Community Outreach
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Date - October 19th, 2022
From our 'bridging the gaps' fundraiser, we managed to raise an astonishing amount of 21,000 Indian Rupees. The entire school community decided to use these funds raised for a great cause, which was buying items for the Apahaj Ashram, and Pingla Ghar located in Jalandhar, India, for the second part of the Community Outreach. Diwali was soon coming on the 21st of October, so we all collectively decided that we wanted to put a smile on the resident's of the Ashram (old-age home and orphanage)'s faces. We delivered Diyas (Indian candles), food and winter necessities to each and every single one of the residents. Through our journey, we were met with emotional responses from those who did not even expect their Diwali, the festival of lights to light on that day of October. When we went there, I remember going into a room with elderly women and giving one of them a Diya. She told me 'Bless you child, you will do so good in life for making me happy. Thank you for bringing back Diwali for me' whilst in tears. Ultimately, I also broke down into tears because it was unfortunate where she and even the other residents ended up. Though it was a type of 'home' for them, it would never be their true home, and that's what made me grateful to my home right now. It was an honor helping these people and putting a smile on their face. One thing I learned from this is that kindness should be mandatory for every single person because you never know what they go through. Through my experience, I really enjoyed putting a smile on each and everyone's faces at the Ashram and listening to them, as well as befriending them. It was truly a pleasure to be there and an emotional rollercoaster. Time spent - 5 hours and 30 minutes

THE BIGGEST GODLY SECRET OF MODERN TIMES, REVEALED! SATHYA SAI BABA IS ALIVE TODAY, & FOR NEXT 7 DAYS (ALL TIME ZONES) !
Time's come to reveal the biggest Godly secret of modern times!
BHAGWAN SHRI SATHYA SAI BABA IS STILL PHYSICALLY ALIVE TODAY! He was transported secretly to an undisclosed location at time of burial, where he still resides in his physical body today!
By his own prophecy, he was to live till age of 96, which would've made his physical death somewhere btwn Nov 23, 2022 & Nov 23,2023! That date's been chosen by him to be Nov 20,2023, the date by which, we believe, the secret mission he'd started off on,to dismantle Freemasonry would've completed.
This 'vanvasa' period of 12 yrs undertaken by him, to put all pieces into place, for his final assault on this world-destroying devil's order,& importantly, distract his enemies clinging like two-faced leeches onto him for decades, at bay, & operate in peace!
And this whole project nicknamed, (infact by Amma herself!), as 'Operation Wheelchair', after Baba's now famous wheelchair act, starting 2005, which is when this entire facade, or in this case 'Krishna leela', began!
Let's celebrate the last 5 days of his physical existence, as real Diwali, WHEN RAM RETURNS TO HIS RIGHTFUL THRONE, TO BLESS HIS (NOT EXACTLY PHYSICAL,Y ET TO BE ASSUMED SO IN OUR AWARENESS!) SEAT OF RULE, BEFORE ACTUAL BODILY DEPARTURE FROM THIS EARTH!
HAPPY DIWALI, FRIENDS! ЁЯкФ
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And for those asking as to when I found out!?
THIS is the moment! ie Watching this scene in film, is when I was made to ask this qun-"You are alive, Baba !?"
..& the entire mystery, in full set of sub-q&a's, was revealed!
BABA IS TIGER, KING OF JUNGLE!
Tumblr media
And do you know why baba chose 20th Nov, specifically to be announced as date of his actual physical passing,& not 21st or 22nd?
Coz 20th Nov is 20-11-2023, also signifying the period 2011-2023, & his 12yrs vanvasa, in which his pledged work was finally completed!
3 Days To Go!
Tumblr media
And now when his devotees say, "Baba died in 2011" they wouldn't be lying!
Baba would have really died in 20.11, afterall!
Prabhu "Bees Gyarah" mein vakay prasthan kar gaye honge!
His real worshippers wouldn't be speaking falsehoods about "SATHYA" Sai Baba, anyhow, this way, you see!

