How do I come out as bi again to people after IDing as a lesbian for 2 years? Iâm not sure if this is the right blog to ask but Iâve been following u from your other (terminated) acc for that long and Iâm not sure who to seek advice from
hi anon đâșïž,
firstly, congratulations on discovering this new aspect of yourself đ„łđ„łđ„ł bisexuality is a beautiful, vibrant, diverse and powerful sexuality to embody, and bisexuals are a group who embody nothing if not resilience and strength and beauty and pride. I'm truly happy that you have reached this new level of personal understanding!!!
secondly, no matter what anyone says about your sexuality or who you are, you owe them nothing. not even me.
discovering your sexuality is different to what you previously thought it to be is not a failing in any sense of the word. unfortunately, people inside and outside the community attach moral value to whatever your sexuality is.
bigots exist inside and outside the lgbt community, who may say your discovery makes you worse or better than before but none of that is true and none of that matters. there is no morality attached to your sexuality. it just is. its a part of you. it is morally neutral, which means, while it does matter to who you are, it doesnt matter and shouldnt to anyone but you.
if that makes sense.
i say all this to say that, your bisexuality is yours and yours alone. you do not have to prove anything to any one, being bisexual doesnt make you better or worse of a person. it makes you you, and you should always be proud of who you are.
thirdly, regarding letting people know that assuming you have a blog where youve been posting about lesbianism, ofc it will be important to let your followers know what you've discovered your sexuality to be.
dont be afraid to do this, anon. yes its daunting but you must always be true to yourself. block and ignore the people who get (unwarrantedly and biphobically) 'upset' at you, including mutuals. anyone who cannot and refuses to respect who you are wholly, not only when you fit their idea of who you "should be", was never worth your time or energy or friendship.
you will make new and better and worthy friends who respect your whole being and that is who you deserve to be in community with.
im honored that you felt my blog was a safe place to turn to for this dilemma, because gods know ive been through the same.
you will always have a place here on my blog. youre still in the sapphic community and broadly, we are still in this together because of that.
i wish you nothing but the very best and all the happiness and hope, anon. feel free to send another ask if you ever need to talk âșïžđ« đ©·đđ©”

It's the day!!! Happy Pride Month to everyone who follows me (for some reason, including those hot Tumblr girl bots), my friends and mutuals, to every stranger on here, LGBT+ people and allys, and to everyone in or out of the closet. đłïžâđ
And to anyone who is against this celebration, eh. I was the same in my childhood. Until I joined theater at age 15, that was filled with gay people. And learned that they aren't the blood sucking, child stealing, God hating, shape shifting demons I was taught they were. They're pretty chill people. In other words.......
John 8:7 KJV - So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" (22:37-39)
No one is without sin, including the homophobic people, and no one should put any of our brothers and sisters down for being born the way they were. Jesus loves all of us, and that's what he wants us to do, to love each other. đ

End of Year Collage - Best of 2022
Rules: Find your fave pics of your story or your blog in general and post them up in a collage! :D it can be 1 picture or 100 whatever you want. But just reflect on your fave moments in your story or on your blog. It can be cute moments or pictures youâre just really proud of.
I did this last year and decided to make one for 2022, to celebrate simming, the one source of joy I got out of another crapfest of a year.
I did even less simming this year than Iâve ever done, so some months once again have no entries, which depresses me. I doubt 2023 will be any better, but hereâs hoping! đ€đ€
MY THOUGHTS (for each month) under the cut:
January: New Years Miniset
I did diddly squat in January, just uploaded my New Years miniset that I had made for Magnus Baneâs birthday the December before.
February #1: Lunar New Year | February #2: Black Girl Magic Collection
Still no gameplay this month, but I got a lot done as far as CC, uploading my regularly scheduled holiday sets for Lunar New Year and Black History Month. Shortest month of the frikkin year, but Iâm always swamped in February.
March #1: BLEACH \(^0^)/ | March #2: Let them eat cake!
I went nuts in March, trying to rush to get as much Bleach inspired gameplay done as possible before my schoolwork and birthday plans for April all caught up with me. Didnât get nearly as much done as I wanted, but I had fun, regardless. Ironically enough however, yâall were more interested in one silly post I made where my Sakura & Ryuu sims assassinated Marie Antoinette! XD
April: Modern Male Witch Project Part 5
My latest installment recreating Brenna-Ivyâs Modern Mages went off without a hitch. Made an EFFTON of CC for yâall on my birthday, and had a blast!
May: Didnât do any simming in May, as I needed to recover from blitzing the last 3 months.
June #1: The Untamed contâd | June #2: Pride Month: Asian LGBT+
I took advantage of my Summer Break from school to continue my The Untamed gameplay. Some of my favorite posts ever, right there. Plus, it was Pride Month, so I was able to double-time it with Hanguang-Jun(e) Month and an cool Asian-themed LGBT series of weekly posts from some of my fave fandom ships: Nagron, Malec, WangXian, Andynh, and Adoribull.
July: Mighty Nein
I did more of the Modern Male Project, but definitely the best gameplay of the month (and arguably my whole YEAR) came from my Critical Role inspired posts. Yâall were going bananas; I loved seeing how many D&D fans were out there! Iâm definitely doing more this year, it was way too much fun.
August: TW3 Skellige
My witcher!household went a-viking in Ard Skellig, as I tested out a bunch of new CC I was uploading that month.Â
September: Nada. I was in the TRENCHES at school; I got hit with one massive project after another, ISTG it was like the department wanted to see if I would effing crack under pressure. STILL HERE, WENCHES. I hate grad school.
October: The Untamed contâd
Halloween was the perfect time to deal with Wen Ning, so I HAD to squeeze in some more Untamed gameplay for the holidays.Â
November: Wei Wuxianâs Halloween/Birthday
I was late posting in time for WWXâs bday on Halloween, but was just glad I managed to make a post Iâd been dying to do for a LONG while, showing Wei WuXian get reincarnated as Mo XuanYu.
December: Interview with the Vampire
Yâall. Yâall know? How effing HAPPY I am that AMC made this dang show? I love every bit of it; eff the book purists. This is how you do an adaptation RIGHT, by ELEVATING the source material and updating the content for modern audiences. BRAVO.
________________________________________________
Thank you everybody, followers, mutuals, lurkers, and all simmers who continue to support me and The Sims 3, and like my content!
Happy Simming, and Happy New Year!

I went to my first ever gay event ever in the last two days.
I cannot emphasise enough how important pride is for baby gays.
It is so important and necessary
This is the first time ever that an event like this was in my city. Like the place I actually live at. And in the past two days that I went there
I felt nothing but love and acceptance
It was a small event but Iâve never seen so many queer people in one place before.
And thereâs just all age groups, baby gays, older veteran gays. And itâs so. Inspiring. Itâs like they made it. This is not a new thing there always have been and always will be gay people everywhere. E v e r y w h e r e.
