So we went back. and needless to say, we did not reproduce past mistakes.
You'll be happy to know, Iva and Timu patched things up beautifully (it's easier when she's not jealous :)
next thing after his duties were dutifully done, i had Timu set up a garden in order for the family (not to starve) to be autosufficient! great hopes, i had.
THAT is what i'm talking about. you'll admit it's confusing. Oh well, she's still out for a while and the same issue presents itself: Vhra has all the fishes.
Once again, a batch of single mangos were purchased because 1) the familyfunds cheat don't seem to be willing to work and 2) since we have a good 10000$ on an offshore account we might as well use it to feed the clan.
They're back ON *fire emoji*
Vhra comes home at said time and since she had still some energy left i had her put it into the garden. These tomatoes ain't gonna grow themselves heh!
when she wakes, i have Iva join.
it's safe to say Iva hasn't grown out of her resentment yet.
Okay i really didn't want to give in to the easy way out, but they were literally one minute away from death from starvation AND no way in hell i could get anyone to cook the damn fishes. so i had Iva cook the clan... a bunch of -hem, historically accurate of course- toasts.
!! she didn't waste so much time, as soon as Iva got to cooking she slid herself to Timu's side. Bet the sheets were still warm from Iva xD fr you should both be ashamed.
Quality mommy-kiddo time, since apparently eating isn't everyone's top priority. *side eyes Timu and Vhra* (*that's debatable, now that you mention it... >;)
Rhan eats alone. i do have a soft spot for her, she's just... existing in the chaos around her, unattainable <3
Hapu wants to be social and gets close to Rhan.
He has something else coming.
mama bear still keeps an eye on hers, even from afar <3
But Rhan remains unbothered. she just cherishes her peace, much to Iva's satisfaction. She has enough on her plate with the blonde one.
all hands, however small, are welcomed ;)
Timu ran directly from the (one and only shower) waterfall to his kids' aid, in the most simple apparel.
Let the chaos begin:
long story short, i tried - and failed - to keep everyone from dying, but all the needs were deep in the red and a glitch kept me from tending to Vhra. I sent her to bed but she wouldn't go, and i didn't notice until i realized none of her needs went up (actually they went south)
She was about to pee herself so, i woke her up from a nap she'd just taken (poor thing) and queued the bush (restroom) and bed, hoping she'd make it without cancelling her Simgod's will!
also it's incredibly dark in there. good luck seeing anything, i know i don't xD

King of mangoes: It is lovingly known as Hapus or Hafoos
Ratnagiri Hafoos: Taste the Royalty of Mangoes. The Ratnagiri Hafoos Aam is a superstar! People all over the world love it. They are so good that many call it the King of Fruits. But did you know that some of the very best Alphonso comes from a special place called Ratnagiri? It's in Maharashtra, India, and the fruits grown in this region are famous for their fantastic taste and smell with thin skin.
Ratnagiri Hafoos Mango
Ratnagiri is located in Maharashtra's coastal region. This area is known for its laterite red stone and red soil, which meet the Indian Pacific Ocean. These conditions make it ideal for growing what many people think of as the best fruit.
King of mangoes: It is lovingly known as Hapus or Hafoos.
The fruit composition is always loved for its golden skin colour along wtih its mesmerising Aroma and taste.
Rich Aroma coupled with striking sweetness and taste of peach, Honey and buttery nature, along with balanced flavour.
Every mouthful feels like tropical sunshine in explosion form but leaves the tropic residual sweetness in the new blend.
Everything from the terrain to the taste associated with fruit. It is demonstrates how deep the roots of mango farming run in India.
What Makes Ratnagiri Hafoos So Special?
Best Mango Ever: Ratnagiri has the best soil, Hafoos, and culture. Everyone dreams of relocating there because the weather is perfect.
Sweet Aroma with fruit: The Aroma one mango leaves in your mouth makes it hard to resist having more.
It's sweet, and when you bite into it, then it's smooth, creamy, and buttery.
A Burst In Juiciness: Such fruits are a party for your taste buds their burst of juiciness will have your taste buds dancing. Keep a napkin close by when you eat one!
Enjoy Them Longer: If you store fruits properly in a ventilated place they will stay good. You can enjoy these fruits for longer than other types, at least 3 to 4 days from ripening.
A Mango with a Special Certificate!
The Hafoos mango is super delicious! But did you know it also has a unique certificate?
It's called a GI tag. GI stands for Geographical Indication.
This tag is like a prize. It shows that this type of Mango comes from a special place and has a unique taste.
It's like how Darjeeling tea is famous because it comes from a special place in India.
This Mango got its GI tag in 2019. This means that only honest Hafoos Aam from certain parts of India can use the name Alphonso. It's like a promise that you are getting the real deal!
A Portuguese Connection
You might wonder where the name "Alphonso" came from. It's an incredible story! A long time ago, a Portuguese explorer named Alphonso de Albuquerque came to India.
He was really good at grafting plants. Grafting is a unique way of growing plants. You take a part of one plant and attach it to another plant. It can make the fruit tastier or help it grow better.
Alphonso de Albuquerque helped create this amazing Mango by grafting it. He then helped bring it to other parts of the world, so they named the Mango after him!
How Alphonso Mangoes are Grown Today
Today, they are grown in a few unique places in the district of Konkan, India. Farmers take good care of the trees, making sure they get enough water and sunshine.
Our team fo farmers also protect the fruit from bugs and diseases.
When they are perfectly ripe, they are carefully picked and packed. This is how we enjoy such delicious mangoes!
Why is the GI Tag Important?
The GI tag helps protect this special Mango. It makes sure that only real Alphonso mangoes from those unique places are sold with that name.
It is like a license while selling for the people who grow the mangoes and for the people who love to eat them.
So it's a win-win situation for everyone for you as a customer it is authenticity of Origin.
Why Choose Ratnagiri Hafoos?
The Tastiest Mango: Many people say that no other mango tastes as good as Ratnagiri Hafoos! Once you try it, you'll understand why.
Healthy and Delicious: They are packed with vitamins and good things that keep your body strong and healthy.
There are so many ways to Enjoy them: You can eat them fresh or use them to make yummy things like smoothies, ice cream, and even sauces!
A Special Treat: In India, they are a special part of holidays and parties. They are a symbol of happiness and good times.
How to Enjoy Ratnagiri Hafoos
Eat it Fresh: The most straightforward way is often the best! Peel the fruit and enjoy its natural sweetness.
Make a Milkshake: Blend a ripe mango with milk and a little sugar for a refreshing and healthy drink.
Whip up some mango ice cream: It can be store-bought, but making your own mango ice cream adds a certain flair to a meal.
Salsa the southwestern way: An even better way to enjoy mango salsa is in a taco, with chips or even grilled fish. Nothing tastes better than food with an extra bit of heat.
Nothing beats a mango lassi, especially on a hot, sunny day. Globally, Indians love this lassi. As a popular refreshment drink made with creamy Hafoos and yoghurt, and they often enjoy it with savoury spices.
When is the Best Time to Enjoy Ratnagiri Hafoos?
These special aams are at their best from February to June in the first week. That's when they are the freshest and tastiest.