Diwali 2022 | Deepavali 2022 | Diwali Puja Date, Timing, Shubhmuhurat
Tumblr media
In India, Diwali is a well-known and fortunate holiday. Look for the date of Deepavali in 2022 as well as the favorable Shubh Muhurat time.
The biggest event for Indians is called Deepavali or Diwali. For Hindus, the holiday of Diwali is very significant since it marks the start of the New Year and serves as their equivalent of the New Year. Due to its religious significance, the Diwali festival is also significant. After completing his exile, Lord Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya and vanquished Ravana. The Hindus have observed this day as a festival when Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya. Burning charms made of ghee was done, and Lord Ram was worshipped. Diwali falls on Monday, October 24, 2022.
Significance and Importance of Diwali
This holiday, which celebrates the success of truth over lies and of good over evil, is always of great religious significance. While the Diwali holiday has religious significance on the one hand, it is also thought to bring people together in society. By putting aside their animosity and rumors, everyone comes together and unites forever. The Deepawali or Diwali festival is crucial for fostering inter-religious harmony. Tell us about the festival's procedures and some fascinating anecdotes that have to do with it. Let's learn about the festival's methodology and some fascinating anecdotes that relate to it.
Why Diwali always falls in the month of Kartika?
The Diwali or Deepawali holiday is well-known to everyone. It is a festival that is observed with ghee-filled celebrations. Even though it is the new moon night, that night is considered absolutely unlucky, especially for the Hindus in India. It is one of India's most well-known holidays. Diwali is the festival of lights. The Hindu month of Kartika, which usually falls in October or November, is the time when it is commemorated. Thousands of lights were lit on this day to welcome God, and people celebrate Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile by lighting bonfires. The act of dispelling darkness with light is a metaphor for shedding light on ignorance and illuminating the world.
Diwali is both a celebration that illuminates us and a festival that bestows upon us health, happiness, and prosperity. For these reasons, people also worship Goddess Lakshmi on this day. Diwali is also known as Prakashotsav for this reason. The holiday of Diwali will be observed this year on Monday, October 24, 2022.

When is Diwali in 2022 or Diwali Shubh Muhurat
Diwali 2022 date: 24th October 2022, Monday
2022 Lakshmi Puja Muhurat┬а - 18:54:52 to 20:16:07
Pradosh Kaal - 17:43:11 to 20:16:07
Taurus - 18:42 to 20:37
Amavasya Timing begins - at 5:27 PM (24th October)
Amavasya Timing ends - at 4:18 PM (25th October)
In addition to Diwali or Deepawali, additional celebrations like Deepdan, Dhanteras, Govardhan Pooja, Bhai Duj, etc. coincide with this holiday. This celebration lasts for an entire week.
Why do people give more importance to Diwali?
Diwali is a very significant event from a cultural, social, religious, and economic perspective. Since everyone celebrates this celebration in their own way, there is no longer any religious discrimination between people. People from many cultures come together for this festival, taking the time to get to know one another. For those who are unable to pray throughout the year, this day serves as a place of prayer, and in these days, one of the poorest of the impoverished Boom is to save Diwali for the entire year.
Despite the fact that celebrations like Diwali go by several names over the globe, it is a very significant holiday for Hindus in India. Consult the top astrologers in India right away to make this Diwali 2019 more advantageous for you and your family!
On Diwali Goddess, Lakshmi will arrive at your home
The goddess of wealth, Lakshmi, can be obtained on this day, which is highly auspicious. One should observe a full day of fasting before offering prayers to Goddess Lakshmi in the "Sadhargaon" of "Pradosh Kaal" after dusk. The proper time should be allotted for Pooja. The entire house should be cleaned for the Goddess' arrival, depending on where the worship is being conducted.
On the day of Diwali or Deepawali, Kuber Ji should also be worshipped at home with Lakshmi Ji, according to legend. The god of wealth and protector of wealth is Kuber Ji. Therefore, Kuber Ji, the home should be honored on the day of Diwali. At the same time, it is also stated that seeing an owl outside the home or a lizard within the house on Diwali is very auspicious.