I made so many friends. All the way from my age to like 50 years old. I talked to them and bonded with them in a way I never have with anyone. They were all so nice and welcoming and warm. Iâve never felt more at home, more safe and more happy anywhere in my entire life.
And like. As a baby gay (in their 20s) it means SO MUCH to me. Someone gave me this one badge that said âboy or girl?â âSometimesâ. Someone else gave me two complimentary necklaces because I bought so many necklaces from him. This other person was so grateful that I bought so many stickers from their stall. This man gave me money for dinner when I was broke at the end of this day, and someone else got me a drink just because they could get another free one.
I sat with these people. I talked to them. They were so awesome. There was not a moment when I felt uncomfortable. Not a moment I felt out of place. Not a moment I felt like an outsider. I felt so accepted and completely free to be me.
This one butch lesbian was telling us a story about this time the police came to shut down their pride event but they. The queers. They stood steadfast and strong against them. They resisted them and they claimed their space. There were no cops or anything to shut us down this time. And hearing that story we felt, I think collectively that even though we have a long, long way to go, weâve still come pretty far. She said that âtogether we are unbreakable.â And then I gave her a big hug and told her I loved her in my drunken stupor. But I know that I meant it. I always mean it. And I almost cried. Itâs stories like these. Just these.
I cannot stress enough how important pride is.
Iâm a little buzzed right now but I am so full of love and appreciation for these people. And every lgbt person that follows me or is a mutual.
Day before yesterday and yesterday weâre such a magical time of my life. A core memory. I will remember my first ever pride.
Actual tears flowing from my eyes as I write this. I never cry. This is how important this was for me, and I think for every lgbtq+ person. Pride is the evidence that weâre here and weâll always be here. Iâm so overwhelmed by this. I met people in their 20s to this 50s. I felt so nice. I felt so accepted. If only. If only real life was like that
Iâm so overwhelmed right now and also a bit buzzed. Just Love.
#good morning I wrote this post and passed out cos I was so tired hahaha#time to tag now#and like I read this post again and just tears started rolling down my face#god pride is so important and necessary and nice and everyone should experience it at least once in their lives#and gay ppl r the best#I made so many friends#text#pride#lgbtq#pride month#gay#lesbian#bisexual#transgender#queer

an ig mutual of mine which seemed like a really nice person and had beautiful outfits and photos shared in her story a post that says "god does not bless sin". the caption of the post refers to homosexual relationships as "intrinsically disordered" and "a perversion of God's order of marriage".
i'm so tired guys. so dissappointed that this is still happening in 2022, so sad that people are using anything just to justify their homophobia. and even more sadder at the fact that this person most probably knew i am a lesbian, because she sees my stories all the time and she even followed me on my priv account. and even supporting these ideas, she still followed me and talked to me, probably justifying herself with all the "hate the sin love the sinner" bullshit that these people proclaim.
no. being lgbt is such an important part of ourselves. it's not an fucking accessory that you can ignore so you can say "oh, i love you, but just not that part". no. this is who i am. it's as important as my personality, my hobbies, my passions and my dreams. if you hated any of those parts you wouldn't be my friend right? then, why do you treat sexuality as a bonus that you can take off?
and even with this, there are people that think that pride month is unneccesary, because oh we have the same rights or EVEN MORE than hetero cis people. no. we are still fighting. i wish we didn't have to keep fighting over something that is about our lives and our happiness, but the truth is that in 2022 we lgbt+ people still face discrimination over something so simple as manifesting who we want to be and who we want to love.
sorry about the rant. i wanted to say this. if you don't respect lgbt+ people please unfollow and block me. i am a lesbian. and that won't change.

Every year on the 8th December we celebrate Pansexual Pride Day. đđđ It is a time for both individuals and organisations around the world to come together and celebrate Pansexuality and raise further awareness to Pansexual people and their community.
What is pansexuality?
Pansexuality is a sexual, romantic or emotional attraction towards others regardless of their sex or gender identity. Pansexual people my refer to themselves as Omnisexual or Gender-Blind, asserting that gender is not a determing factor for their romantic or sexual attraction to others.
Isn't Pansexuality the same as Bisexuality?
Pansexuality differs from Bisexuality but the two arenât mutually exclusive. Being Bisexual means being attracted to more than one gender, whereas Pansexual means being attracted to people regardless of gender.
Pansexuality and Bisexuality do not conflict one another, some people believe that Pansexuality better includes people of all genders while others are happy identifying as Bisexual. It's not uncommon for some Bisexual people to also identify as Pansexual (like me!!), and vice versa.
Pansexuality is included under the Bisexual umbrella, which covers anyone who experiences sexual or romantic attraction to more than one gender.
Labels are meant to be guides, not rules set in stone. They're meant to fit the person using them comfortably. They wear the label, the label doesn't wear them.
What's the difference between Pan Pride Day vs Pan Awareness and Visibility Day?
Pansexual Pride Day is not to be confused with Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day that lands on the 24th May each year. Although different dates to celebrate, they do however follow the same theme in supporting Pansexuality and to increase further knowledge and understanding of Pansexual people and the Pansexual community.Â
Like other Pride days within the LGBTQ+ calendar, Pansexual Pride Day is an opportunity to bring awareness to the stories and experiences of Pansexual people within society and to look further into how we can work together to improved inclusivity for Pansexual people.Â

...Hi.
Iâve wanted to make this post for a good while, just to get all of this out of my system.
This is not to make myself the victim, or to blame the person Iâm going to talk about, this is just to vent.
There are also some people that I know that follow me and the person and will probably see this post, and I just want to ask you not to get involved or pick sides or anything.
So imagine youâre me, youâre a kid in a new school and you donât know anyone. You are away on a class trip in the beginning of the year, and youâre supposed to sit with your class seat buddy on the bus, but your belts donât work so you both have to find somewhere else to sit.
You walk along the bus aisle near tears, when you see a free seat beside a kid with black and yellow hair looking out the window. You ask them if you can sit there, and they says yes.
We will call this kid Kim.
You and Kim introduce yourselves, and they mention that theyâve read a book wity a character that has the same name as you, and you end up talking about other books you both have read.
The two of you go in the same year but different classes, so you hang out whenever you can.
You make other friends in your own class, but frankly thereâs just a lot of drama and sometimes itâs nice to just hang out with a person that is more like you.
You and Kim spend three years hanging out together, playing Pokémon trainers, discussing Harry Potter, pretending to be animals, and you just have a lot of fun.
At the end of sixth grade you come out to the world as a Lesbian, and Kim comes out to you as Pansexual, and you start to bond a lot over it.
But then, at the end of sixth grade, something happens.
You decide that next year, with a new class, you wonât be a pushover anymore. You wonât be the girl that sits in during recess, reading Harry Potter books. You will be tougher, more outspoken, more confident.
You and Kim end up in the same class, and everything is fine at first!
But then, without realizing it, it changes.
You both start hanging out with other people together, and quickly become a part of a friend group. But without realizing it yourself, you are much more into the group than Kim is.
Kim starts forgetting their glasses, so they have to sit in the front of the class while you prefer to sit in the back.
