“holy mac ‘n cheese balls,” you said, gawking as you drove down the bend of road that lead to a modern-looking building. beside the road was a pond, with sunlight glittering over the surface.

“this is actually real,” your friend added, eyes also wide with awe. with shakier hands than you’d have liked to admit, you parked your car in the lot, both of you getting out and taking in the view. no, it wasn’t the louvre or some famous tourist attraction; in fact, it was something much better in your opinion.

the mclaren technology center, home of the mclaren formula 1 team. you and your friend were huge f1 fans, and mclaren was by far your favorite team. so, when you got an email saying that you had won the mtc tour courtesy of your mclaren plus membership, you two were ecstatic. jumping up and down while screaming levels of estatic. deciding to match, your friend wore her lando shirt and you wore your oscar merch.

at the door, an employee dressed in papaya was waiting for you, a smile on his face. “hi, i assume you’re here for the tour?”

you nodded, beaming. “yup! me and my friend.” you two were ushered inside, the sight of historic f1 cars making your eyes widen.

“i’m mateo, and i’m set to be showing you around,” the employee grinned. “but, since the f1 season is on break, we’re also joined by some special guests.” he glanced over your shoulder, and you turned around to see oscar piastri and lando norris walk over towards you two. holy shit, was this real? you were about to meet both mclaren drivers, your favorites, in person.

“hey, how are you?” oscar smiled at you two, sticking out his hand. you shook it, an awestruck expression on your face - you just shook oscar piastri’s hand, you were never going to wash it again - which you quickly masked. they were probably annoyed with how many people mooned over them, and you would too if you were in their position.

“good, how about you?” you responded, your friend squeezing your arm tightly.

oscar chuckled. “we’re doing good, looking forward to showing you around.”

mateo glanced at his phone before looking back at the drivers. “so, are you guys taking over? because i just got an email for a meeting?”

“yeah,” lando nodded. “we’re showing them around, i think.” mateo gave him a thumbs up and headed off, leaving you and your friend with the drivers.

“first off, what are your names?” oscar asked. you and your friend answered, still in shock that formula one drivers were learning your names.

oscar nodded, internalizing that information as lando clapped his hands together. “how long have you guys been mclaren fans?”

“as soon as we started watching f1, which was what- ten years ago?” you responded, your friend having the same experience as you.

oscar’s eyes widened as lando gave you two his signature smile. “perfect, we have loyal fans,” he said, amused. “c’mon, we’ll show you the cars first.”

your eyes immediately landed on the mp4/2 while lando was explaining something about the modern car to your friend. “so, you know your stuff, huh?” oscar remarked, the corner of his mouth quirking up.

“of course i do, it’s one of the most dominant cars in, y’know, the team’s history,” you chuckled. “i take fan duties very seriously.”

“i would expect no less,” the australian driver snorted, both of you turning your attention back to lando.

“…and that’s why the 2026 regs are similar to drs,” he finished, turning and walking down a bit more.

you glanced at the cars, fingers reaching out as if to touch it before pulling it back. you probably couldn’t mess with the cars. “it’s fine, you can touch it,” oscar said, amused. you placed your hand on the sidepod, awe sparking in you; you were touching an engineering masterpiece.

“thanks,” you whispered, though unsure of what you were thanking him for. “it’s beautiful.” oscar’s expression softened, smiling at you. as your attention shifted, you didn’t notice lando elbowing the younger driver with a shit-eating grin.

you stopped by mika haikkinen’s mp4-13, nodding appreciatively. “the first mclaren designed by adrian newey,” oscar commented, standing next to you as you admired the car.

nodding, you took a picture of the car, like you had been with all of the noteworthy cars. wanting to reference something from your uni engineering homework, you took it out of your bag, asking your friend something. you quickly sketched a small feature on your work, laying it flat on a nearby table while your pencil moved across the paper.

you hear oscar call out your name. “c’mon, they’re already moving ahead,” he told you and you followed him.

soon, you reached the more private rooms for debriefings and r&d before heading to the trophy cases. “whoa,” you breathed out, eyes scanning all the trophies.

