Hay of course i'm here to give you some nonsense something to read to HAHAHA

First of all, Happy Valentine's Day Everyone !!!! Did you have a good day today? I hope you are well and good, have your special someone greeted you already? Or did he/she give you something to surprise you? Are you surprise either HAHAHA

Well I am too, not greeted, not something to surprise me but still I'm surprised on myself, HAY NAKU i'll elaborate everything so that I can breath already, this writing releases my unreleased thoughts that i want others to know but i can't say to them.

If you remember I first reopened my writing chenes here last 2022, and if as I remember I started doing online chatting, my last was Nikolas I think? But I stopped chatting with him why? He's married and has 2 kids (the nerve HAHAHA), after that I have another 2 guys to talk to until I met Sami.

Sami, the one im talking to up to present AHAHA. He's from London though, 32 that time, studying and super sweet. By the way his birthday is coming 25th of February na uyyy. We first met at online dating app (my coworkers influenced HAHAHA) on 2022 of May, his consistency on messaging me everyday makes my attention divert to him, i'm not interested in the first time because i have currently have someone to talk to on whatsapp too but his persistent and consistent messages makes me stopped talking to Ricky and talk to him instead, in fairness to Sami AHAAHAH were still talking.

Like something like that always, that is something new to me, no ones asking me that (it feels good pala that someone asked you), he's my rant person na since 2022, hes listens to my all problem that day, all my encountered situations, family problem, what frustrates me, he always listens and give some good words to cool down my mood from grumpy to okay mood.

I guess not all we meet is can be what we imagined they will be, (disclaimer we not meet in person just video HAHAHA, every weekends and we have 8 hrs different time) why we video call on weekends because i don't have work that day that we can talk up to 2-3 hours i guess, like when saturday morning here in philippines, its friday evening there, so he's done at his part time job and classes, then on the 2023 everything changes HAHAHA that's what a relationship feels like? It started a week before his birthday. He seldom messaged me it was unusual. It takes 8 hrs to reply. So I ask and message him and I received explanation but in the next day, the overthinking inner self (maybe he’s with someone HAHAHA) I pass by that explanation and continue with him but it continues the same scenario on his birthday Ive greeted him but he replied on the next day again, after that I lie low on him i didnt reply quickly too and now he notice and ask me if we have a problem or i was mad on him ba? You know what? I've said all the differences that I notice in the past weeks. Oh he said sorry naman so don't worry we're okay naman after that HAHAHA HAROWT!!

Then, he greeted on the 1st year of being continue talking, but were not the same as 2022 everyday and every hour he always message but i guess that changes too because on June or July I discovered that he graduated at his study na on Feb but he didnt say about it. I asked for the grad pic though but he said in his friend daw (oooohkay) i didn't pursue the grad pic because he said he was gonna ask for it for his friend. I said it was okay (but inner self im screaming maybe on his new girl na or new special someone na).

We seldom talk na and the updates are not consistent anymore but he has a message everyday but you know the feeling when something changes. Then i decided to stop na I didn't reply to his messages for the straight 3 days but i've seen all his message, then one day when he bombed me messages and call i've replied and said all the feeling those days that i felt neglected, he says sorry though and we continue again what we started (HAYS WAKE UP GIRL, HE HAS NO PLAN HAHAHAHA) that what i've always thought but i'm still hoping.

Actually, we have 3 or 4 that i've decided to stop but still forgive him HAY NAKU, i stop sending everyday pictures (selfies and updates) that he was asking everyday, and he seldom sending too AHAHAH ANG GAGONG YUN, but the feeling that he has someone there that was near him bothered me and never neglect on my mind (is its weird? Or i didn't trust him) he always said naman he's just busy with work and no time for that, that only me that he was interested in (HUWAW ANG SWEET NG GAGO) HAHAHA

Hay naku this writing is like im narrating all my ‘journey’ with him (not literally journey) but guess what 3 or 4 times he said he want to meet me in person and goes here in philippines he ask for me to check if theres possible flight to booked to but scared inner me said to him ‘don't rush we can meet soon, just done what you need there’ HAHAHAH (OH AYAN GAGA OVERTHINK KA NGAYON AHAHAHA).

Until now I still overthink that thought that he was with someone there but i give up on always wanting to break up with him, (ooops i forgot to tell we were official na on june 2022 HAHAHA) HAROWT!!!! But you know he always messages naman but the excitement was not there anymore it's just me maybe on him too, i stopped accepting video calls too since last year i've always reasoned that i was late waking up but i'm awake when he message in the morning.