The people that you and Kim used to hate have actually matured a lot, and you end up being able to have genuine conversations with them, despite Kim not realizing this.
Then everything goes downhill for you.
You start getting anonymous hate messages on the internet because of your sexuality, you start to really see the flaws in yourself, you start to hate how you look, how you think, how you are.
And youâre too afraid too talk about it to your parents, so you bring it up when youâre talking with Kim.
But instead of taking what your saying seriously, Kim interrupts you when you try to have a serious conversation, just saying random words, and instead of being there for you they just say âYeah thatâs how life isâ.
You graduate seventh grade, and begin the worst Sumer of your life.
The summer of refusing to leave your bed, the summer of crying for someone to be there when no one is, the summer of long sleeves.
And through it all, Kim isnât there.
When you begin right grade, youâre basically dead inside.
You laugh along with your friends, you do your homework, you write your fanfics, but inside you just want to end it all.
You barely hang out with Kim anymore, except for rare occasions, and itâs during this time that you start to realize how annoyed you are of them.
The way they laugh way too much at the smallest joke, like banging their hands on the table laugh, the way they always interrupt you when youâre talking, the way they insist on befriending the teachers, even the ones that bully you, the way they always make ridiculous poses that arenât funny in the slightest.
You get really into musicals at this time, and you try to talk to Kim about them, but they always say that they are not interested in a sharp tone. But then they come up to you and start to talk about drag races and drag queens, and you try to listen but itâs just really not interesting to you, and when you tell them that they just huff and stomp away.
You ask Kim about it all, if they are in someway mad at you since they seem so sharp towards you. They say that no, they arenât, but that they thinks itâs annoying that you shout across the classroom to correct someone??
You tell them that you need them in your life because of all the shit you are going through, but they just recommend a therapist and leave it at that.
Your parents finally find out about how youâre feeling by pure accident, and youâre diagnosed with depression and start seeing a therapist. At first it feels weird, but after a couple of weeks, it starts helping.
Itâs in the winter season that Kim comes out to you as Non-binary, while the two of you are walking so you can buy chocolate. You are of course fully supportive, and ask which pronouns they want you to use in public. They say that theyâd preferred if you used their given pronouns in public, but in private you use they/them.
But since you barely hang out anymore, you barely call them they/them, and after a while you almost forget about it.
Itâs a simple assignment that makes you really despise this person. Youâre supposed to make a video about a societal question, that would work almost as an ad. You end up with Kim and another girl, that is actually really kind.
The two of you wants to do something about feminism, but you end up in an argument about something, that eventually leads to if Straights should be allowed at pride.
Kim says strictly no, that Pride is a LGBT thing, and the straights shouldnât have anything to do with it. You say that they should, because parents and friends should be there as emotional support, and a Bisexual might be dating a straight that wants to be there for their partner etc etc.
You eventually join another group.
After that, you stop trying.
You hang out with your new friends, and occasionally see Kim walk around school alone with their headphones, mouthing the words to the song.
At first you feel bad about it, but you stop after a while because Kim is not even trying to make new friends. They just talk to the teacher during class, give short answers to questions from classmates, and act as if anyone would look at them, they would die.
Kim comes out to the whole world as Non-binary, and you start to call them by their proper pronouns and their new name.
Whenever someone calls them their old pronouns or name, you are the first to correct them, and if anyone has any questions about their gender you are happy to answer, since you know that theyâd rather donât.
If anyone would ever mock them for their gender when they arenât there, you snarl are them quickly, because it doesnât matter if you like this person or not, respect all genders bitch!
Kim starts to hang out with new people at school that are a year older than them, and youâre a little happy for them.
Itâs at the end of eight grade, when youâre sitting and talking to a friend that also used to be friends with Kim before she had enough, that Kim comes up.
You ask her if Kim ever mentioned why you and they never hang out anymore, and she said that they did.
According to Kim, the reason they and I donât hang out anymore is because I call them by their old pronouns too much.
And the amount of pure rage that filled me at that moment was like an active volcano.
Because say what you want about me, Arrogant, Weird, a know it all, a disaster, whatever! But donât you dare to propose that I donât respect Non-Binary people.
Itâs a lie too! I occasionally slip, but I quickly correct myself and apologize! I am the one that always correct people for fucks sake!
But this motherfucker dare to say that I call them the wrong pronouns, thatâs just pure bullshit.
I was tempted to just sit up, find Kim and punch them in the face!
I have been wanting to confront Kim about this ever since my friend said it to me, but we have many mutual friends and I donât want to screw anything up between them.
So currently I have no idea what to do. Thoughts?
#Long Post#Rant#Tumblr Story#Swearing#Story#Tumblr Rant#help#I had to meet the person again today at my bookclub#And the amount of times I wanted to fucking choke them was a lot

ALRIGHT
I slapped together this banner, it sucks I know. But look how handsome my boy Tensei is <3 Ah, my heart.Â
So even though I didnât get as many Pride Requests as I would have hoped, the ones I did get are super amazing and I canât wait to get started on them.Â
As I said before any requests that arenât Pride/LGBT related will be queued for later consideration.Â
That being said, I might as well be honest and say I am going to flat out ignore some requests I have gotten, either because they clearly did not follow the rules I laid out or itâs the same exact thing I have done before.Â
Iâm not a fan of repeating ideas, however, Iâll clarify and say that Iâm fine with someone requesting the same characters but with a different plot. For example my rather growing in popularity Mirio Vs. Bakugou (Credit to the anon who thought of that in the first place.) It may be with the same characters but you guys always come up with a different plot or scenario for them. That is fine because at least itâs a different idea, itâs a different way I can write the situation.
I donât mean to be picky and trust me, how I am as a person. I am anything but a ruler follower. This doesnât apply to those who actually did read my rules, but I figured Iâd just speak in general.Â
If I took the time to write rules down, people can take the time to read them. Especially if they want me to write something for them, itâs mutual respect. I understand if some people are excited and like my work and just wanna jump right in and request. But I ask that in general please read my rules prior to requesting and I know this may come up, but in my rules, I do say. I have the right to refuse a request so.Â
As I said before, I do plan on opening my requests once again at the end of the month. Hopefully, weâll see how it plays out. But I was thinking about maybe trying to do other themes. Someone mentioned in an ask that June was the month revolving around love/wedding/proposals and all that. SO maybe that would be a fun thing we can all do together. Create themes for a certain month and have requests revolve around that. Iâm sure some ideas would overlap with that, but so far most of the time I see that you guys are pretty good with coming up with different scenarios.Â
Weâll discuss that at a later date, but if you do have suggestions for monthly themes or prompts I can do for this blog. Iâm all ears, weâre all here to have fun and like I have said before. I do enjoy writing, I do enjoy getting requests or at least the ones that follow my damn rules. I do enjoy making you all happy with my writing. So yeah, suggestions are open. Hit me up anytime with an ask.Â

How One Musical is Changing the Future
âFor one thing, it isâby cold critical standardsâthe worst of the lot, with a repetitive score, painfully forced rhymes, cartoonish acting and a general approach that mistakes decibel level (literally and metaphorically) for emotional intensityâ is what New York Times critic Ben Brantley wrote about the cult musical Be More Chill after itâs opening on Broadway on March 10th, 2019. Be More Chill is a musical by Joe Iconis with a book by Joe Tracz, based on the young adult sci-fi novel of the same name by Ned Vizzini. It follows high school loser Jeremy Heere on his quest to become popular by taking a pill called a with a microcomputer inside of it called a SQUIP, which implants itself into Jeremyâs brain and helps him to be more chill. Many shenanigans follow. Sound weird? It is, but that is the point.