“yup,” lando chimed proudly. “we’re a successful team. does that trophy ring a bell?” he pointed to the trophy from his maiden win in miami.

“obviously,” you laughed, recalling your glee that day. “that was a good race.” lando gave you a smug grin, clearly still reminiscent of that exciting may day.

you walked a little further, eyes drawn to the shiny silver baku trophy. hearing footsteps behind you, you turned your head slightly, papaya orange in your periphery. “how did it feel?” you asked softly.

oscar blinked for a second, not expecting that question. “it was um, definitely stressful while i was driving,” he responded. “but after, it was incredible. i was so happy.”

“i would think so,” you smiled. “it was a really good race, especially defence against leclerc.”

“thanks,” oscar nodded, brown eyes meeting yours. no, snap out of it, you thought to yourself as you glanced back at the trophy shelf, cheeks pink. oscar was a formula 1 driver. way out of your league, if he’d ever give you the chance in the first place.

“best story to tell our class later,” your friend commented, moving next to you.

“agreed,” you snorted. “i also need to show our profesor my revised drawings for-” you rummaged around in your bag, frowning. “where did my uni work go?”

“did you take it out here?” oscar asked, having clearly eavsdropped. you nodded, searching around the room.

lando looked around before pointing at you and oscar. “check the boulevard, we’ll check here,” he instructed. you listened wordlessly, turning and heading back the way you came, oscar on your heels.

you glanced at all the cars you stopped at, frustration growing as your work was nowhere to be found. “hey, it’s okay, we’ll find it,” oscar reassured you, surprising you slightly. his eyes drifted over your shoulder, brightening as he walked towards a little nook, grabbing the paper on the table. “oh, it was right here.”

your expression changed to one of shock, moving to stand next to oscar who was indeed holding your classwork. however, the australian driver wasn’t handing it back. “oscar?” you tried.

“huh? oh. sorry,” he said sheepishly, handing you the paper. “was just, um, intrigued by it. i used to take math and physics gcses at school.

you glanced up at him, amused, as he added, “it looks like good engineering.”

“thank you,” you chuckled, tucking the paper safely in your purse. “so you’re saying you juggled racing and gces?”

“a levels too,” oscar said, a faint smirk on his face that was not common of him.

“valid,” you laughed, walking side by side with him as you two made your way back to the others. “that must’ve been insane. school and racing?”

“it was…something,” oscar agreed. “though i’m not half as smart as you.” before you could respond, you were reunited with the others and lando was already talking.

“oh, osc, perfect!” lando beamed. “we’re gonna wrap up now and sign some merch for them. you guys both get signed drivers cards and a hat signed by both of us.”

your eyes widened with surprise; it just kept getting better. oscar pulled a sharpie out of thin air, seemingly. “do you want me to sign anything for you?” he asked.

“could you sign my shirt and hat?” you said, letting oscar write his signature. “thanks.”

“no problem,” oscar nodded, not working on signing your driver card. he handed it back to you, but your jaw dropped as you saw his number as well.

“oscar-” you were cut off as he unexpectedly grabbed your arm, pulling you two out of lando and your friend’s earshot.

“i wanted to give you my number and ask if you wanted to have dinner with me sometime,” he explained, slightly bashful. now your jaw was fully on the floor. “i just, i dunno, felt a flicker with you. i think you’re not like many other people i’ve met, and i really enjoy talking to you.”

you willed yourself not to start freaking out, not wanting to seem like a fangirl and scare him. “that’d be great, oscar. but, don’t you think you’re kinda out of my league?” you responded, making oscar blink in surprise.

“out of your league? if anything, i’m out of your league,” he replied. “i don’t care if you’re a fan rather than anyone else, i like talking to you.” and damn it, you didn’t really know what else to say to that.