Lakshmi Ji's chariot is an owl, hence people worship him before Diwali. On the day of Diwali, the house is cleaned, Lord Ganesha and Lakshmi Ji are worshipped, and then Lord Rama is worshipped. It is requested to God that Lakshmi Ji would reside in the house for the foreseeable future and that it will be a happy home.

the days WE met
10/05/2020 (chai at her place)
16/02/2021 (met during my evening walk with her niece and next few days too but didn't talk because her mom was present)
07/12/2021 (didn't meet exactly just saw eachother while i was driving)
4/05/2022 (hugged twice, technically it's 2nd but i consider this as first date, gave her the gift i got her from goa)
19/05/2022 (hugged twice, was planning to say "i missed you" but didn't because coward ЁЯШВ. i was the one who initiated the plan this time)
12/06/2022 (i was walking by a park and she was there with her niece, i recognized her first and called her phone but she didn't answer so i walked closer to her and said hi, she smiled and said hi. ngl there was a glow in her smile, i really liked it. although she was wearing a mask i could see her smile because of the crinkle near her eyes. didn't talk much but it felt nice, exactly what i needed to get my mind of stupid thoughts) 1 2
14/06/2022 ( today i discovered her 2┬╜ year old niece is scared of strangers, incl. me. because of that one thing i had to go away within 10 minutes of meeting her because her niece was scared and it was her play time in the garden. i mean broooo aaj mujhe dekhke usne khud bola talk a u turn and come with us to the garden because i was walking alone in the opposite direction and it felt nice but then woh bacchi darr gyi and i had to leave ЁЯШнЁЯШФЁЯТФ)
30/06/2022 ( we met, it was raining and we still met. i was all drenched in rain and yet she hugged me twice like always ЁЯе░. we ate cake, even shared the same pieceЁЯе░ЁЯе░ЁЯе░. it was just so nice. meeting her is always worth the waitтЩея╕П.)
27/07/2022 (was on my usual evening walks saw her from far away coming back after grocery shopping, first she signed that im on a call will talk later, so i walked away but still looking back at her every 2 seconds and it was worth it because she looked back and called me to come here. i initiated the hug but her phone rang so she said wait, so i stepped back ЁЯШВ then she hugged and i crouched a little too much and she said are you sweating????? i nodded, gave her my napkin she wiped it and we walked for 15 minutes тЩея╕ПЁЯе║)
30/07/2022 (i was walking with my friend, and he was late for some reason. after 1 round i saw an auto rickshaw going towards HER society and i caught a glimpse of HER because it's just so easy for me to recognize her anytime anywhere. i ran so i could see her and there she wasЁЯе║ЁЯе║ЁЯе║. i walked behind her waiting for her to be done with the rickshaw driver and she turned around, looked at me, smiled and said no i won't hug you, you must be sweating, i made that puppy face and said noooo i am not, just let me ЁЯе║ЁЯШВ. she touched my arm to check and said okay, so we hugged ЁЯе░, talked for few minutes because she had to get home with all the groceries and stuff but it was SOOOOOO good we met today, i hope we meet again tomorrow because it's going to be a special dayтЩея╕ПтЩея╕П. but it's kind of sad that we have hugged only once the last two times we met because of my stupid sweatЁЯе▓ЁЯе▓ЁЯе▓)
04/09/2011 (HOLY FUCK i finally met her after 30+ days of hell, YES WE HUGEED, TWICE. i gave her the chocolate she loves, she said we'll only meet for 5 minutes but we ended up spending 45 minutes together. i kind of confessed indirectly way too many times today, she was happy about it, ig. anyways a really great start to my birthday month, LESSS GOOOO BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!)