The bad reviews did not stop at the Times. Mashable called it âa disappointmentâ and The Hollywood Reporter stated it âcontains serious problems.â So, does it come as any surprise that the show closed five months after opening?
From the outside looking in, no. A bad Times review is a bad Times review, and a bad Times review will close a production. But a step into the Lyceum Theatreâs doors while Be More Chill played on itâs stage would suggest an entirely different story.
Excited teenagers dressed in full cosplay, standing ovations after the showâs hit âMichael in the Bathroomâ belted out by George Salazar (who plays Jeremyâs best friend, Michael), a screaming stagedoor crowd that caused passersby to stop and see what celebrities where coming out (they often left disappointed), fans crying as they got to meet their favorite actorsâThe two pictures put together do not make much sense. What made this musical connect with this young crowd in ways that theatre critics missed, causing the show to close despite its enthusiastic audience?
Fourteen-year-old Luna discusses the wide expanse of diversity the show contains. âI especially saw this in George Salazar's performance,â she says, âwith someone who's half Filipino, like me, playing such a major role in the show!â Similarly, another fan, Jenn, describes how âas a fellow Filipino who is also part of the LGBTQIA+ community, it honestly made me feel so seen for the first timeâ to see Salazar, a gay half-Filipino, half-Ecuadorian man, perform on a Broadway stage in a lead role. âIt made me tear-up.â
The representation does not stop at race. Another fan, Skylar, says that âthe fact that a character actually says âOh my God, I am totally biâ literally makes me want to sobâ in reference to a bisexual character, Rich Goranski. Salazarâs character wears a rainbow pride patch on his hoodie and has the famous line, âMy mothers would be thrilled!â that caused fans in the audience to scream and cheer nightly.
Beyond representation, many people love the show because of itâs message. Twenty-five year old Erika states âIt gives a voice to all the weirdos and people with anxiety/depression but in a way that's also comedic and colorful and fun and people really need that!â Similarly, twenty-eight year old Kayleigh describes her experience connecting to the show. âThen, when we got to [the song] âUpgradeâ and [the lyric] âI'm tired of being the person that everyone thinks that I amâ was sung, and I immediately began to cry in my seat because, for the entirety of my life, I've worn a facade, quieting my interests and my desires in order to make other people happy . . . I felt seen as a person.â
If representation, from race to sexuality to mental illness, is what drew people to Be More Chill, the community is where people stayed, finding their home in itâs fandom. Through being mutual fans of the show, Luna met her girlfriend, Taylor, who happily explains âalso because of [Be More Chill] I have a girlfriend! She is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.â Kayleigh and Erika have found friendship in a Twitter group chat called the âVintage Cassettes,â a play on a lyric in the show, while Luna and Taylor have true, close friends in their Twitter group chats, all formed because of their membersâ mutual love for Be More Chill.
The community of Be More Chill fansâoften called âstansââis unlike your average fandom scene. Kayleigh describes how âbeing a stan of Be More Chill means being accepting of people's identities and being there for each other,â and Luna says, âin my experience, Be More Chill stans have been a lot more welcoming than stans I've interacted with in other fandoms.â Be More Chill stans are âloud and passionateâ and unashamedly so.
Returning to the question at hand of what made this show connect to its audience, it was how the show was so open and welcoming, with itâs diverse cast of whacky, fun, weird characters, it allowed people to see themselves onstage. It shows people that there is a place where they belong. Luna remarks: âAs someone who has stanned theatre for more than three years, it took my discovery of George and Be More Chill just over a year ago to get me to understand that I, a mixed race LGBT+ person, do have a place in this world and in this community.â Be More Chill gave so many people one thing that every person needs, a place to belong, and people to share that place with.
And while the show is not every personâs cup of tea, especially theatre critics, the stans know that. âThe show isn't perfect and doesn't try to be,â Taylor says. âBe More Chill is one of the most loved and hated Broadway musicals, which makes the fandom very different. We are all very close and very protective of the show as a whole.â But, speaking on the showâs importance, Taylor states that âBe More Chill gives people a voice that they didn't know they had.â Jenn describes how âthat kind of impact is something not to be undermined.â
And it is true. Influences such as Be More Chill are important in society. The fandom behind Be More Chill has given people a family, a found family. It has inspired young people of color, young LGBT+ people, like Luna and Jenn, showing them that they have a place in this world. The showâs message and how it handles topics such as mental illness has connected to millions across the globe. The Pitted Olive, part 7
(part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6)
Steve usually didn't need a lot of sleep. Five, six hours of rest were pretty standard for him and plenty to let him function through the whole day. Maybe it was that yesterday, he and Tony had decided to stay late at the Pitted Olive, prolonging their stay to see Tootsie's rock performance and Arrow's new juggling routine and he indulged more in the Long Island Ice tea than his body was used to, that the next morning it was exceptionally hard to get up from bed. He just wished to stay in, wrapped in warm covers and softness, and let his body decide when it wanted to wake up, instead of his always disciplined mind telling him that it was way past his usual sleep hours. He heard Tony woke up some time ago, but his boyfriend remained tactful and quiet and didn't want to disturb the blond, and moved swiftly and unnoticeable. Steve had moments of wakening up and nodding off, always feeling Tony's presence somewhere close, without being able to pinpoint exactly where he was, but it was enough to keep him calm and deep in sleep.
Until this one moment.
Steve was still wrapped in blissful sleep when he felt it. The dip of the bed, the thigh pressing against his leg, radiating characteristic heat. Someone looking at his face and leaning in, soft breathing hearable in the quiet surroundings. Steve thought that wakening up by a kiss was a quite good scenario, a scenario he would happily follow. It just wasn't this scenario.
One sharp tug and pinch at his eyebrow and Steve's eyes sprung open, his hands moving to cover his face and press to the hurt skin.
"Ow!"
"Got you, you little bastard."
"What the-" Steve focused his eyes and saw Tony looming over him, a satisfied smile spread over his boyfriend's lips. Steve continued to massage his brow, not understanding what just happened and why he was insulted as the first thing after wakening up. "Tony, what the fuck-"
"Show me," Tony demanded instead, pushing Steve's hands away and cupping his chin, eyes sharp and analyzing while he was looking at his face. "Oh, yeah, much better. That hair was driving me crazy. Although, you could use a little more plucking on the left side."
