomioka called him- mouth. The confusion did not leave his features, not until a talon pinned him against the rock, on his back. His back arched from the sudden contact of the cold surface, eyes widened as they stared at the purple ones that glared at him.

" It is you."

" What are-"

" It's your late night swimming that irritates me."

" Shinazu-"

" NO! Every time I patrol, I always see you swimming late at night!"

His jaws clenched in anger, body shaking with rage.

" And tonight is NO different! You think I don't notice the smallest of hints that you have insomnia?! Or the details like the dark circles under your eyes known as eyebags?!"

He growled, snarling at the being under his taloned foot, wings opened slightly to prove his point, to imply what he meant by his words. Tomioka just stared at him in disbelief, as if the Harpy had said that he had commited a crime...

" Don't try to hide it! I can see it from a mile away! Even Iguro can smell it from a mile away!"

" Sh-"

" No-! I am DONE watching you swim late at night when Iguro and I are on patrol!"

The pressure on the Siren's chest increased, before he was lifted up, off of the cold floor as his tail laid limp on the ground beneath. He had never seen the Harpy this irritated before, let alone concerned for his wellbeing. A warmth blossomed in his chest at the thought of someone caring for him.

" And I am going to do something about it."

He said dangerously low, above a whisper and his voice dripped with anger. Not only that, but the talons brought his face closer to Shinaguzawa's.

Before he could say anything, the lips in front of him parted, reavealing a cavern of flesh. Strands of saliva clung on the roof an anywhere it could cling onto, a tongue slipped out to give him a taste. He didn't react to it, however, as his attention was drawn to the pearly white teeth that were sharp and could snap him in half, crush bone. He was in a state of shock, not able to tell his body to move as it failed to co-operate with him.

It closed in front of him, and he stared at Shinazugawa wide-eyed.

" You taste better than I expected."

The Harpy murmured, tilting his head to the side, squinting his eyes in glee, something the Siren never saw.

Before long, the Harpy tilted his head straight and licked his lips. He- he wasn't going to- right? Tomioka felt a wave of panic hit him like a ton of bricks, a slap across the face full force.

The maw opened again and this time, his head was placed inside. He wanted to struggle, to scream and cry out for help, but his body refused, still in shock and trying to process what was going on.

It was warm, very warm. The humid air inside messed with his gills, threatening him to gasp for air a lot nicer than the dry air he was forced to inhale-! But he didn't, he couldn't. His body didn't belong to him as he was swallowed, body sliding down the now tight tube with ease like he was nothing. As if he was a small fish that slid down the throat of a crocodile... His skin got irritated by the dry air, unable to handle the warmth the air inside the Harpy provided. It was unbearable, and quite itchy.

By the time he got his body to struggle, it was too late as his head slipped into a roomier organ, the rest of his body following soon after.

It was hot, humid and with a liquid that filled tbe organ, stopping the itching he felt on his skin and scales. He panicked, body jerking away at the sudden pressure on his back. His eyes wide as realization of where he was dawned on him. He was in Shinaguzawa's stomach, a place he feared the most.

" Shinazugawa-san! Let me out!"

He panicked, body about ready to hyperventilate as the shock wore off, adrenaline the new booster to help his body to hyperventilate. His body shook.

" Let me out! Please! I beg of you!"

He yelled, trembling as his eyes were blurred by the tears that formed, jerking as a sob left his form. He held his head with both webbed hands, covering his finned ears that flattened against his head and closed his eyes, gritting his teeth. The waterfall got out of the walls known as tear ducts.

" Please- please Sanemi! Please! Pleasepleasepleaseplease-"

He repeated, unable to do anything but beg Sanemi to let him go, to not let him die in this place other sirens had died.

He stared at his middle in shock, where his hand would've been if he had human arms rested on the slightly bulged area his "meal" was in, begging for his life to be spared, pleading.

Did- did he not realize that he... oh no-! Oh nomonononono! He didn't-

Panic enveloped his body when he was called by his first name. Did his insomnia affect him to the point of not thinking rationally? That him and Tomioka were a thing? This- oh god... The thought of digesting a living creature and his mate alone made him sick.