Now I'm still waiting for him to stop messaging me so I can move on. Do I? I've already fallen since October 2022 because that the 1st replied to him that you know you know (love back?) HAHAHAHAHHAHA. I have scenarios in my mind when he confesses to stop na (I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS HAHAHA), i'm tired asking for a break because at the end of the day i've always forgiven so i'm just waiting for him to get tired of messaging me.

Will we get tired of this setup? When will he be?

Royal Mail could reduce the number of days it delivers letters from six per week to five or even three, under proposals to reform the service.

A report from the regulator said the postal service was “getting out of date” and action needed to be taken.

Ofcom said another option would be extending the number of days it takes for most letters to be delivered.

Royal Mail said its current delivery network was “not sustainable” and that reform was “urgently needed”.

The company, which was split from the Post Office and privatised a decade ago, is legally obliged to deliver a one-price-goes-anywhere universal service, which means it has to deliver letters six days per week, Monday to Saturday, and parcels Monday to Friday.

In recent years, the volume of letters being posted has plummeted, with half the number being sent compared to 2011 levels, while parcel deliveries have become more popular – and more profitable.

Royal Mail’s performance has also deteriorated, with customers regularly not receiving letters about medical appointments and legal documents on time.

Dame Melanie Dawes, Ofcom’s chief executive, said the regulator was sharing options for reforming the service, putting them out for “national discussion”, with an update scheduled for the summer.

“Something’s got to give, or the service is going to be too costly, and either stamp prices will go up or it will become unsustainable,” she told BBC Breakfast.

‘Saturdays sacrosanct’

The government has said it does not support the idea of scrapping postal deliveries on Saturdays.

Kevin Hollinrake, the postal services minister, told the BBC Royal Mail needed to “up their game” and that the government was “happy to have a conversation” about reforms.

But he insisted that Saturday deliveries were “sacrosanct” and that a six-day service would remain.

On Wednesday the prime minister, Rishi Sunak, said the government was “absolutely committed” to ensuring the Royal Mail’s universal service obligations remained as they were.

Saturday post should stay, government says

Ofcom estimated the company could save between £100m and £200m a year if delivery days were cut to five per week, and between £400m and £650m if there were just three postal days.

However, reforming the postal service by cutting delivery days would require the government and parliament to change the current legislation.

An alternative option would be to to reduce the speed of delivery for most letters to within three days. That would save £150 to £650m, Ofcom said, but the regulator said there would still need to be a next-day service available for any urgent letters.

Under Ofcom’s current rules, each year Royal Mail is required to deliver 93% of First Class post within one working day and 98.5% of Second Class within three working days, but in 2022/23 the company only delivered 73.7% of First Class and 90.7% of Second Class mail on time.

That has left many customers dissatisfied, among them Peter Rimmer, from Ormskirk, Lancashire, who told the BBC he already only seems to get post once a week.

The former communications director, 78, said his post arrives in a bundle from a different postie each time.

Last week a Christmas card arrived that had been posted on the 8 December with the correct address and first class stamp on it. “It’s not a regular service,” he said.

Royal Mail has previously made clear it would like to shift from delivering six days a week to five, from Monday to Friday only. The business, which is owned by International Distribution Services plc, posted a £319m loss in the first half of the current financial year.

Martin Seidenberg, Royal Mail’s group chief executive, said a “lack of action” on reforms before, now meant the business faced a “much more serious situation”.

But the Communication Workers Union (CWU), which represent posties, said the union would not sign up to a three-day delivery service, claiming it would “destroy” Royal Mail and “impact thousands of jobs”.

‘No easy pass’

The UK was “not alone” in needing to reform its postal service, Ofcom said. It noted Sweden, Belgium, Norway and Denmark had either reduced delivery days or extended delivery times for letters in recent years.

But Dame Melanie said neither reducing delivery days nor extending delivery times would represent an “easy pass” for the company as it would still have to meet set delivery targets.

Ofcom said the company’s recent poor performance, which led it being fined £5.6m for missing its delivery targets, showed that people were not currently getting a reliable service. The regulator said its research showed people valued affordability and reliability the most when it came to letter postage.

Morgan Wild, interim director of policy at the charity Citizens Advice, said any changes to the universal postal service must prioritise consumers, “not Royal Mail’s bottom line”.

“We agree that improving reliability is essential,” he added. “Cutting services won’t automatically make letter deliveries more reliable, so we must see proposals to tackle the cause of Royal Mail’s persistent failings.”

