Kokichi, otherwise known as Spotpaw, started as a rogue in a funney little rogue group. can't imagine who they'd be. He joins the clan cus he's interested in their life and also maybe DICE is like slaughtered idk im still figuring that one out. buuuut!! he does join the clan and as you can imagine it goes. great

kaito and kokichi rivarly persists. at first he's wary cus Spotpaw's an outsider, but eventually theyre only fighting just cus he doesnt fucking like Spotpaw LMAO (´▽｀*)

His name is Nightpaw btw. His grandparents are elders in the clan. They tell funny stories to the children and Nightpaw tells them facts about the sky and he never shuts the fuck up about how their warrior ancestors inhabit the stars. at the same time he is also freaked out of the idea of the medicine cats (hiii mikan!!) being visited by the ghosts of fallen warriors (´- `*)

and finally

Shuichi and Tsumugi. Had to get a little strange with the family lines because... warrior cats... but basically Olivekit and Threadkit were raised together as siblings. Unfortunately! Junko is very present! Under the name of Goldenclaw. Mukuro is here too btw her name is Blackstrike. I'd share their designs but i hit my 10 photo limit on mobile and im not getting on my computer for this. oh yeah abyway uhhh Threadkit is kind of Goldenclaw's kit?? Goldenclaw probably found her in a ditch somewhere and went "oh yeah i can make a legacy out of this". She makes her sister raise Threadkit under the guise that shes her biological kit, and because of that, Birchwhisker goes to her for help to raise Olivekit. blackstrike is not happy about this

It all starts out as one big clan run by Jin, who has...yet to be Warrior named. And for a while, they're the ONLY clan. Buuuut.... Junko is here. The SDR2 cast are here. it does not stay peaceful

I won't type it all out since I'm still figuring it out and also I want to post this before I back out from nervousness but basically, Junko-- Goldenclaw,, yeah she's feeling a liiittle rebellious. Despair rises. Civil war within the clan begins, and eventually, Goldenclaw and her (very brainwashed and manipulated) group split off from the clan to start their own. and then they go to war (((・・;) typical warrior cats stuff

Eventually the conflict ceases as Makoto takes leadership of the clan as Luckystar. And I think, in this world, this is how the 9 lives ceremony woukd start-- some of the cats killed under Goldenclaw's tyranny come back to revive him with 9 extra lives to defeat her. They discover some sorta moonstone/moonpool (i prefer the stone lowkey) during this story. the drama. thats the best part about warriors. the DRAMA.

ok that's all i think i got it out of my system. maybe i'll come back to this maybe i won't i dunno,, i have a bad habit of having an idea and then forgetting it a day later (；ω；) so. you guys get danganronpa battle cats instead of anything... normal. whoopsies

hi i just found your blog after seeing that your 2023 art summary contained like 5 pieces which i absolutely loved (but never put a name to before), and then i saw there was a fan book for saiouma that you made and that it was supposed to be gone by end of year, and i just wanted to thank you for leaving it up a bit longer because i got a chance to get one! and I'm really looking forward to reading it once i finish the game!!

i love so much how you characterize kokichi (and furina, and venti), he's deeply important to me and there's just something in the way you draw and write for him that's so...perfect.

who does not love a good cheerful, bratty/mischievous character with a core of hidden sincerity and grit...!! i think venti, furina, ouma are all such fun because there's absolutely part of them that IS genuinely fun and showy and cheerful, and there's part of that persona that's put on for show... the ratio of how much and for what reason they're performing is so interesting.

Now, my question: Why does Kokichi seem so upset about kissing Shuichi? I mean, I scrolled so far just to try and understand the lore of the story and in one part Kokichi is fine with seeing Kaito + Shuichi kiss, but the moment he's offered to kiss with them he's got his panties all in a twist. Gonna put on my theorist hat for a sec and say that Kokichi 11037% likes Shuichi and DEFINITELY wants to be the one kissing him ͡ ❛ ͜ʖ ͡ ❛  BUT ALSO sees that he's happy with Kaito; deep down (although he won't admit it) he doesn't want to ruin what they've got because of his own feelings. I'm sorry I know that most of your asks are shorter than this but I'm so DARN captivated with the lore and Saiouma, I didn't know how to put this any shorter.

he's a bit snappy because you're RIGHT. he's a lovesick little shit. he's not really fine seeing them kiss, but kaito & shuichi are the people he's grown closest to and he doesn't want to fuck that up. this is post-game; he figures he's on thin ice already.

Sorry (not really), but in the scenario where Yakou is Shuichi's uncle and Yomi is Kokichi's older brother, it only makes me ship Saiouma harder.

Mostly due to the idea of where Yakou is really trying hard to reconnect with his nephew due to everything and one day, Shuichi is all nervous, talking about how since Yakou introduced Vivia to him, Yakou should meet his boyfriend. Yakou's all excited and happy that he and Shuichi are getting closer until hit with the gut punch that his nephew is dating his ex's brother lmao.

Joking aside, although this goes into the whole virtual reality killing game bit (cuz let's just be real here, UG ain't gonna stand by with the amount of killing going on and I want those characters to be alive ), I think they would work well with this cross over. I mean, they can bond over the fact that their relatives were caught in the whole homunculous thing (which I think not a lot of people can do that due to everything). I think they can get a lot closer given their history together.