He rubbed his middle, trying to soothe and calm the the hyperventilating Siren down as best as he could while he hummed.

" Hey- hey-! It's okay! It's okay!"

He wanted to calm down his poor mate, tried to reassure him that he was not in any danger- that they have done this before with comforting words! But they didn't leave his throat after he spoke or tried to speak again. The words evaporated from the tip of his tongue.

All he could do was push thrpugh it all and just head back to his place located on a massive and broad seastack where a cave was.

He opened his wings and crouched down, jumping in the air and took off, heading back to his cave- his home. He couldn't use words to calm Tomioka down... he'll just hope that he realizes that he is safe-

His feathered ears twitched as he heard shaky breathes, the heartrate of the siren inside the organ slow and at a pace he was familiar with- that he grew fond of. He sighed in relief, in time to land gracefully on the edge of the cave.

His talons scraped against the stone beneath them as he entered, checking his surroundings to make sure that nothing was out of the ordinary. Besides Genya sleeping in the mest he built for him.

It was a long night, and restless one. He was tired, wanting to gain energy for what the next day wpuld bring. He stopped in his tracks and laid down like a bird, eyes closing as he focused on the weight in his crop. He'll rest his eyes for a few minutes... It wouldn't kill anyone if he rested a little, right?

And so, he dosed off, joining his brother and Giyu in dreamland where everything that had happened was nothing more than an old and bad memory.

A Rock And A Hard Place Part 1 Meeting

All you wanted was to just do your job and go home at the end of the day. But no. Instead you get stuck between a rock and a hard place.

This is inspired by @melon-cream-enmu Demon Slayer Breeding Program Au. (Warnings: Their blog does contain NSFW elements and themes that not everyone may like or be comfortable with. Just a heads up. But this WILL STAY Sfw.) I did ask if they were fine with someone writing drabbles inspired by their au before writing this, and they mentioned that they were fine. This is probably not gonna have a lot of chapters and it's from the perspective of a female reader.

"....You want me to do WHAT?!"

"Oh, c'mon. It's not even that bad."

You know..you were expecting a lot of things. But being bait for your bosses' pet projects wasn't it!!

As one of the janitors of the facility you sometimes clean up the cells where they kept the creatures. You never paid them attention. You were more interested in going in, doing your job, and then going home at the end of the day just to cash in your paycheck at the end of the week. You didn't care what these scientists are doing and it wasn't any of your business so you just kept your nose where it belonged and just did what you were paid to do, which was to clean. But that made it hard to do when THOSE things started to be shoved into their cells. They always made messes. Mostly tossing around objects, breaking things, and depending on the demon, left behind blood, drool, and sometimes lots of fur or feathers...As said it all depended on the demon. 

You thought you heard the scientists call most of them by numbers such as 'the Swamp Demon' or something along those lines but you never bothered to pay too much attention to it. You were only paid to clean around here and nothing else. Which included going into those cells when the scientists took out their demons (usually after knocking them unconscious) and getting them cleaned up before they put the creatures back inside. On one such day it was business as usual. One of the scientists (Doctor Shinobu you think) brought out one of those creatures, the one that looked like a giant harpy thing and you were tasked with cleaning out his cell before he came back. It wasn't too bad. At least this creature didn't leave a trail behind it like that swamp one did thing did. It was a quick job wheeling your cart over and beginning the familiar process of sweeping, mopping, and then taking your spray bottle and cloth to start wiping at the giant reinforced window looking into the cell. Your boss's always stressed to you the importance of making sure these windows were clean at all times to allow the scientists and security clear view of the creatures. Despite how BIG each cell was with some being the size of three whole houses, there was minimal clean up You had to do. They were mostly like giant enclosures at the zoo with each one catering to each specific demon. This one in particular having a few trees and perches installed for the bird demon they sedated earlier. 

After a while it got pretty warm..Eh. You supposed you could spare to take off your mask and hazmat suit hood that was a part of the get up you were. It was a relief to take off the get up disguising your face and letting the air hit your face. With a sigh of relief you went back to sweeping a lot of shedded feathers along the floor. You were just wiping at the glass when you heard it for the first time.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

A strange tapping sound.  You paused before looking around the cell. No one was in here with you and it didn't seem like anything was loose or a draft was present... Shrugging you turned back to your work wiping off the big window from inside the cell before moving outside the cell to clean up the other side. The safe side to be honest. You were just wiping off the middle of the reinforced glass before you heard it again but much, MUCH louder than before.