HOW WE ALL WERE NOT PREPARED FOR SAMSTAG 20:55???? I still haven’t recovered to be honest. It was the biggest pleasant surprise for me from Druck ever. Once I finished watching that clip I was like “omg fandom is going to die. It will be so fun!!” XD

HOW WE DIED AGAIN THE MORNING AFTER? Because Matteo got to ask questions and David answered them? Them being totally sweet and dorky and just *sighs*. Also Matteo interacting with Laura?? GOLD.

how the one brain cell squad delighted us once more when David hung out with them for the first time? Davenzi being casually affectionate and the boys not making a big deal about it in any way? As it should be?

how the boys followed David on IG that afternoon and he followed them back? How David was officially added to the “ok.cool” WhatsApp chat? How he became officially one member of the boy squad? UGH, I LOVED THAT.

how everyone showed up at school to support David for his appointment with the PE teacher and the principal? Crewlove indeed!

how episode 10 still gave us reasons to discuss Matteo’s mental health? Despite some saying the show dropped that after episode 7?

Enchanted

Sitting at the bench, scarf and coat tight around her, Eleonora Sava calmly waited for her friends.

The bell had just rung, clear signal that the break started now and students could leave their classes.

She had went to a doctors appointment earlier and arrived around five minutes ago, opting to not go to class for just 5 minutes of lesson and just sit there to wait.

Eleonora saw a few students go out to the playground, chatting and eating sandwiches. Nothing new. But then she saw Giovanni Garau leaning on a tree in front of her with his arms crossed around his chest and her attention was all on him.

Eva had been talking about him this past weeks non stop. It seemed Sofia l’Argentina and Giovanni had started dating and a very curious Eva asked Gio about it, which ended with very nasty looks thrown by Sofia to Eva and whispering all the time with her friends whenever Eva was around.

Sofia was probably jealous, or cautious, about Eva approaching Giovanni.

Eleonora didn’t understand why though, after all if they were dating that meant that they felt something for each other. Just because Eva was Gio’s ex didn’t mean anything.

She had voiced her thoughts about it with the girls, but most of them didn’t agree with her. Silvia said that it was normal, that probably Sofia feared Eva would steal her boyfriend.

You can’t steal someone, people are human beings with feelings anymore and thoughts. It’s not like Giovanni is a toy and Eva is going to steal it, Silvia! she had refuted what her friend had said, but Sana was also with Silvia on this.

The brunette blinked a few times and sighed, not because Giovanni was now fully making out with her girlfriend against the tree, but because her friends were late.

As usual, nothing new.

Her attention was still on the affectionate couple, clearly very into each other, and her mind started working further than she would have wanted.

Relationships.

Love.

It looked nice to have someone to hug, talk and love. Relationships seemed hard to her, for almost all boys she had met only wanted sex and nothing else, but she had always been a romantic girl.

When Eleonora had been 13, she had idealized this popular boy at her old school. Every girl was in love with him back then, and she had also been star struck. One day he had also looked back when she was admiring him from afar, smiled and winked at her. Later that day, he had asked her on a date and she had happily accepted.

She had thought that would be the first of many dates to come, that he would be her boyfriend and her his girlfriend.

Oh, how wrong had she been!

He took her to his house, they watched the Blair Witch movie and had sex on his sofa. She didn’t even enjoy the sex, but still thought that it meant something for the both of them.

Next day at school when she tried to approached him, he was making out with some other girl.

The same happened the next days but with different girls.

It had made her feel stupid, weak and pathetic. She had cried almost all that week after that, then she came to the conclusion that he had dumped her because she was not pretty enough or good enough. All those girls were tall, skinny and pretty.

She didn’t see herself as that at all.

So she almost starved herself to death, working out every day and trying stupid diets that she found online or in books at the library. It only ended when one day she fainted in front of Filippo, who took her to the Hospital and stayed with her while she was hospitalized.

For a whole month.

Eleonora chewed her lower lip while remembering, after all those memories would always haunt her. How stupid and naive she had been back then, all for a boy who wasn’t worthy.

“Hello, beautiful.”

She almost jumped from the bench, Eleonora had been so immersed on her thoughts that she had not seen the tall boy standing besides her bench, facing her with a goofy smile.

Edoardo was smiling while looking at her. That damned smile put together with a leather jacket and those messy curls, he looked ugly to her.

Very ugly.

Not handsome, charming and irresistible at all.

She rolled her eyes and sighed as an answer, clearly not interested in him.

He gave a throaty laugh at her antics, still staring at her with shiny eyes and soft smile.

“What do you want, Eduardo?” her voice all tense, trying to keep her cool.

“A date.”

She laughed, but no humor was behind it.

“Not gonna happen.”