And then Steve saw it. In his free hand, Tony was holding tweezers, the torture device getting too close for Steve to feel comfortable.
"No!" Steve yelled out, grabbing at Tony's wrists and trying to pull his boyfriend to himself and trap under and Tony was successfully not letting him.
"But your eyebrows are uneven!"
"And?! Do you think I care?"
"I care! Just let me- just a bit- hold still!"
"No, it hurts!"
"Oh, don't be a baby!"
Steve opened his mouth to say something back when while during wrestling with Tony something caught his attention. He looked at his own hands and let go of Tony for closer inspection, brunet immediately taking the opportunity to launch another attack of the tweezers and Steve temporarily knocked him to the side, hearing a yelp of protest. He rolled on his stomach for further protection and examined his hands closer. The nails, usually clipped pretty short for comfort, were filed into a perfect oval shape, cuticles were pushed back and there was a light coat of sheen nail polish on each nail. His hands also felt a lot smoother, with no rough edges, just as if someone massaged a heck lot of hand cream into the skin.
"Did you give me a manicure while I was sleeping?" Steve asked, eyes glued to hands that didn't look anymore like the ones he remembered having.
"Uh, yeah. Hope you don't mind, I was bored," Tony said, flopping on his side and coming closer to look at his work. "Turned out great, right?" he asked, some proud note making its way into his voice.
It was a change for sure. Steve turned his hands and looked at the fronts and bottoms, quite liking what he was seeing. Who would have thought that hands could look so nice?
"Um, yeah."
"Glad you like it," Tony smiled, "I tried to give you a pedicure too, but you kept kicking me away whenever I touched your feet. As for someone who is such a heavy sleeper, you can get very squeamish when it comes to your feet."
Steve just laughed in an embarrassed way. Somethings were better left without an explanation.
"Hey, baby, hold still," Tony whispered, placing a hand under Steve's chin and turning his face to his. Steve saw tweezers getting closer and his skin immediately started to crawl.
"No!"
"I said hold still!"
"You hold still!"
Some kicking, some wrestling, and some mutual screaming later, Steve managed to press Tony down into the covers and trap him in, taking the torture tool out of his hands.
"AHA!" Steve called in triumph, holding the tweezers. "Let's see how you like it!" he said with an evil grin, leaning in and planning to make Tony taste his own medicine.
"Go ahead," Tony invited, smiling back. Steve intended to, but⊠The evil grin disappeared and was replaced by a more and more confused look as he was examining Tony's face. Eyebrows in a neat shape, no strand hairs. Smooth cheeks, the goatee trimmed to a perfect length. In a desperate, completely dirty move, Steve even looked for nose hair, but those were also properly taken care of.
"See?" Tony smiled wider, pointing at his face, and spreading his fingers. "Flawless," he said, making a clicking sound with his tongue.
Flawless indeed. Even Tony's skin looked smooth and plump, and maybe Steve should reconsider his statement on not letting Tony massage tsubaki oil into his face every evening, unlike Tony did.
Still...
"AH!" Tony yelled out when two hands shot under his arms and wriggled fingers into the, of course, smooth armpits, tickling viciously. "Stoop!" he managed to choke out before frantic laughter started to spill out. "You whihihiiill give mehehehee wrinklehehehes!"
Steve only smiled again, thinking that Tony's laugh lines were so fetching and that there was nothing wrong in making them a bit deeper.
***
"I need you out of the house."
"Huh?" Steve looked up from his bowl of sugar frosted cereal. They had such a lazy, long morning changing into afternoon, that none of them felt like preparing a proper breakfast, settling on Tony's secret stash and choosing something to go with the already lazy day. They even stayed in bed, getting crumbs all over the bedding. "You are kicking me out?"
Tony giggled, holding a cup with coffee in one hand, and blueberry pop tart in the other leisurely leaned against the bed frame. "Just temporarily. My girls are coming over and I think you will get bored."
"Girls?" Steve asked, spooning the soggy cereal into his mouth.
"Other drag queens. We have those meetups to discuss makeup, dress designsâŠ" Tony's voice faltered as almost ending the sentence before he continued. "Current love affairsâŠ"
Steve didn't answer at first, the edge of the bowl pressed to his lips as he slurped out the sweetened milk. When he looked at Tony, he had milk mustache on his upper lip and smiled teasingly. "Oh? So you will talk about me behind my back?"
"Only if you leave," Tony said, sounding humored by his young lover's playful behavior. "It is not fun to gossip about you while you are here."
"So, who is coming?" Steve asked, trying to keep his curiosity at minimum, and not be too noisy what exactly Tony would say about him.
"Girls from the Olive, so, Tootsie and Arrow, my friend from a different drag queen bar, Lady Mint -"
"Bucky is coming over?" Steve asked, putting the bowl aside. Somehow he couldn't picture his friend discussing material for dresses and lipstick colors.
"He is," Tony confirmed, finishing the pop tart and putting his empty mug aside, "but not for your lame bro time, but for my fabulous girls time."
Steve laughed at the word choice. "If it is that fabulous, maybe I will stay?"
"You are welcomed to, if you want to," Tony shrugged, "just a fair warning, we will probably put you into a dress and makeup-"
"I am out," Steve said without any hesitation, wriggling out of the covers and standing up.
"Ah, Steve, wait!"
"Hmm?"
"Uhhmm, before you go, could you help me with something?" Tony asked in a sultry voice, sitting up and smoothening hands over the covers in a slow, long move, until he was laying flat on his belly, legs crossed delicately in the ankles. Eyes having that helpless, pleading look that made Steve feel weak in the knees immediately. It was almost hypnotizing.
"Yeah, sure," Steve assured breathlessly, focusing back on his gorgeous boyfriend. Whatever it was, he would be happy to assist.
Tony smiled, slow and beautiful before he rolled to the edge of the bed and pulled out a shoe box from underneath. He took the lid off and Steve saw a pair of black pumps, made from shiny faux leather, on an extremely high and slim heel, in Tony's size. Steve's breath immediately quickened. He and Red Velvet made out a couple of times, but fooling around with Tony while he was wearing only parts of his female side's wardrobe, was a new level of excitement.
Tony took out one pump and ran his fingers over the shiny surface, and Steve saw the red sole of the boot. Then he took out the other one and held both of them in one hand.
"Can you break those in for me?" Tony asked sweetly, reaching the pumps in Steve's direction.
Steve froze, his brain registering the words, breaking them apart and putting together again. Break in. Black pumps. Him.
"What?!" Steve asked, and it came out harsher than he wished it did.
"Pleaaase?" Tony whined, putting his hands together in a pleading gesture, the pumps bumping into each other with a soft sound. "I need them for my nearest show and it will take ages before I break them in, with your shoe size it will just take a day-"
"Nu-uh. Your shoes, your problem," Steve said firmly, more than sure that he would break a leg minutes after putting the shoes one.
"Oh, come on! Please? Pleease? I promise to leave your eyebrows alone!"
"I said no, Tony!"