TAP. TAP. TAP 

You again paused as the sounds came from literally right behind you....You debated whether or not to turn around-

T A P. T A P. T A P.

The increasingly amount of strength used to force those taps increased in strength startling you. An intense gaze made you shiver. There's been a few incidents here. So there was a strict rule that any non science or security staff was told to do at all times. Under absolutely no circumstances were you to engage with the demons. Whatever you do-

DO. NOT. ENGAGE.

Do NOT engage with the demons. Do not attempt contact. And if they try to intimidate or act out, you were to not engage. No one but the security and scientists were qualified to handle them. So you made a choice. You refused to turn around and just continued to work no matter what sounds were behind you. The sounds increased in tempo and volume for a solid few seconds but after about ten seconds of ignoring whatever it was it stopped entirely much to your relief. You were finished in minutes. Without giving another look back, you grabbed your cart and just pushed it away refusing to look behind you. 

The whole way you felt you were being watched.

It wasn't until almost three months later that the strange situation occurred again.

The harpy like demon was being released alongside a few other demons to make way for a few new ones. You were again tasked with cleaning out a few other cells, the old bird demon's cell included. You were again cleaning the window when you heard it. 

TAP! TAP! TAP!

Your body jumped startled and acted on its own. Your eyes looked through the window at the other side of the hall and nearly passed out from what you looked at eye to eye. A humanoid creature was staring at you from the cell just across from you, hands pressed against the glass and eyes blinking at you. You stared at it stunned and.. It knocked lightly on the glass making you jump and drop the cloth in your hand. But that's not what shocked you the most. 

The creature was strikingly beautiful.

A head of platinum silvery-blonde hair cascaded from the thing's head and a kolidescope of shining colors bored into your eyes from behind the reinforced glass lined with nicherin metal. Blue sharp nails tapped on the screen glass making you jump again at the sound and it seemed to find amusement in your actions tilting it's head at you. After a moment of staring further it ...

Smirked??

It smirked at you before smiling seductively and making a gesture for you to come over. An aura of that feeling you get like seeing your crush for the first time radiating off him-

Which was why it blinked in surprise when you scrunched up your noise at it in almost a disgusted look at him. 

"What the heck are you laughing at?" You asked it in annoyance. It slowly lost its smile blinking again. "Do you find my outfit funny? Good for you but guess what. I'm not the one stuck in there! So why don't you go eat a squirrel or whatever it is you do?"

Did it really think you looked that funny in this get up? Oh ha ha. It was bad enough you had to clean up after these things. You didn't need their criticism too.

"Go on and get outta here!

That's it. That's all you said. Keeping to your rule of do not engage and ignoring it in favor of finishing wiping the window. It didn't do anything else but you felt it watching you the entire time before you finished cleaning the other side of the window and walked away quickly just as one of the scientists were walking down the hall. He must've noticed your spooked look because he laughed making you stop to look at him. 

"So you met Stripes?"

You ended up looking at him. "Stripes?...What the heck is that?" You asked a bit muffled by your mask.

He chuckled at your expression. "He's one of the newcomers here. Some of the capture and release team brought him in the other week and put him right next to the room you just came out of." He nodded his flame colored hair down the hall. "He sometimes likes to scare us by running up to the window and hitting it."

"Why would he hit the window?"

"It's a sign of challenge. Some demons challenge others to fight by showing aggression. He usually does that to our male staff. He also tries to show dominance by acts of intimidation and more aggression. He seems to particularly do that a lot whenever he sees me specifically. Probably because I'm the first one he saw after bringing him here."

"Why do you call him 'Stripes'?"

"Because of the stripe patterns on his body. It makes it easier to tell them apart by giving them nicknames."

Your brow rose. "The one I saw didn't have any stripes." Again your voice said muffled by the mask you wore. "The one I saw had rainbow eyes. It was weird."