Absolutely love the wholesome comedic energy of Shuichi telling Yakou and Vivia about dating Kokichi. The two older detectives enjoy their peace and quiet, sitting together on the couch, as Shuichi shuffles into the 'living room' of the agency.

Shuichi, nervously crossing his arms: Hey, Uncle Furio, there's something I've been meaning to tell you for a while.

Yakou: No need for the formalities, kiddo. Just call me Yakou, remember? Anyway, what's got you so high-strung? Vivia and I are always here to listen, y'know.

Shuichi: O-Of course...! It's just, well, I don't know how you'll take this news.

Yakou, heartily chuffing: C'mon, kiddo. I've seen a lot in my time, and I've got a hell of a lot more time on my hands. It can't be that bad.

Shuichi, beginning to relax: So, I recently started dating another Kanai Ward resident. H-He's a phantom thief...

Yakou, speaking between sips of his coffee: Phantom thief, huh? Heheh, probably not as infamous as the Cat.

Shuichi: And he's also the younger brother of former Peacekeeper Director Yomi Hellsmile.

Yakou, accidentally spitting his coffee at Vivia: HE'S WHAT?!

Vivia, dripping wet with coffee: Hm... I'd like to meet this trickster sometime. He sounds like a catch.

Yakou, already hurriedly wiping down Vivia with a paper towel: Y-Yeah! Quite the score, kiddo!

Not sure if I'm ever gonna make this a fic but it has been plaguing my mind lately. I mean I really wanted to turn it into a fanfic but I've spent weeks working on the snow white saiouma au so I think I'll postpone this idea for now.

Shuichi is your typical quiet guy who keeps to himself, who also goes to an all boys school. Miraculously, he is not bullied for being awkward. Simply because there are other more 'bullying-material' kids aside from him. Aside from that, he's unsure how else is he able to avoid the bullying.

He frequents a supermarket near his school. He goes to the supermarket almost everyday. One day, he walks in and finds himself surprised when the cashier cheerily greets him a 'good evening!' with a kind smile on her lips. She's new for sure - since usually Shuichi's presence is left ignored until he goes to pay for the things he picks up from the shelves.

While walking around the supermarket, Shuichi sneaks glances at the blonde behind the counter, noting how he feels quite at ease at seeing her bopping her head to the music playing through her earphones. She looks kind, and Shuichi notes to himself that maybe he could also give the cashier a kind smile in return.

When Shuichi goes to pay for his things, the cashier with a musical note hairpin tucked on a strand of her hair is quick to start small talks, her carefree aura making Shuichi feels comforted somehow.

That's how Shuichi ends up befriending Kaede, always dropping by the supermarket and at some point starts walking the girl to her house since her shift ends late into the night. At that point, they've known each other for a few months. Shuichi's told that Kaede is working to save up some money.

After Shuichi is finally comfortable enough to talk to Kaede and joke with her, he walks into the supermarket one day, a small, happy smile on his lips when it falters a little at seeing a student from his school talking to Kaede.

Shuichi obviously knows who Kokichi is - he's not really a bully, since he pranks literally everyone he wants. No discrimination whatsoever.

As it turns out, Kaede has been friends with Kokichi for a long time - childhood friends, she says. Shuichi and Kokichi somehow are only able to meet that day because Kokichi drops by on a weekday instead of the usual weekends. (Shuichi usually drops by on weekdays after school.)

The conversation that day is undeniably slightly awkward; Shuichi mostly listening in to Kaede's and Kokichi's banter. They're working pretty well together. Some part of Shuichi is envious.

The next day, when Shuichi goes to school, for the first time, Kokichi goes up to him and suddenly strikes a conversation.

Shuichi has never felt so anxious.

Ever since then, in some way or another, Shuichi is always being dragged into Kokichi's business.

Shuichi is confused how Kaede even gets along with Kokichi. Kokichi is a huge liar, a troublemaker, a prankster, loves to get on people's nerves, and, most of all, loves to run around in Shuichi's head all the time! He gives Shuichi riddles and too-vague hints, and then never speak of them again. Shuichi could always ignore these riddles and lies, but he finds himself itching to solve at least one of Kokichi's riddles just to gain some control over his life that is now filled with 'nishishi' laughs, stupidly low key cute mischievous grin, and barely-understandable riddles. At times, he finds himself only thinking of that guy.

Ever since meeting Kokichi at the supermarket, he keeps on seeing Kokichi and Kaede together at the supermarket - like Kokichi makes it his mission to run around in Shuichi's head. Kokichi keeps on saying horrendous things jokingly - like how he would send out assassins to assassinate the rude customers - while Kaede could laugh about it and just tells Kokichi that he's exaggerating. It's aa if she didn't care. But judging by how Kaede seems to understand the underlying meaning behind Kokichi's words, Shuichi believes that Kaede definitely could understand Kokichi.

Needless to say, some part of Shuichi is envious.

