Trick or treat?

trick or TREAT, my friend, have a snippet!

Voices, then. Fuzzing in and out of the edges of his hearing but indisputably there, and the next gutted cry owes more to relief than anything else. Voices come with hands and feet that make the rats go away. Grabbing tails, swinging hard, kicking and catching between foot and wall or down into the grey and rushing river.  (Nalen had died in the night, and none of them had noticed until the snout came up through his belly.) The echoes of the agony reverberate oddly in the space so abruptly empty. Every inhale tastes moldy, every exhale catching on another sobbing wail, the sudden absence of pain as disorienting as its onset. (He’d made a little noise, hadn’t he? And Ben had shushed him, assuming fever, the mumbles of the dying- but the rats don’t wait-)

Of course I had to doodle the spoopy boy before the spoopy month is over :) he just got adopted made a new friend ฅ⁠^⁠•⁠ﻌ⁠•⁠^⁠ฅ

[It was becoming increasingly clear that he wasn't her Sans. He sure looked like him but-this was different. HE was different. Sure, maybe affection hadn't been his forté, maybe his sense of humor was darker than what was generally acceptable, maybe he'd always been cagey and distant but...not something like this, never this. Nobody ever wanted to find out they had been dating a murderer.

The soft sing-song of her name usually made her perk up. All it did now was send a bucket of ice water down her spine. There was something so utterly terrifying about knowing that you're a hairsbreadth away from death. She presses her hands harder over her mouth, squeezing further back against the counter, silently willing him to keep walking...

"tell you what, kid," Sans starts, too close. She suppresses a flinch as she hears him lean against the counter. "you're being pretty damn stubborn about this. but i do like you...so tell ya what! you make it to dawn without getting caught, i'll take the hint and leave you be. how's that sound?"

She doesn't reply, but he takes it as a yes anyways. He always liked doing that.]

I really liked adding some of my headcanons, like them as Nirvana fans/listeners (Stan's t-shirt [which is also my first Nirvana t-shirt, me projecting myself onto Stan as always 🫡] and Kyle's In Utero poster). Also, I've added a poster of The Cure and the Toxicity album from SOAD too :3

And my favourite one, Kyle's pendant with the C of Crimson Dawn <33 Stan gave it to him when they were 14 and it is secretly his favourite possession (although he has never admitted it, he always wears it).

And well that's all, it's my first time drawing Stan with bleached hair like Trey's, I don't know if I'll keep it for other drawings but for now I like it :]