24/10/2022 (the moment we saw each other we ran to hug as quickly and tightly as possible, diwali sach main happy ho gyiтЩея╕П. things have been going REALLY well between the two of us, we are practically dating but no one has actually said anything about it, we just act like a couple the whole time. and obviously we hugged twice ЁЯе░)
28/10/2022 (we met again, talked a lot, held hands for the very first time, touched her hair, this is it, the beginning of all that is to come.тЩея╕П)
27 & 28/11/2022 (sleepover at her placeтЭдя╕П)
10/02/2023 (ЁЯееЁЯедтЭдя╕П)
28/03/2023 (these meetings with HER are getting better everytime, i really can't describe the things talk about because it's just not right ЁЯШВ. but we flirt A LOT, "accidentally" touch each other for some reason or the other, god i wish these things never end and i hope one day we both end up under the same roof till the end of time тЭдя╕П) (update: few days after this happened she literally said "i wish we would have spent more time that day" ЁЯШнтЭдя╕П)
20/04/2023 (just few glimpse of each otherЁЯе░ЁЯе║)
21/04/2023 (it's just so reassuring when she recognises me in the dark EVERYTIME, that too within a second, I'll never not be surprised and happy about this ЁЯе║тЭдя╕П)
22/04/2023 (3 days in a row, ending with a 45 mins coconut water perfume testing date thingy. ALSOOOOOO i got 2 hugS, nice long tight hugSЁЯе║тЭдя╕ПЁЯе░)
03/05/2023 (we completed a full circle of meeting regularly, idontknow if she knows about this or not but yeah it feels like a blessing to be able to meet her so often. may god or whoever is up there help me be in her life till the end of time. тЭдя╕ПтЭдя╕П)
04/05/2023 (first of all, she called ME beautiful. not indirectly or anything like that, it was 100% clear and intended. then i asked her to meet because i started missing her a lot after she called me that. we MET. hate her neighbours, unki wajah se she doesn't feel comfortable to hug me which is understandable because desi but still hurts like a BITCH. i love her, i really do. and i got sabzi shopping lessons from her but ig she forgot that i literally cook proper meals and know everything achese but damn yrr i enjoyed her lessonsЁЯе║ЁЯе║ЁЯе║тЭдя╕П)
18/05/2023 (so we met, again. fun fact, we both were planning to meet and texted each other at the same time ЁЯШВ. i was flirting A LOT today and i know it. she even told me ki bacche h baju main not good but why would that stop me? bacche h toh dekh ke sikhne do kaise krte hЁЯШВ she was against this but it's fine i love her and she's the only one i flirt with тЭдя╕П)
25/05/2023 ( i think may is OUR month, all good things till date have happened in may except the birth of my sister. so we met again on my request to meet her before leaving for a work trip. i have her old bracelet with me, and it's been sooooo nice to spend so much time with her recently ЁЯе║ЁЯе║. i pray i start living with her soon. ЁЯе║ЁЯе░)
01/06/2023 ( im dating a vampire тЭдя╕ПЁЯШВ. a really hot gorgeous kind sweet vampire. we met, spent an hour on my rooftop under the moon, did some тЬиthingsтЬи, hugged A LOT and it was perfect. she's my drug and im addicted to her. i hope i never do anything to lose her and be the guy she deserves, i don't care if it labels me as possesive or territorial, i need her and i am never going to share her with anyone. get yourself a personal vampire or not i don't care but stay away from mine. she really is my reason to live ЁЯе║тЭдя╕П)
14/06/2023 ( didn't spend much time but got to pick up and drop her home on scooty for the first time late at night i.e. 12:30am ish, it was pretty chaotic for some reasons but i got to spend time with her so that's nice тШ║я╕ПтЭдя╕П can't wait for the day i get introduced in her family as THE guy and they realise and accept that i will love her and keep her safe from every bullshit just the way they intend to do it, maybe I'll love her a little more than them because why not ЁЯШВ, praying it does happen and not because of some sneaky shit but in a genuine way ЁЯдЮЁЯП╗ЁЯе║ЁЯз┐)
20/06/2023 (not to jinx it or anything but we have been meeting for more than just 2 times ЁЯе░ЁЯе░ЁЯе░ and it has been going perfectly. we hugged just once but theek h, walked around for a while and unfortunately she had to go home. ЁЯЩБ)