“then yeah, i’d really like that,” you smiled. oh god, you were down bad already.

“me too,” oscar grinned, brown eyes meeting yours for the second time today.

YUUTA OKKOTSU. he's not much of a big birthday party type of person, but he'd do anything to make you happy. yuuta would go out of his way to ask people closest to you to help him arrange a birthday party — and with presents? he buys you one. only one. but it means a lot to him and he knows it will for you too.

he's such a cutie. he'd get everything in your favorite color, the cake, the confetti, the ribbons. whether it being the darkest color like black or the brightest colors like neon. he didn't care, as long as you're happy with it; nothing else really matters to him.

"yuuta, what's this?" you chuckled as you saw a [favorite color] balloon on the floor of your house.

he internally cursed realizing that the balloon wasn't even supposed to be there — and you did get a ghast of what was happening, but you just didn't have the heart to tell him about it and acted nonchalant.

the boy was so flustered he ended up grabbing the balloon and throwing it out of the front door before pulling you towards the living room where it was all a sudden rush of birthday power, as the lights flickered on, everyone you found dear was standing there with big smiles on their faces. congratulating your birth.

"happy birthday," yuuta squeezed your hand lightly, rubbing circles on the back of your hand.

"i love this. thank you," you tell him.

up to this day, he still doesn't know how you actually know about his surprise because of that balloon. but that doesn't really matter now, does it? at least you're happy — and yuuta is most certainly proud of himself for making you happy.

MEGUMI FUSHIGURO. he prefers to keep things simple and private. he buys a cake, a confetti bomb, and a present for you. megumi usually comes over to you and knocked on your door, and you'd think this was a normal hang out, date, chilling and all.

but when you open the door, he pops the confetti bomb. right outside of your door — certainly, it leaves quite of a mess and he cleans it up afterwards (he doesn't want you to help, because he thinks it's your special day and you shouldn't be cleaning something he decided to do). but his celebrations are repeated, that the third time it happened, you had a vacuum prepared so he wouldn't have to hand pick every piece of the confetti.

megumi treats you like you're reigning on a throne on your special day. you want to grab a plate for the cake? he will do it for you. a fork for the cake? he will do it for you. cutting the cake into smaller slices? he will do it for you. taking pictures of you during the duo party? he got it under control.

"gumi, thank you. this means a lot to me," you tell him, halfway finished on your third slice of cake with frosting decorating the corner of your lips.

megumi swiped his thumb over the leftover frosting and licked it off his finger, smiling lightly, "you're welcome."

he hates to admit it — but he thinks that maybe next year he'd take you by surprise to make a bigger party, and he hated that the first person he thought of was gojo to ask for help to.

GOJO SATORU. he goes all out. and by that, he creates two parties. one with a lot of people close to you, and one just for you and him. he goes one week before your party to plan everything, asking his students to help him in the mean time (making them do almost half of the work).

gojo picks the best cake, and presents? don't you even worry about it — he'll go out of his way to get you the most jaw dropping thing that you never expected to get. what can i say? he loves spoiling his partner, and he's got the money to do so.

the big party, he's going all out, getting you a three layered cake decorated in the most beautiful icing and toppings. he reaches out to people close to you one-by-one, and even makes the invitation pretty for them. and he gets pretty upset when someone close to you tells him they couldn't come — but hey, at the end of the day, it's your happiness that matters most to him, so he shrugs it off.

he makes sure everything goes well, nobody fighting or making unnecessary drama during the party. and makes sure nobody says a thing to you about it, he could be annoying with it though. but can you blame him? he plans a big party and if someone lets out a word on it to you by accident or with full intentions? everyone would be pretty upset, no?

but thankfully, that has never happened before.

and as for the mini party, he goes even further with it. reserving the nicest, fanciest restaurant in the city with the best view. he makes sure everything in the menu will be something that you like — and if any of them has something you don't, he makes sure to tell it to the chef (even if it comes with extra charges after).

buys you a big bouquet of flower and surprises you with it during your dinner date, gives you another luxurious gift that night and it was honestly just the best thing ever.

honestly though, you can't even try to stop him anymore — he'd still do it in the next year.