That's basically how the idea goes. I really want to write it out but yeah, like I mentioned at the beginning TT

There are a few fics I absolutely adore, but... a lot of them aren't Danganronpa fics :( I think that's mostly since a lot of them just haven't really caught my eye, hence the nonsense I put so much effort into writing, but I can share the ones I have read and enjoyed! :D

COMPLETE FICS

Okay so the first one here isn't necessarily a single fic. rather, it's a series! Child Actor Shuichi by TheBrightSilverLining ^_^ I adopted the aroace Rantaro headcanon from this lol. It covers some darker themes mainly related to child abuse so do proceed with caution!! But it is hurt/comfort, non-despair, its primary ship is Saiouma, and also Kaede almost blows up the kitchen so that's always a win in my books :) i also dont know if this is actually complete or not but it hasnt been updated since 2022 so..

Second one! I stayed up until 6am to finish reading this and it was 100% worth it I lost my near damn mind. Ultimates by SeashellCosmos. Now I haven't gotten around to reading the other two installments in the series, which I have been...meaning to do..... This is a DR1 centered fic where everyone has superpowers! :D I actually had a bit of a similar idea with DRV3 prior to reading this, so I was ECSTATIC to find this absolute GEM!! Other people as insane as I am!!! (*^▽^)/★*☆♪

Fantasy/Dragon AU. Wings and Scales by DraconicSparkle. i really really really really really really like dragons O_O I've been wanting to write a dragonfic for myself.... goodness I need to reread this fic. But from what I do remember, I was constantly going :O irl and I recall loving the dynamic of Kaito, Maki and Shuichi in this, even if they werent the main focus ^^

This one isn't a DR fic. Instead, it's a My Hero Academia one! When Realities Collide by LowlyWriter :3 I cannot even BEGIN to tell you how many times I've reread this one ゜゜(´O｀)°゜The first ever fic I read on ao3 was one about the same character from different realities meeting so this was so so awesome to read and hdbekdksjekfje AAGWHHH!!!! AAGGHUQI

the first one here is one that altered my brain chemistry and i have never been normal since the day I clicked on this. Hoarding Humans by Mycorrhizae. it only has 3 chapters. Saiouma, fantasy au. Kokichi is a dragon and that is SO fucking sick?? I love dragons?? It is a fairly lighthearted and easy to reread. The author did state it was "mostly a crack fic" :p so take that how you will lol

Post-game SDR2 Nagito-centered fic, wearing your heart on the tip of your tongue by PurePun. I've reread this a few times now because it has such a nice mix of typical danganronpa insanity and it's just. So funny sometimes. I wish it was socially acceptable to do what Nagito does in this fic it would cut all of the misunderstandings in my life down to 5%. It's also just really nice to see Nagito get along with everyone more or less xD

I can also take this opportunity to say ... I do have other fics planned. I have this one in mind that'll, for once, include the ENTIRE drv3 cast for the whole thing, so that'll be fun! :D I also really want to write a Saimatsu fic, but i've been very saiouma brained and I'm currently focused on HGH. saimatsu mansion will be real someday... maybe. there are other ideas rattling around in my brain but we'd be here forever if i tried to explain it and thats not what this post is about

have you guys watched that episode of attorney woo (ep 10) where woo is on the train and sees a guy getting arrested and try’s to help? yah but make it saiouma (and semi chaotic).

shuichi is doing something, on the train, or at a coffee shop and this cute preteen boy bursts through the door, looks at shuichi and

K: “hey! aren’t you like that detective guys nephew yah!?“

and like 5 officers are casing him with guns and he hides behind shuichi

K: “dude you need to help me! make them go away!”

S: “w-what??! i’m his nephew not a magician! the hell am i supposed to do!”

K: “i don’t fucking know do something!!”

S: “im 15 what am i supposed to do!?-“

PO: “sir step away from him, he’s a murder suspect”

S: “i would like to but he won’t let me”

that OR and AU where they’re very happy and steady on a four year long relationship and one thanksgiving day there’s a mock knock at the door, it’s shuichis work buddy’s

S: “um.. sorry but you wernt invited to my thanksgiving..”

PO: “actually we’re here him, kokichi ouma- you! you’re under arrest for-”

and boom he starts running, other cops start looking around their home and he’s like

S: “um you can’t do that withou-”

PO: “we already have a warrant.”

oumas under arrest for murder (he ran before they even said what it was in the beginning) he thought it was something else he did and IS in fact, guilty of but it’s WAYY less crazy then murder. him running just makes him look guilty as fuck.

shuichi has to go through the crazy though of his boyfriend actually doing something that fucking atrocious. and, we’ll, prove him inocente, not in an official way, but the same way he solved a cold case when being underage.

ANDDD! not to mention ouma lying about a lot of stuff to do his real, not so crazy, but also not so small crime (probably something involving DICE. don’t have to be crazy but i do think that’s his family and he’d do a LOT for them, including lying about what and where he is to shuichi)

either way, ouma is going to jail for something he didn’t do! because,,, obsessed with detective shuichi.

but then again… it would be a lot of shuichi and not enough ouma to be considered a saiouma fic… so maybe not that interesting … whomp whomp whatever! they’re AUs i like to think about trying to sleep :3
