I'm not going to do anything sentimental or mushy as a new year message or recap - I don't have it in me, and as much as I'd love to participate in all the amazing end of year tag games going around, I simply don't have the spoons (though please keep tagging me, I love to see what you all contribute to these things 💛).

I will just simply say, thank you for being part of my year. you've all been a consistent bright spot in an otherwise very murky year.

the last two weeks especially have been... something else, and I've been leaning thoroughly on something I wrote in solstice, because I needed a fictional character to believe it so I could believe it too.