He froze staring at you stunned before blinking. "It...what?!" He seemed completely shocked at what you said before leaning over you. "You saw the ice demon?!"

"Saw him and already find him annoying. He kept banging on the dam window."

"It attempted to make contact?!" He leaned over you suddenly looking you up and down in your heavy duty baggie hazmat suit and mask leaning over you as he did so. You leaned back as the red headed man studied you intensely as if searching for something to explain the questions in his head. "But...How? Why? It's never attempted to make contact with any man in the facility."

At this your eyes narrowed at him in annoyance before both hands reached out and simultaneously in one motion, your hood was pulled down and the mask pulled off your face revealing your identity to the stunned scientist.

"Do I look like a man to you?!," you asked annoyed and now he could hear your voice clearly.

And he could clearly see that- "You are a woman?!"

"No shit!"

"But-..You-.." He again looked at you then down the white sterile hall towards the cells then back to you in disbelief. "How did you not get lured in by it's charming affect?"

You deadpanned looked at him before sighed. "Look, Sir-"

"Rengoku! Doctor Rengoku!!"

"Well, Doc. I don't really care about any demons or what you people research here. All I care about is doing my job and then going home to sleep." Your hand grabbed the cart again. "Now if you don't mind, I have like five other unoccupied cages to clean in a hot stuffy suit before I can even think about leaving and I haven't even had anything to eat yet so I'm not in the mood. So excuse me."

He still stared at you as you wheeled your squeaky cart away to the next cell that needed to be cleaned up. Leaving him just looking at your retreating form before humming and slowly looking back towards where she came from. Very interesting. Very ..VERY interesting. Safe to say when he saw Shinobu and the others later in the next staff meeting he brought up a very interesting new development.

The glass squeaked under your gloved hand as you pushed the cloth across the mirror in the women's bathroom polishing the reflective surfaces showing your tired reflection in the mirror as your worked. This was tiring. You supposed you were glad for the air conditioning the buildings had making wearing this get up more bearable but you still found yourself hating this stuffy old suit that was required with the job.  In your boss's words-

"It's to ensure your safety within the demon's cells in case they release toxins into the air. It's also to protect you from the harsh cleaning chemicals you'll be using to ensure the sterilization of the facility. Every other member of the cleaning staff has one too."

Still irritated you. You paused as the bathroom door opened and in walked a woman with purple eyes. You blinked at her reflection looking around before stopping on you with a smile and you sighed before turning around. Great. Just what you needed. Interference when you were trying to work.

"Sorry." You held up a hand voice muffled by the mask. Her head tilted at you. "The bathroom's closed until I finish cleaning. There's another bathroom two halls over though by the break room that should be open."

Instead of doing the obvious thing and leaving, she just smiled at you more. "Y/n?"

You paused hearing your name but blinked and nodded. "Yeah?? Who's asking?"

"Oh thank goodness." Her hands clasped together happily although you felt a bit weirded out. "It took me a while to find you! You know there's lots of janitorial staff running around here and the place is so large, but I finally managed to track you down."

"Uh...Good for you? I'm sorry. Is there something you want me for? If it's a mess you want me to clean them I'll be there in a moment-"

She proceeded to leave leaving you just confused. Who was that? By the fancy lab coat she wore, you supposed she was one of the professors here or part of the research department. Knowing those people, they wanted you to clean a mess in the labs or another demon cell. Sigh. Oh well. It's not like you were doing anything important after cleaning a bathroom anyways. You took your sweet time finishing up your work which roughly took thirty minutes. I'm truth you were kinda hoping she'd leave you to find another one of the janitors to clean up her mess but you were both surprised and disappointed seeing that the woman was still waiting for you outside in the hallway as you dragged out your cart. You looked at her ever smiling place before sighing.

"Alright. Where and what is it and how big of a mess do I have to clean up this time?"

She waved a hand. "Oh no. It doesn't involve any messes."

"Then what do you want me for?"

"I'm part of the research department. It's actually come to my attention that there's been an interesting new development concerning you and one of our subjects!"

"....In human talk?"

"One of the demons seemed to have taken quite an interest in you! You see we've been monitoring his activity for a while and every time you get assigned to that wing he gets more active now!"