22/06/2023 (as planned, we met again today ЁЯдн. spent some good hours with each other, i ended up looking like a guy with dark red spots on neck and shoulders ЁЯШВ. i said those three words to her and told her she doesn't have to say it back or anything, she just has to know and accept it. she did change a bit after i said it, in a REALLY good way...... we said few things and really loved spending time like this with each other. i hope we get more close after this тЭдя╕ПЁЯе║)
24/06/2024 (so we were out for a thing and grocery shopping for her home and at a place the lady on counter asked for her full name for the receipt. the lady spelled it wrong and SHE got annoyed and said sab surname galat likh dete h mera and i was holding the urge to say "you can change yours to mine it's easier to spell" ЁЯе║ЁЯлгтЭдя╕П)
12/07/2023 (just a glimpse of her, only one second while she was going to office in auto. i pray i get to see her again, hopefully today ЁЯе║тЭдя╕П) (Edit: we did meetЁЯе░)
13/07/2023 (got to see her in person before leaving for office after 1.5 months тЭдя╕П)
25/07/2023 (we met again, for 2 reasons. one of them being me wanting HER to be the first person who touches my new bike and second is kind of a secret. i noticed today that she blushes A LOT whenever i flirt with her in person, don't know about text but it's fine. she likes it tooЁЯШВ. i might have gone little out of line while flirting and implied that im going to marry her and only her one day but idontthink she was able ro figure that outЁЯШВ but it was nice. ALSOOOOOOOOO we walked in rain under the same umbrella тЩея╕ПЁЯе║)
1/08/2023 (a perfect start to the month, meeting with her, long tight hugs, talking and eating her leftover birthday cake, it was all just meant to be, like me and HER for each other тЩея╕П)
09/08/2023 (a short drive around the town before she leaves for a trip тЭдя╕ПЁЯШК)
30/08/2023 (met her accidentally while i was driving back home after finishing some errands. she was looking for auto, so got the chance to drop her at station. perfect start to my day ЁЯе░ЁЯе░ЁЯе░) (i hope i get to meet her again before this month ends)
31/08/2023 ( we met, she planned and initiated it, gave her a bracelet i made for her, she gave me some chocolates, i love my cute vampire ЁЯе░ЁЯе║тЭдя╕П)
13/09/2023 (met her after 2 whole weeks, that's 14 days!!!! felt soooo good to see her in person after so longтЭдя╕ПЁЯе║. she gave me a flower shaped chocolate, we walked around, i was carrying her bag so my perfume could stay on it when she reaches homeЁЯШ╢тАНЁЯМля╕П. and i got 2 hugs!тЭдя╕П)
20/09/2023 (we met because it was my birthday week, and we were supposed to spend a day out but didn't for some unfortunate reasons. she really feels like home, being around is the most satisfying and comforting thing for meЁЯе░тЭдя╕П. i said few things out loud that i was scared of, she didn't have a negative reaction and it was good, felt like a burden off of my chest ЁЯШВ. got to hug her nicely ЁЯе║тЭдя╕П)
25/09/2023 (so i planned something lame and didn't leave my house since my birthday last week and i was finally able to excute it successfully ЁЯШВ. i wanted her to be the first person i meet outside family, was not really sure about it plus she didn't know but i was able to pull it off. we met for few minutes, it was late so we just went for a ride around town before i drop her home. got 2 hugs and it felt nice тЭдя╕ПтЭдя╕П)
28/09/2023 (got to drop her home. feels so nice when she calls me and just asks me to do something without any hesitation тЭдя╕ПтЭдя╕П)
05/10/2023 (yknow those hugs where you just bury your face in other person's chest and forget everything else exists? the only sound you hear is them talking to you and their heart beating. i got to experience that for a good few minutes and i swear to god i feel like i can achieve anything as long as i get to hug her like that, i won't need therapy, no medication nothing. everything will automatically be 100x better. SHE really makes me want to live another day and not give up on myself ЁЯе▓ЁЯе║тЩея╕П)
06/10/2023 (got to meet her 2 days in a row, but today was kind of a cute hangout. we sat and talked for like an hour maybe, i plucked a flower to put it in her hair and clicked photos of her. and i kid you not when i say she is prettiest girl I've ever seen in my lifeЁЯе║тЩея╕П. one that im going to make her my wife.)