As the number two hero of Japan, the most sought out, the most popular & famous. Keigo’s birthday sure isn’t all that sought out. He’s busy with meetings & PR, while you thought you could spend the birthday eve with him. You’re so annoyed but at the same time helpless— what can you do really? It’s not like he is purposely doing this. Purposely being busy… he’s not.

Your eyes dart towards the clock. 12:00 am on the dot. You pout, rummaging through the bedsheets to find your phone. Fine, you can make do with a text message. Calling him while he’s in a meeting gets embarrassing for others moreso than Hawks. You see, he has no regard for other people. He would simper around, call you his baby, say he loves you… while other people would awkwardly try to stomach the #2 hero being whipped. You pout when you open his text tab, typing out a short.

The message isn’t seen yet, and you sulk harder, shoulders drooping as you sigh & lean against the bedsheets. Yep, you could much rather scroll through TikTok instead. At least, the Hawks fandom would be active & would care about his birthday. Something you have in commonality.

Your son was peacefully asleep in his room. He’s turning three soon, and you couldn’t really wait to see him grow. Thoughts of him already idolising Keigo ripple through your mind as you smile faintly. That’s when you’re invited into a lull slumber.

The next morning when you’re awake, you pout instantly. Fucked was your whole plan to spend his birthday eve together. Keigo had officially turned 27 today. A low rumble of his melodious voice echoed through the kitchen, mingled with the clattering of your son’s indulgent ‘helper’ whines as he prepares stuff with Dadda. Your heart warms, and you quickly rush.

“Good morning Kei, morning Ai.” You call him, and your son who’s wings puff up instantly upon seeing his mother. “Mama mornin!” He chirps, and Keigo grins back, “Oh good morning sunshine, you look gorgeous— haven’t told ya that everyday as if~” Keigo scoffed dramatically, leaning in and kissing you softly.

“Happy birthday…” you hum, running your hands through his hair, forgetting everything and why you were a little testy upon him. “Thank you babygirl.” He croons, nuzzling against your neck and giving a chaste kiss.

“M’ sorry I was so carried away by work y’know. Hate to be the hero sometimes.” He winked, ushering you towards your seat in the dining area. “Made yer favorite!” He beams, loitering through the culinary crockery.

“It’s your birthday, I’m the one who’s supposed to do the spoiling!” You audibly whine, making Aideen (your son), giggle up. “Mama spoilin’!!” He repeated innocently, and you nodded with a grin. “Yes baby, today’s Dadda’s birthday.” You hum, kissing his cheek. “C’mon, wish him a happy birthday.”

Your son glanced up at Keigo, who’s eyes softened instantly at the two individuals he would cut his heart up for. Ai tried, fumbling a soft, “Appy bufday Dadda” but the cheerfulness of the wish has Keigo’s eyes waver & gloss up. You pat Ai on the head, grinning. “Oh good boy, that was such a good birthday wish!”

The thing is, you and Keigo didn’t have to try the whole ‘gentle parenting’ thing ever. Luckily, you knew exactly what were the good parts you would like to pick up from your parents. Keigo knew exactly what he doesn’t want to be. Parenting came naturally. Though, there were times you found Hawks rather confused… but you were always there with him, holding a hand.

“Ai’s gonna start Nursery soon.” You hum, while cutting up the fruits and dipping them in maple syrup. “Yeah, I know Sweetie.” Keigo smiled, looking at you and scanning your face for any emotion remotely close to worry. “You know he’s going to do well, right?” He asks, hand reflectively brushing against yours.

