It’s been a hard year to say the least, I’m thankful for nature, family, friends, animals, music and art. It’s @taylorswift ‘s birthday so here are a few pictures from the last year to help show my appreciation for her talent and the music that has helped me during the worst year. Losing my brother Tyler, my best friend, at only 26 years old last August crippled me and continues to cripple me every day. Music has helped me tremendously. The last picture of the post is one of the last pieces of art by my brother before he passed. It brings me joy and comfort seeing such a small man in a giant sea looking at peace. Listening to Marjorie and Happiness this week was a beautiful breakdown for me - I absolutely feel him with me constantly, yet I will miss him being here physically more than words forevermore. Happy Birthday Taylor - thank you for sharing your moments of grief and joy with me, I appreciate that vulnerability and selflessness more than I can express.

None of the words I will write now, will be enough to describe the endless love within me. Sometimes, while listening to a random Taylor song suddenly my eyes fill with tears and I start to cry. A single place where her voice cracks or a single sentence that I need to hear at that moment causes this, or even just the relief of having Taylor's music causes this. It is a very difficult art to truly exist. It is very difficult to find people who will understand you. It is very difficult to find someone who will hold your hand and guide you in your darkness. When everything is going bad and you are struggling every day with the unknown of what you want to do with your life, it is very difficult to find things that will keep you connected to life but these difficulties have disappeared since Taylor came into my life. Because Taylor and her art are always with me and I can feel that she loves me even if she doesn't know I exist. She is the biggest female artist in the world and everyone adore her and she deserves this love so much. But I find my bond with Taylor much more special and personal behind this crowd. It’s like Taylor knows my biggest wounds and heals them. Every day of my life I realize what a right decision I made in loving Taylor and I become more attached to her. She is the one who pulled me away from the cliff I stood on the edge of, the one who always helped me while searching for the right path, and the one who warmed me on the coldest days. Her existence heals not only me but millions of people who feel like me. She is our hero and today is that hero's birthday. Her birth changed our lives and the world. Happy birthday to you Taylor, the voice of all of us. We are infinitely lucky to have you.

If someone could go back and tell that little girl who really just loved to sing, or that teen who was just excited to be in the room, or even that young woman who had to disappear for a little while, where she would be today and what she would accomplish. I don't know you in person (yet) but through your music and actions I could see the brilliant, kind, sweet, cute, lover and special person you are. Couldn't be more proud of you and celebrate this day that is more than just another day on calendar.

Taylor, you are my role model of dreamer - the one who fights hard to accomplish things and don't let other people totally ruin your day (once writing down out feelings help us to heal and deal with the bad words). You are exactly the opposite of those artists I use to see at VH1 storytellers (yes I watched and also tried to understand why they rise and why they fell) and this is a huge thing for everyone who needs that sort of inspiration to not simply give up of "impossible" dreams.