And chaos started anew.
***
Ultimately, Steve decided to stay, not because he wanted to be a part of the drag queens meeting, but because Tony batted his long eyelashes at him and asked for help with preparing some snacks, because he forgot to order catering and serving drag queens cheesy puffs and carbonated drinks Tony's pantry had plenty off, seemed just wrong. Steve made a quick round to the nearest grocery shop and came back hauling bags with fresh veggies and rice paper for spring rolls and veggie platters, and followed the very specific instructions Tony had given him what kind of cheeses and fruits to buy for a more decadent cheese board. In the meantime, Tony gave his living space a quick clean, all the time wearing the black pumps, which was very, very distractive for Steve, who had almost cut his finger off while he was dicing the cheese into bite-sized pieces. So, they decided to switch. Literally.
Time was passing, and soon the first guests started to show up.
"Honey?!" Tony called from the kitchen table, arranging the fresh veggies around the homemade dips, when the doorbell rang, "can you get that?"
Steve grunted, closing the door to the closet, just in time finishing the vacuuming. "Really, Tony?" he called back, his feet tired enough as it was.
"Please? You are closer to the door," Tony reasoned and while it was true, Steve grunted again, knowing that his boyfriend just wanted to torment him more. Dragging one foot at a time and walking in slow, wobbly steps, Steve had made it to the door, just in time as the person on the other side started to rattle on the doorknob impatiently.
"Coming, coming!" Steve opened the door, seeing Bucky, holding a bottle of sparkling wine and six pack of beer.
"Hey, Steve!" Bucky grinned at his friend, tilting his head up and creasing his eyebrows. "Huh, I thought you were smaller."
"Who is that?"
"It is Buck!" Steve called, motioning for Bucky to come in and taking steps back, the clicking sound drawing Bucky's attention to his feet.
"What-" Bucky burst into laughter, seeing Steve's feet squeezed into two sizes too small pumps.
"Ah, my daughter!" Tony called playfully, coming out of the kitchen and joining them. "Air kisses!" he said and him and still laughing Bucky leaned closer to each other, smooching the air around their cheeks with an exaggerated 'muah' sounds. "I think you can take them off now, Steve," Tony said, turning to his boyfriend.
"Finally!" Steve breathed out, happily kicking off the pumps, his face saying pure relief. Tony slid his feet into the shoes and did a short test walk, before smiling wide.
"Perfect. Thanks, honey!"
"Beer?" still chuckling Bucky offered to Steve, holding the six pack and encouraging Steve to take a one. "You seem like you need a one, pal."
Steve couldn't agree more.
***
The place was getting crowded and more lively, as more drag queens started to appear. Tony's friend showed up next, boy name Bruce, drag queen name Lady Mint, who worked downtown and was a type of drag queen Tony referred to as a comedy queen, meaning exaggerated makeup and a witty, observant sense of humor. Bruce as a person seemed like a nice guy, a bit distant and in his own world, but Steve could picture that drag brought out a new side in him. Arrow showed fashionably late, carrying a stack of fashion magazines and fabric samples, the most invested into the costume design world of all queens.
It was loud and joyful and Steve was having fun.
"So, let me put it straight," Steve started sipping his beer when the party started for good.
"Ha! Straight!" Arrow hollered, swirling prosecco in her tall glass. "Your boyfriend is so cute, Red."
"I know," Tony beamed proudly and Steve continued.
"You are the multitalented one," he pointed out to Arrow, meaning her talent for designing clothes and nearly circus acts on stage, and Arrow held her chin proudly, "you are the funny one," he turned to Lady Mint, "and you are the pretty one," Steve ended on Red and then turned to Tootsie. "And that makes you-?"
"The alcoholic one!" Tootsie exclaimed, holding her beer can high, the rest of her sisters joining in a cheer.
"And Mint is not only the funny one, but she also has Ph.D. in nuclear physics and biochemistry," Red said and Steve whistled quietly, because, well that was impressive.
Mint smiled gratefully at her sister, and Steve had to add that she was also the modest of the group. "Red is also an academic."
"Oh, please," Red waved her hand dismissively, "I just have some doctorates, but I still chose to spend my days fixing the world's most respected car brands," she said, trying to brush it off as it was nothing, but there was some smug note in her voice she didn't try to hide.
"And I can burp out the alphabet," Tootsie bragged and Steve laughed together with everyone and heard Lady Mint turning to Tootsie and asking if she ever thought about doing a comedy routine.
Steve felt really good and maybe he would extend his stay, but then the hour for him to leave came.
"Hey, I will be going," Steve said, taking Red by the elbow and interrupting the discussion over a fashion magazine and material samples about if Red could pull off a dress with an open leg or not.
"Huh? Why?" Red asked, genuinely surprised. She thought Steve was enjoying himself. "Are you still worried we will put you in drag? Don't worry, we won't-"
"We won't?" Arrow asked, lifting her head up from the magazine, sounding disappointed.
"No amount of makeup will help that face," Tootsie grumbled out, teasing her friend, and Lady Mint snorted so hard, the prosecco came out through her nose and more laughter followed.
"Add that to your act, Minty!"
Someone called but Steve and Red already walked away from the chaos, Red watching Steve taking his jacket.
"You are welcomed to stay," Red said, sounding minimally hurt.
"I know, and I would love to," Steve replied, pulling his shoes on and smooching Velvet's forehead. "I just made plans earlier. Promised my mom to drop in for dinner, didn't see her in a while."
"Oh," Red blinked in surprise. That was a sweet surprise. "Uh, then say hello to Sarah from me," she smiled, her voice sounding a little odd as if hiding something, but Steve didn't notice.
"I will. Will see you tomorrow, okay?" Steve said, leaning in for a proper kiss. "Bye gu- girls!" he called in general direction of the gathering, hearing a collective bye in return.
"Bye," Red said with a soft smile, closing the door behind her boyfriend. She waited a bit at the door, in case if Steve would forget something, but he didn't come back. Before chaos could start again, Red turned to her sisters and daughter with a serious face and a burning question. "Okay, ladies, real talk time!" she called, clapping in her hands for attention and waited for all to focus on her. "What do you think of Steve?"
"Oh, he is gorg!"
"Seems like a decent guy."
"You can do better than that punk!"
Red just smiled and sipped her sparkling wine, hearing the collective thought exchange about her boyfriend. Except for Bucky's half-hearted remarks, everything was positive.
"It isn't important what we think, though," Arrow said, flipping a page in the magazine, "what is important is what you think. So?"
Everyone turned to her, waiting for the moment of truth. Red looked down, thinking about the last months with Steve. Steve was kind and honest and sweet. He had some hidden heat in himself and a lot of passion. But most importantly, he seemed to love both sides of him, equally fascinated by Red Velvet as by Tony Stark. Tony felt safe and loved and pampered, but Steve also wasn't afraid to give him a piece of his mind when needed. It was very rare to find a person like that.
"I like him," Red finally said, "a lot. I think I really like him."
