Eddie shakes his head as he walks into the bedroom to find Steve sitting at the foot, bare legs crossed demurely at the ankle, and wearing a sheet with two holes cut out for the eyes. “Stevie, what are you doing?”

“Sam isn’t a ghost in that scene. There’s no ghost sex in Ghost.”

Underneath, his face is powered white, eyes smoky and dark to make them look sunken into the sockets. And he’s wearing red panties that connect to a red choker at his neck. It looks like blood, makes Eddie flash to his nightmares of losing Steve, and he freezes, his breath coming in harsh, shallow gasps.

Steve picks up on the change in his scent immediately. He hurries to his feet, getting his arms around his mate. “Hey, babe, it’s okay. Robin said the makeup would sell it, you know? Committing to the bit. But I’m sorry, it’s too much.”

Eddie nuzzles against Steve’s neck, relieved to feel his pulse, steady and strong. “I don’t like thinking about you dying,” Eddie mumbles, working to take slow, even breaths. “I’ve already decided I’m going first.”

“Oh?”

“Yeah, you get to bury me, Steve, because there’s no way I’m living without you.”

“Guess we’ll just have to die together, since I don’t wanna live without you either. And then…” Steve pulls back just enough to cup Eddie’s cheek and force him to look up snd meet his eyes. “We can stay together, have lots of ghost sex.”

“Just a couple of very in love ghosts, having sex,” Eddie agrees.

Steve guides Eddie back to scent at his neck, holding him as they both calm down. Then he stoops to pick up the sheet, snickering as he drapes it over his alpha. “So, Ghost Eddie? You ready to fuck me?”

Even under the sheet, Steve can tell he’s smirking.

Eddie pounces.

Ghost sex ends up being pretty fucking spectacular.