"....And that's supposed to be important?"

Her smile strained a little bit. "YES. He's usually only active around girls but lately his activity around myself and other female doctors has decreased and increased when he sees you come by."

You rolled your eyes. "He just likes laughing at my suit."

"Maybe but we'd like to offer you a proposition!" You rose a brow at her. Proposition? "You'll be paid very well for it!"

Money? Your brows rose interested. "...I'm listening."

"We want you to volunteer for the M.C.M.A.R.R. section of our research group."

"Mc...What?"

"M.C.M.A.R.R! It stands for Mating, Courting, Marriage, and Relationships Research!," she explained to you holding up a finger. "There's been a new interest in how relationships built by demons affect their overall behavior. Whether it be familial or more codependent relationships. It shapes some of the demons own actions and behaviors."

"Ok. That makes sense. What does that have to do with me though?"

"That's the thing. M.C.M stands for Marriage, Courting, and Mating for a reason! We want you to volunteer for a new experiment we're trying out."

"Which is what exactly?"

"We want you to volunteer to become one of the demons items of romance!"

I’m glad I’m not the only one who decided to give Urogi a kid

In an au of my kny au, Urogi basically adopted one of my oc, who’s a demon slayer, a Tsuguko at that, but she’s not much into demon slaying, more into sealing dangerous yokais, and Urogi found it fun the first time he helped and now helps her every time she has a mission, he even calls her his kid, he lets her be on his back when he’s flying :)

He is FIERCELY protective of her, and believe me when I say that no one wants an angry Urogi after them.

So yeah, single dad harpy demon with a daughter he randomly found and adopted.

Urogi would be a good dad as well if it actually puts a small amount of seriousness into it. The clones don’t only feel their prime emotion. (Example: when Aizetsu sounded like he was going to tear Genya’s insides out when Genya shot him in the head. Aizetsu managed to get hotter in that scene.) So Urogi is able to be serious about things and one of those things would be his child if he ever had one.

Angel/Demon AU for TECHNICALLY AU August day 10.  I got it done right after bedtime last night and left edits for day 11 Amrynth.  Day 11 Amrynth did not appreciate this but did it anyway!  

I’ve done a demon au elsewhere so I went angel and absolutely based celestial Percy off of the designs of one @alienfirst 

So plot: Vex is trying to shoot a harpy for a job with the Slayer’s Take and ends up shooting Angel!Percy instead.  Woops.

Harpy Kyo HC

Just like Giyuu, kyojuro is VERY territorial. He haves a big family to protect and he just cant afford to take any chances. He shares his forest with Mitsuri.

Kyo lives in a redwoods forest. The trees have red, orange and yellow leaves all year round except for winter, that’s when hunting gets a lil’ tight. The color of these leaves help the Rengokus blend in their unique feather colors.

Kyojuro’s house is located at the top of the only mountain in the forest. They dont sleep on futons, they sleep on nest build with blankets, pillows, futons, sticks, leaves, bones and fur skin from their hunts.

Even as a harpy, they keep their birdy mating rituals. The owls just need to hunt the best of the best to prove they’re a good provider for a family to their potential mate, the Rengokus do this since its their owl-ly nature but they also partake in mating dances to impress and show off their unique feather colors. The Rengokus just show off their feathers and wings and do fire dances with poi! (Sparkle/charcoal poi & flame poi //yt)

He is one the strongest harpies in his species. Rengokus are also known for their born strength power, specially their sturdy legs. Rengokus are the second strongest ones after the “harpy eagle” harpies.

He loves cuddles and sleeping piles. When he returns from hunting or from missions, his family rush to him to greet him with platonic family affection. All of his kids just pile on him and end up in cuddle piles.

He hoots like owls, LOUD hoots, periodt. He only hoots to state his presence.

His strongest body part are his legs, once his claws are on you, don’t fight it, its over. His grip is a deadly one.

Harpys are EXTREAMLY dangerous creatures, so imagine how deadly the Rengoku’s are. A sound from them makes lower species of harpy puff their feathers in fear. They are known for their extreme torture/killing methods, they will rip you apart starting with gouging out your eyes.