Arrow hummed in agreement, Lady Mint smiled, glad for her sister finding happiness, and it was again Tootsie who had to spoil it all.
"Please don't tell me that my best friend will become my new dad, I won't handle it."
And just like that it became loud and cheerful again, and Red was outvoted on if she would look good in an open leg dress, but she could definitely wear a body tight dress with a slit in the back going all the way down because her bubble butt was one of her greatest features.
***
"Hey, ma!"
"Stevie!" Sarah brightened as soon as Steve walked into his childhood home. She went to greet her son, her voice becoming stern suddenly. "Did you wipe your shoes on the doormat?"
"Yes, ma'am," Steve nodded with a grin. Somethings don't change, no matter how old you get.
"That's my boy," Sarah praised and Steve leaned his head for a hello kiss on his cheek. "Go wash your hands before dinner."
"You need any help, ma?" Steve called after Sarah and took his shoes off, as the woman already moved back into the kitchen.
"No, just hurry up, before soup gets cold!"
Steve smiled to himself. Really, some things never change.
While Sarah was putting finishing touches on the mashed potatoes, Steve slowly finished a plate of tomato soup with noodles. His mom remembered that he wasn't a fan of the acidity in tomatoes and added a generous splash of sweet cream, making it smoother for the palate. With time, Steve's taste changed and he was better at handling more sour flavors, but still, the gesture was sweet and the soup tasted like his childhood. They didn't talk much, but the silence around them was so comforting and Steve just soaked in the serene atmosphere, feeling like a kid again.
"Ready. Eat up," Sarah smiled, putting in front of Steve a plate with a huge scoop of mashed potatoes and a generous portion of beef tips, all smothered with dark and shiny sauce. Delicious, homemade food.
"Thanks, ma," Steve smiled, taking his fork and watching his mom reaching her hand for his empty soup plate. "Please, ma. Leave it, I will clean later. Sit with me for a while."
Sarah seemed surprised, but smiled in the end, accepting the invitation. "I will just get us something to drink," she said, and Steve huffed a bit, wishing for his mom to finally sit down with him and rest. He kept his eyes fixed on his mom as she brewed tea for herself and poured a tall glass of lemonade for him, and Steve saw that there was something different about his mom, but he couldn't exactly point what. Chewing slowly on his food and savoring the taste, Steve kept thinking about what could have changed. His mom was always a beautiful woman, but she valued hard work over looks and as a nurse spent most of her days caring for others than for herself. Hair always tied in a low ponytail, almost no makeup, maybe for some people it was bland and boring, for Steve it was modest and natural. And now⊠Sarah's complexion seemed glowing, her pale skin having a healthy shine, hair seeming somehow thicker and brighter. When Sarah finally sat down across her son and smiled at him, Steve noticed that she was wearing mascara and had subtly contoured eyebrows, which gave definition to her whole face.
"Hey, ma," Steve said, taking a piece of the tender beef and mushroom on his fork and into his mouth. "You look different."
"What do you mean, dear?" Sarah asked, taking a sip of her tea. That drew Steve's attention to her hands which also changed, not calloused anymore after long hours from working, but smooth and soft, nails in neat, oval shape and coated with sheen nail polish. Just like Steve's were.
"I don't know," Steve said mysteriously, "but you look nice. Is there a reason you got all dolled up?" he asked playfully.
Sarah laughed embarrassedly, something Steve inherited from her. "So, you noticed, huh?" she asked back, looking down at her knees with a small smile. "I am just trying something new."
Steve nodded, silently chewing on the piece of meat. Since his dad died, years ago, he saw his mom closing in, struggling to find a place for herself. If a bit of makeup was what she needed to feel better, Steve supported that wholeheartedly.
"It is all thanks to your friend."
"Mhuh?" Steve said with a mouthful of potatoes, almost dropping his fork. "Dohny?"
"Dear, please," Sarah said in a petulant voice and Steve swallowed his food properly, before speaking again.
"Ma, did you mean Tony?" he asked, wiping his mouth with his sleeve which earned him another stern look.
"Yes, Tony," Sarah confirmed, meaningfully sliding a napkin closer to her son. "I bumped into him some time ago, and I asked him some more about skincare because the facial mask he recommended worked so well. Since then we stay in touch," she said and Steve could only listen and force his mouth to stay shut. He didn't know that Tony kept in touch with his mom. "It was his idea for me to start applying some makeup again and he recommended me a really good beautician and manicurist. My friends started to notice the change too, they say I look ten years younger," she laughed warmly.
"You always looked young, ma," Steve quickly cut in, meaning every word.
"That's sweet of you. Are you ready for dessert? Made your favorite," Sarah smiled, standing up and heading to the counter.
Steve bit his lower lip. Why Tony didn't tell him about being in touch with his mom? Was it because of the last time and the freakout he had when his mom saw him and Tony together, and Steve started to panic that she might suspect something? Seemed so⊠And Steve felt really bad, that he was ready to kiss Tony in front of strangers and basketball teams, but felt too guilty to hold his boyfriend's hand in front of his own mother. And Sarah seemed to get along well with Tony⊠AndâŠ
"Tadaaah!" Sarah exclaimed playfully, putting in front of Steve a perfect slice of a perfect apple pie. "Hope you still like it."
Steve loved it. But somethings he loved more. Someone.
"Ma⊠Please, sit down."
Sarah looked alarmed at the sudden change of tone and the serious look on her boy's face.
"I need to tell you something," Steve continued, trying to keep the trembling out of his voice. Now or never.
Sarah sat down, her face clouding with worry.
The apple pie had to wait.
***
It was late evening when Tony had just finished putting the leftover veggies into the fridge and straightened up, stretching his spine out. He could call the drag queens meeting a success, but he also felt so tired. He smiled when he saw a torn out page from the fashion magazine stuck to his fridge with a magnet, a ruby red maxi dress with an open back presented on a model and Arrow's print next to it.
'Think about it! Just lower!'
Tony chuckled, looking at the design. He would never walk out on the stage in a dress that showed his ass crack. Showing to Steve like that in the privacy of his home, was a totally different story⊠He took the page with himself and went to the bedroom, thinking that maybe he would try some new facial mask and take an extra long bath. He just finished changing into his tiny bathrobe, when he noticed his phone vibrating on the nightstand and Steve's photo flashing on the screen. Tony accepted the call, already smiling to the thought that Steve was so sweet and called him just to wish him a good night.
"Hi, honey! Did you miss me already?" Tony asked in a flirty tone, waiting for a reply that didn't come. "Uh⊠hello? Steve?" Tony tried again. There was some uneven breath on the other side, and before Tony could panic, Steve finally spoke in a hollow voice.
"I told my mom."
"Told your mom wha-" Tony's voice got stuck when he realized what Steve meant. Sarah was a sweet lady, but hearing that your child was gay was probably never easy, even for the most loving parents. Tony really feared what he might hear next. "Oh, sweetheartâŠ" he started in a voice so compassionate, the only answer he heard was a chocked out sob, Steve tried to hold in. "What happened?" Tony asked, not hearing the answer, just the sound of a car zooming past. "Wait⊠Steve, where are you?"
