i don't really do new years resolutions, I'm sort of terrible at them. but I've decided on some things to stick to for 2025. to keep doing or to do more of.

listening and learning from people

writing as much and as often as i can (even when it's terrible)

keep reading published books as well as fanfic (wolfstar fanfic you'll always be my number 1)

keep going to see and hear live music

to stay sober (3 years, 3 months, 15 days and counting!)

to continue to make decisions based on empathy and kindness

carry on supporting queer artists, writers and creatives

keep learning to not be too nervous to talk about being POC or Middle Eastern in public

be better at replying to people and not let the dark and scaries get in the way. but also be better at boundaries with this

keep finding ways to be creative

keep on keeping on! staying alive, etc. all that good stuff. fuck 2024 for real, one of the worst years of my life and ended the lowest of the low.

i hope that 2025 is gentle to all of us who need it. i hope we have space and time to pick up the pieces and start to put together what looks like a beautiful life. i hope we find love in the softest places. and i hope life stops railing me like remus and sirius, leave that to the smutty fics please and thanks, i am tired.