25/10/2023 (yknow the most difficult part about existing at the same time as her? not being able to see her regularly. i mean i am really grateful that i get to see her more than how it was 2 years back but i miss her A LOT and when i see her it's so obvious for her to figure out i missed her. today was one of those times. and i got to see a private fashion showтЩея╕ПтЩея╕П)
08/11/2023 (safe to say she likes surprise visits ЁЯдн, also gave her some sweets because she was not having a good day, and i might meet her tomo properly instead of just 15-20 minsтЩея╕П)
09/11/2023 (so we did meet and will meet again tomorrow, for the third time in this weekЁЯе║. it was sooooooooooooooo good. she was mocking my sore throat voice and it was cute тЩея╕П)
10/11/2023 (a silent ride back home, dropping her after she came back from office, wish there was something i could do to make her feel better ЁЯЩБ)

Bomb Cake for Diwali
Cakes for every occasion
Diwali, the most awaited season for new clothes, good food and endless boxes of sweets is here! It is also the season of patakas. For most of us, Diwali means gathering in our neighbourhoods to light diyas and burst a few crackers and watch the fireworks in the sky. However with the increased consciousness about crackers causing air pollution, noise pollution and the adverse effect it has on pets, people are doing away with this practice. But Diwali isnтАЩt complete without lighting a bomb so why not light one that is safe, fun and delicious too! This Diwali bring home the Diwali Special Bomb Cake!
Bomb cakes are fun and you must include them in the list before you shop for sweets this Diwali.
Read on to know how you can add to your festivities and some of the reasons why you should get a bomb cake.
What Is A Bomb Cake? How Do We Cut It?
For many of you, this may be a new term. ThatтАЩs why, here is a description for those hearing about a bomb cake for the first time.
Unlike other cakes that come in a cake box, a bomb cake comes with a bomb shell like outer covering to reveal a delicious cake inside that you will see only once the bomb pops open.
Unlike its explosive namesake fire cracker, the bomb cake is absolutely safe and fun to have indoors as well as out. How do you light the bomb cake? LetтАЩs see.
The layers of the bomb cake open on 4 sides. Hence you need to place the cake at the centre of a table having sufficient space such that the shell can spread out completely to reveal the cake inside.
The bomb shell comes with a small wick that needs to be lit. Once the table is prepared, all you have to do is light the wick at the top of the shell just like you would a birthday candle.
Do not worry, the shell does not burst. It simply opens up revealing a beautiful cake of your choice inside.
The Joy Of Bomb Cakes
Presenting a cake is always a pleasant surprise. This is only more fun with bomb cakes as it adds to the surprise until the moment it pops. These cakes are a unique and dramatic way to surprise your loved ones on Diwali or any other joyous occasion.
You can choose a cake of your choice to go inside the shell. This Diwali, WarmOven has a range of delicious Fusion Bomb Cakes. Fusion cakes are made with moist freshly baked sponge combined with delicious Indian sweets like Rasgullas and Gulab Jamuns.
You can also choose Mango Bomb Cake, Red Velvet Bomb Cake, Ferrero Rocher Bomb Cake and many more.
WarmOven Bomb Cakes For All Occasions
Bomb cakes are becoming increasingly popular by the day not just for the Diwali festival. It can be a nice way to add some excitement to any special occasion. It can be anything from a birthday celebration in the office to your special anniversary date.
Plan a surprise dinner for your sweetheart and end the night by presenting a bomb cake. Choose her favorite flavor and a put in beautiful message that she can read when the cake pops.
Likewise, this cake will just not fail to put a smile on a childтАЩs face. Let him light one on his birthday and give you Insta worthy pictures!