Edoardo nodded, his lips curling his lips in a childish way. Not cool at all.

“Eleonora, I believed we talked about this back at your friends birthday party. And…”

She huffed.

“Eduardo, it’s been what? Three months since that? I’m sure there are some other girls out there who would love that, but not me.” she looked up, for he was taller than her and her sitting position didn’t help much with this. “Give up already.”

He just stared at her, their eye battle almost leaving her breathless with its intensity. She couldn’t figure out all those emotions she saw on his face, his jaw clenched and lips pursed.

Then he surprised her by kneeling at her side, as close as possible, stare not dropping.

“I won’t give up. It’s not about my damned ego if that is what you think.” he gave a small smile. “Is it that hard to believe that i’m completely bewitched by you?”

“Body and soul? Who are you, Mr. Darcy?” she tried not to smile, as hard as possible, but a small one appeared on her red lips. “Please, try not to copy great characters. That won’t change my perception of you, Eduardo.”

He laughed softly, clearly understanding the reference.

“Enchanted.” his smile was so soft, her heart almost did a somersault right there because of it. “You have enchanted me. It’s not only how about how beautiful you are, because you are are fucking beautiful. But there is more, much more. And I just want to know you better.”

She had been left breathless.

Boys like Edoardo Incanti broke hearts wherever they went, she had already experienced that years ago and Silvia was almost obsessed with him.

This couldn’t end well.

But he was looking at her like that, with that soft smile, all full of charm and wittiness. Eyes only on her almost everyday, no matter how much she ignored him, if she looked just once back his attention was full on her.

He truly seemed interested in her.

“I—“

“Edoardo!?”

They both looked behind, the Le Matte standing behind them with curiosity all over their faces.

Silvia was smiling and her eyes shined with expectation, almost not even paying attention to Eleonora sitting there. The others were almost analyzing the whole picture, not awestruck or infatuated as Silvia was of Edoardo.

“Ele?” Eva asked worried, or curious, but Eleonora only payed attention to Silvia.

Silvia, who had been hurt and used by him. Her dear friend, who was naive and too good, but so loving and supporting of her.

Endless messages and video chats while she was studying abroad in Manchester, who almost everyday told her how much she missed her or how she had saw something that remembered of her.

Her Silvia.

Eleonora’s eyes felt moist, tears ready to start falling down her cheeks.

She felt like the worst person ever.

Perhaps Edoardo saw it in her eyes, the shame and guilt, or how tensed her body got.

But she noticed him standing, all cool and poised, facing her friends.

“Hey there, Friday night, party at my house. You are all invited.”

Federica laughed happily while Sana smiled at Silvia, who seamed on the verge of squealing out loud.

“We will come, of course we will go!” she answered quickly.

“Fuck yeah, I need a good party after studying too much.” Fede said, nodding to what she had said.

“What study are you talking about? You have flunked your two exams.” Sana tried hard to suppress her laugh.

“That’s because of the teachers, they asked things we didn’t even cover at class! How could I have known that crap?!”

Silvia laughed almost too quickly.

“We will be there, don’t mind them. See you, Edoardo!”

He might have nodded, or perhaps said something, but Eleonora didn’t pay much attention to him.

Edoardo left, heard her friends biding him goodbye, but her undivided attention wasn’t on him at all.

Only on Silvia.

She was smiling so bright.

The guilt of what she had felt while her friend was oblivious to everything and then seeing her all happy, about Edoardo personally inviting her to the his party, it was too much.

Eleonora Sava felt bad, probably the worst she had felt in a long long time. She was a shitty friend.

Federica and Silvia quickly sat besides her while Sana and Eva stood in front of them, clearly exited about the party.

“Ele, did she ask for me?” Silvia asked excited.

She snapped out of her daydream when she heard her name called.

All the girls looking at her, expectation and curiosity in the air.

“Err… he asked where my friends were and said something about the party?” she babbled quickly, smiling at Silvia and the others.

They kept chatting and making plans about Friday night, but she didn’t care at all about the stupid party.

Her feelings were a mess, she was a mess.

She felt a hand on her shoulder, worry all over Eva’s face. The red hair knew her too well.

You okay? her friend mouthed.

She nodded, giving her a sort of convincing smile. Probably Eva would ask her about it later on, but not in front of the others. She wouldn’t put her under the focus of such a delicate matter as Edoardo Incanti while the others were there.

Her phone vibrated on her coat’s left pocket, Eleonora took it out and checked it.

A message on WhatsApp.

She didn’t even have to unlock her phone, the notification displayed the message right there.

I meant it, Eleonora.

By fucking Edoardo Incanti.