More silence. Tony could almost feel how tormented Steve was.
"Steve. Where the hell are you?" Tony asked, growing more and more worried. He heard enough of heartbreaking coming out stories and he would never live it down if Steve would become one of them.
"I am in front of your building."
"What-" Tony immediately got up from bed, running to the window, hoping to see his boyfriend. It turned dark already and he didn't see much. "I am coming for you, stay where you are."
"Tony-"
"Stay where you are," Tony ordered, ending the connection. He didn't care to change and only wrapped a coat around himself and slipped bare feet into a pair of sneakers, not wanting to waste any time. He grabbed his keys and his phone, just in case, and ran down the stairs, ignoring the elevator and finding it too slow in such an urgent situation.
"Steve!" Tony busted out of the building, running into the street and looking around the sidewalk, searching and hoping. He saw Steve where he said he was, just on the other side of the street. No wonder Tony didn't spot him at first. Tony crossed the street and stopped in front of his boyfriend and the sight was breaking his heart. Who knew for how long Steve had been standing like that. His cheeks were flushed from cold, eyes glossy and tired, and he still kept his phone pressed to his ear, listening to the silence.
"Honey⊠Come on, let's go. Please," Tony reached his hand for Steve's cold one, and gently tugged him over and together, step by step, they walked back into the building and back to Tony's apartment.

okay, since itâs Pride Month I feel like this might be a good time to say this:
I know that a lot of Christians (those who dare to call themselves Christians and make the good, normal Christians like me look bad) and ultra-religious people pour out all of their hatred on those in the LGBT community. I also know that there is a ton of oppression from other people too, but you just expect better from religious people.
I want all my LGBT followers, mutuals, friends, and everyone else to know that I am so sorry for how you are treated. No one deserves to be oppressed. No matter how different your opinions or beliefs are, hatred is never ever ever the answer.
Christians who are so stuck up and self-righteous and hypocritical that they canât spread Godâs love to literally everyone (like He told us to, hello, this is basic Sunday School stuff, why do some Christians seriously have issues with that) sometimes make me embarrassed to call myself one of them.
Itâs not right.
So, to all my LGBT followers, mutuals, friends, and everyone else:
I love you, I respect you, and you deserve all the love and happiness in the world, just like anyone else, why is this an issue for some people!!!!!
I really donât understand how hard it is to just love people!! Itâs our default!! idk, it makes me super mad when people are hateful.

I did this last year and decided to make one for 2020, to celebrate simming, the one source of joy I got out of this crapfest of a year.
I used the TumblrTop10 generator for my top CC uploads, which naturally get more traffic than my gameplay pics & photosets.
But I like giving a top 10 for my gameplay pics too, looking back at all my fave fandoms I incorporated into The Sims 3 throughout the year.
MY THOUGHTS (for each month) under the cut:
January: Skryim Werewolves
AAAAWWWOOOO~!
February: Voodoo & Necromancy
My theme for February was Voodoo and Necromancy. The irony doesnât escape me that I had my best creative boost (focused on morbid/macabre themes), right before the pandemic hit.
March-April: Roaring 3020s Gameplay!
These 2 months were all about my futuristic-Asian-scifi-artdeco/nouveau save in Oasis Landing, where I give the backstory of how Sakura and Ryuu first met. I always describe Sakura as a faery from the future, and this is what I mean by that; sheâs a jet-setting time-traveler. Yâall seemed to really like my posts of Sakura this month, particularly her arrival in Oasis Landing in March, and her One Four All challenge in April. But by far the post that got the most attention were my WIPs of Hotel Luck at the end of April, the headquarters of Ryuuâs best friend Luckyâs club.
May: Green Isle, and Malecâs Wedding!
May was totally dominated by my run-through of @crowkeeperthesimmer âs Green Isle (Beta) world. But the most emotionally driven gameplay pics I posted this month were actually from my Shadowhunters saves, where I finally got around to recreating Malecâs wedding, which I posted on their 1st year anniversary. ^_^ *blasts Ruelle*
June: Rainbows! đ
I started the month still gushing about how pretty Green Isle is, which was great, cuz it was Pride Month! đłïžâđ Because the events of Summer 2020 were downright disgusting, I had Bartros & Nagron, and Gwynburn & Malec do community work in honor of LGBT+ and Black Lives Matter solidarity.
July: Bleach Gameplay starts!
I have been dying to start sharing my Bleach inspired gameplay for months. Bleach is one of my Top 5 fave anime, quite possibly even Top 3 (itâs tied with Attack on Titan). So I tried my best to do the anime justice in TS3, giving me recreation of Episode 1, when Ichigo Kurosaki becomes a shinigami. I plan on doing A LOT more; itâs just gonna take awhile. Â
August: Sakura & Ryuu in What? Magazine
Technically, my Sim Bin Collage Pt2 got the most notes this month, but thatâs not really gameplay. Even though I posted a bunch of Dragon Age gameplay, people were far more interested in Sakuraâs post, particularly my fake What Magazine post, where I trolled yâall with a tabloid spread of Sakura and Ryuu caught by the paps getting frisky in the park.
September: Dragon Retexture WIPs Pt2
According to the Chinese, 2020 is the Year of the Rat, but I was all the way in the Year of the Dragon, baby! #SquadGoals #BoyBandRealness (And I was back in Green Isle AGAIN, lol!)
October: Dragon Master
I love Simblreen, and the Halloween season; it always puts me in a creative mood. But the best inspiration I got this year was after my anime marathon binge of the Bleach spinoff, Burn the Witch, which gave me the idea to make dragons as functional magic broomsticks. I had the occult household from my Deathless gameplay test out all the CC I made for Simblreen. Everyone seemed to really like that, and I was so happy!
November: Shinto Shrine vs DA:I - Tevinter
Another classic example of the photosets I did the bare minimum on that get like twice the amount of notes as posts Iâm insanely proud of. XD
I try to upload CC at least once a month, but Iâve had such low motivation this year that come November I was scrambling trying to think of something to make. Then TS4âČs Snowy Escape EP came out and I was like BINGO. So I did all of that in a few days, really quickly, and cracked open my Moon Medicine save to test the CC & take pics. No big.
But Iâve been working hard on my Dragon Age INSP gameplay & pics for well over a YEAR, and I had been so excited to start posting my Tevinter gameplay with Dorian Pavus. That Blood Magic post got far less traction, but thatâs like the best photoset I think I made all year. Crazy how Tumblr works. :\
December: A Bunch of Stuff Happened, Holy Cow!
First there was the Pinterest Challenge, which yâall really seemed to like. Then I did another installment of BrennaIvyâs Modern Male Project (which got the most notes for December). Then I did Magnus Baneâs birthday post for the Shadowhunters fandom, which is usually one of my more popular posts. But then I posted my WIPs of my Maximalism set, and yâall really REALLY liked that one, so basically I was so so happy this December! :D