Kyojuro is a demon slayer. He hates spending time away but he can trust his father and brother to protect their territory.

Kyojuro and Giyuu are good friends. Young Kyojuro was hunting and he caught young Giyuu (at this age, Giyuu was a koi merman), Kyojuro let him go and became friends and spent time together, Uzui tagging long! But Giyuu didn’t like Uzui much. They became demon slayers together and once Giyuu retired, they continue to be good friends from a distance.

His scent is a strong smell of wood and sun rays.

When he uses full wing potential, the tip of his wings set on fire. When he gets angry, his wings let out heat waves. He can control the warmth of his wings at command.

He is active 24/7 but more active at sundown.

SELF AU HC: He haves 4 kids of his own, 2 adopted phoenix harpy and he is uncle of Mitsuri’s kids

It's official. Your Rot Monster AU has successfully wormed its way into my brain and it's not leaving. Hope you don't mind more questions:

How did the Kamaboko Squad meet up in this AU, if at all? What kind of hijinks do they get into?

Can we get more backstory on the Shinazugawa brothers? How do an angel and demon end up as brothers? (I remember you saying that Sameni was selected to be an angel, but what about Genya?)

What's Muzan up to in this AU? I imagine similar bullshit as canon, but the existence of more monsters makes my mind go to darker places.

What are humans up to in this AU? I've snippets mentioning them, but nothing really concrete. Are the Ubuyashikis human, still running the Demon Slayer Corps?

I'll probably have more questions later.

(P.S. I have a fic for this AU in my WIP. Have no idea if it'll ever be done, but who knows?)

Hmm Tanjiro(Pheonix harpy), Nezuko(Corrupyed Pheonix harpy), Zenitsu(lung storm dragon) and Inosuke(either a boar troll or a boar faun) met the same way as in canon. Kanao(butterfly Fairy) was later introduced when the gang met the Angel rank (Sanemi, Shinobu and Gyomei tho Sanemi was missing, at this time he was long gone).

Genya was introduced once the gang was accepted and viewed as worthy in Sanemi’s eyes.

Hmm when the whole group is together, they usually do pretty tamed stuff. Most extreme stuff they’ve done is hunt not so powerful demons as a hunt game, they’re all pretty brutal creatures so they kill these demons in the most horrific ways possible.

Shinazugawa brothers, the angel cycle.

Sanemi was originally a dragon along with Genya. Angels are cherry picked by the corp, they get to decide who is worthy of such tittle since angels in this au are powerful warriors, battle machines and nothing more or less.

Sanemi was chosen to be an angel and was sent to the corp for training (like in the army! Once you’re recruited, they’ll take you to base to break you). When Sanemi came back from training, he found his family dead but luckily he wasn’t so late to save Genya but to his horror, Genya was feasting on their parents (who were infected with spores from a demon) and that made Genya turn into a dragon demon inmune to the spore’s mind control. //I’ll maybe get more in detail about this in the future.

Angels by default are demon slayers, they will destroy any corrupted being or malicious creature they come across but this was Genya, the only family he had left. So he kept him a secret in his temple. Sanemi raised his brother in secret from everyone until Kanae went to visit Sanemi with out consent, Genya thought it was Sanemi and the rest was a bloody mess.

Muzan

Hmm I have not yet settled anything for Muzan yet. I thought maybe Lucifer himself but very similar life style to the netflix series lucifer. Rich dude, very well known but not many know he is Muzan, the mf they after since he takes many form. But thats for now, we yet haven’t planned anything.

Humans

Humans are still present in this au. Very common actually, basically they’re just living their lives in villages snd being tormented by the monsters/creatures under Muzan’s hand.

But some have found certain creatures and considered them as gods, religious or worthy enough to offerings and gifts. Examples are Giyuu Tomioka(Water lung dragon), Douma(Kelpie) and Sabito(Forest/River Kitsune).

Also yes! The Ubuyashikis are still in control of the corps! They’re common humans but they’re honest and hard work has been respected and they’re all in debt with them (not in a bad way more like for example, Tomioka was taken under Urokodaki’s care which he was oart of the corp and Tomioka felt he owed the corp for their kindness)

If that made any senseee????? Tho Tomioka retires later on!