Kartik Purnima 2022 Vrat Date, Puja Timing And Significance
Kartik Purnima
Kartika is the eighth lunar month in the Hindu calendar. The Purnima that occurs during the month of Kartika is known as Kartika purnima. Kartika Purnima celebrations begin on the day of Prabodhini Ekadashi, also known as Devuthanna Ekadashi. Since Ekadashi is the eleventh day and Purnima is the fifteenth day of the Kartika month, Kartika Purnima is celebrated for five days. Kartika Purnima is very important as many rituals and festivals conclude on this day. Kartika Purnima is also known as Tripuri Purnima. Here are the five-day festivals of kartika purnima which we celebrate:
Tulsi Vivah
Bhishma Panchaka
Vaikunth Chaturdashi
Dev Diwali
Tulsi Vivah: usually begins on the day of Prabodhini Ekadashi and ends on the day of Kartika Purnima. According to Hindu scriptures, Tulsi Vivah can be celebrated on any possible day between Ekadashi and Kartika Purnima, in the Hindu month of Kartik. Most of the people perform the marriage ritual of Goddess Tulsi with Lord Shaligram, who represents Lord Vishnu, on tripuri PurnimaтАЩs day.
Fast Bhishma Panchaka: starts with Prabodhini Ekadashi and ends on Kartik Purnima Day. According to Vaishnava culture, the Bhishma Panchak fast during the last five days of the month of Kartik is of great importance. He is also called as Vishnu Panchaka.
Vaikunth Chaturdashi: Puja is performed one day before Kartika Purnima. Followers of Lord Vishnu fast on this day. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu used to worship Lord Shiva on the day of Vaikunth Chaturdashi, during Shukla Paksha, by offering him a thousand lotus flowers. Shiva temples on this day offer a special puja performance where Lord Vishnu is worshiped along with Lord Shiva. On this day, devotees observe Kartik Purnima Ganga Snan by bathing in the holy river Ganges at Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi before sunrise.
Dev Diwali: known as Diwali of Gods, is celebrated on Kartika Purnima day. Ancient Hindu scriptures describe that the demon Tripurasura was killed by Lord Shiva on this day, which is why Kartik PurnimaтАЩs is also known as Tripurari Purnima in Marathi. The myths describe that the gods were overjoyed at the death of Tripurasura and thus celebrated tripuri purnima as Diwali, lighting earthen days in all the temples and on the bank of the Ganges river.
Significance of Kartik Purnima
According to Hindu mythology, this Kartik Poornima day has religious and spiritual significance. Performing Kartik Snan and worshiping Lord Vishnu on this day is believed to bless devotees with immense wealth. tripuri Purnima is one of the most blessed days to perform religious ceremonies, and auspicious ceremonies performed on this day are believed to bring joy and happiness. It is also believed that performing Kartik Snan during the month of Kartik is equivalent to performing 100 Ashvamegha Yagya.
Kartika PurnimaтАЩs Vrat:
Ganga Snan, Lighting Lamps (Deep Daan), Hom (Aahuti), Yagya and deity worship during Kartik Purnima are of great importance. The rituals that are performed on this day are the following:
Get up in the morning and vows for fast. Take a Bath in a sacred river, lake or pond.
One must worship the six creations named Shiva, Santati, Preity, Anusuya and Kashama during ┬аmoonrise.
By fasting and donating an ox on the night of Kartik Purnima, one reaches Shiv Pada.
Donating a cow or elephant, horse, chariot (ratha) or ghee on this day rewards the person by increasing the ┬аpossessions.
Donating sheep reduces the harmful effects of the yugas by aligning the planets.
From tripuri ┬аPurnima onwards, if a person fasts for every Purnima and sings devotional songs (Jagrans) during that night, all your wishes will come true.
Who fasts on Purnima must perform havan and feed the needy and the poor on this day.
One should end the fast by taking a bath (Kartik Snan) in the river Yamuna and then lighting lamps (Deep Daan) while worshiping Radha-Krishna.

Books I Read The Rest of the Year
November
1. Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse (Five Stars)
I didnтАЩt want this book to end. I didnтАЩt. The characters were so three dimensional (seriously, by the second paragraph I knew I was gonna love Xiala), the worldbuilding absolutely stunning, and the political intrigue was WOO. IтАЩm glad thereтАЩs a sequel and IтАЩm buying that ish the second it comes out. Loved it.
2. FirekeeperтАЩs Daughter by Angeline Boulley (Four Stars)
It was interesting to see the fake dating trope be used in an honest to God thriller but I was definitely invested in finding out who was behind the meth distribution. I did wish I had remembered the warnings because when it got to That Scene, I literally stared at the book for a full minute going, тАЬDid I just read what I think I read?тАЭ and knowing the sad statistics concerning indigenous women, I knew right away why that scene existed...it just really hurt to see. Usually those kinds of scenes are deal breakers for me reading and watching wise. But again, I knew why it was put in there and it is something people should be more aware of.
3. Perfect World Vol 3 by Rie Aruga (Four Stars)
IтАЩm still invested despite 1) that cliffhanger and 2) getting spoiled on how long that break up is gonna last and knowing they do eventually get married and have kids. IтАЩll still keep reading when IтАЩm in the mood.
December
4. Miracles and Menorahs by Stacey Agdern (Three Stars)
I was trying to read more diverse works concerning the holidays and I managed to read this during Hanukkah. It was cute. It read like a Hallmark movie, which means it did its job given the genre. I did notice several typos that lowkey made me wince. But ignoring that, again, it was a cute read.
5. A Holly Jolly Diwali by Sonya Lalli (Three Stars)
Diwali took place in November this year so I was...late on reading this. I had no idea. XD Still, I marched on and was happy to read a story surrounding that holiday. The romance was okay. Homegirl did jump the gun in the climax and I was like,┬атАЬGirl, calm. DOWN.тАЭ
6. Huda F Are You by Huda Fahmy (Four Stars)
FahmyтАЩs first two comics were hilarious and this one had some funny moments but because itтАЩs a coming of age comic, it was a bit more serious.
7. The Holiday Switch by Tif Marcelo (Three Stars)
I finished two hours before midnight. It was nice. The main characterтАЩs love for stories was plain as day and the banter was fun. When it turned into romance, it was cute but not something I would gush over either. IтАЩm still happy for the experience though.
Goals for 2022
- The last two years I made it my goal to read 50 books and, while I think IтАЩm going to be a bit more chill about reading this year, IтАЩm still gonna leave it at 50.
- Try to read more non-fiction. I read two in 2021, which was one more than 2020. Maybe make it to at least three this year? XD I have several non-fiction IтАЩm still genuinely interested in getting to someday.
- I won my bet against my mom but I do want to try to tackle more of the books I already own and go to the library if I have a burning need to read a book I donтАЩt own. I make no promises.
Happy New Year!!

So far itтАЩs always been family-first for Salman Khan.┬а Why else would he allow his brother Arbaaz to direct a project as prestigious as Dabangg 2?
SalmanтАЩs other brother Sohail too has had his opportunities like Auzaar, Hello Brother and Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. Sohail has been planning a fourth directorial with Salman for two years now.┬а The mammoth project titled Sher Khan is said to be┬а Tarzan-inspired jungle adventure featuring Salman in a never-before action avatar with plenty of animals for company.
The film was to kickstart in 2020. But has now been┬а pushed forward to 2022.
A close friend of Salman spills the beans. тАЬItтАЩs really very simple. Bhai is not completely happy with the script. Sohail has gone back to the storyboard at┬а least three times. But Bhai is still not satisfied. Salman wants Sher Khan to be a game changer in the action genre.тАЭ
Apparently Sohail is on the same page as Salman on this matter.
Says the source, тАЬSohail is okay with re-working the Sher Khan script as many times as required. He too wants Sher Khan to be a landmark in the action genre and in SalmanтАЩs career. Salman was┬а supposed to start Sher Khan this year. But has now allotted those dates to his friend Sajid Nadiadwala for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.тАЭ
Incidentally the word тАШSherтАЩ doesnтАЩt seem too┬а favourable for our movies. Prior to SalmanтАЩs Sher Khan, Sanjay Dutt worked in a film of that title which got shelved midway.