“Yeah, but he’s the son of a very famous Hero.” You looked up, biting your lip a little out of nervousness. You haven’t been a celebrity kid. Hell you don’t even know how it would feel. These past four years with your man has only taught you never to go out without looking your best. You’ve been papped several times after all.

In the begining of the relationship, it was so troublesome and hard for you. Wherever you went with Hawks — the paparazzi followed like a flock. You & Keigo both have been successful in hiding Ai’s face from the media so long. Part of you wants to keep him safe so that no one could ever see what your son looks like, let alone trouble him.

“Don’t worry sweetheart, the school would be incredibly secure. I’d ask you to get him homeschooled but then I know we both don’t wanna deprave him off a normal life yeah?” Keigo coos, kissing your forehead. You nod, seemingly half-convinced still.

“Mmm, how about I send a silly little feather along?” You perk up at that idea, that was fantastic!

“That sounds okay. That way you’d know what’s up.” You smiled, observing his golden eyes dilate the moment a smile festered on your face. Gosh he was so visible with all his desperate and unconditional love towards you.

“Atta girl! Keep that smile on for me all day! Today’s my birthday and I get to have whatever I want.” Keigo grinned wide, and you nodded in approval.

“So I was thinkin’ maybe we could go out today… y’know like one of those times when I book a sneazy comfy place where there’s snow & there’s warm fireplace & there’s a lotta~” he leaned in, whispering the next part, “sex.”

You cackled, you knew Ai wouldn’t understand yet, but he’s of that age where he continually repeats words over & over. He repeated ‘Fuck’ over and over once Keigo slipped it out & had you reign hell fire upon the house. That was the first and the last time your husband did that mistake though. Ever so sharp & ever so careful (mostly).

“I’m in, want to spend all my time with you.” You confessed like a blushy highschooler, and Keigo grinned.

“Well a fuckin’ happy birthday to me then!”

Buck can fight, but he's just retired to fight. Just tends the Bar he owes

They will both beat peoples asses, if they fight together

Tim makes fun of Buck for being old, but Buck doesn't get mad he lets it slide

If its Buck's b-day, Tim will steal him little gifts (Buck gets mad at Tim for stealing but is thankful for the gift)

If its Tim's b-day, Buck will let him have free beer (only on his birthday)

Tim dares Buck to fight him, but still losses to Buck anyways 😂

When Tim is having a bad day, he will go to Buck's bar and spend there all day till he's drunk (maybe will often tell Buck about his bad day, and Buck will try his best to comfort him) I thought that will be cute♥😭

Since Buck has a dog (I feel like it should be a girl and her name should be pig) But Buck's dog loves Tim and Tim loves her back, he loves playing with her and she loves playing with him

One time Buck was laughing at Tim, because he was getting attacked by Pig while playfighting, and she accidentally bit Tim so hard he ended up having a scar on his neck (ofc Buck took Pig off Tim, but Tim was hurt so badly he couldn't talk right for a few week😭)

Tim wasn't mad at Pig, but was mad at Buck for laughing at him💀 (its fine if u don't like the whole idea)

When Tim's car isn't working and he need to go some places, he would steal Buck's car and Buck finds out, gets really pissed at him for stealing his car

Speaking of Buck's car, Tim like riding with Buck when he's running errands (Tim's passenger princess😭 Buck is forces to buy him stuff) 💀

Trying to justify this is really weird. Writing a whole section in your fanfic about Duncan losing his virginity at age THIRTEEN (aka basically first out of elementary school) is really creepy. And writing a whole fucking MISCARRIAGE FIC ABOUT DUNCAN AND GWEN?😟 like seriously who even THINKS about writing stuff like that

There is a BIG FUCKING DIFFERENCE between writing about two CARTOON TEENAGERS having sex and writing about a CARTOON MINOR AND A CARTOON ADULT having sex. I highly suggest you learn it.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

that's a good one! my first thought would be spaceboy because they can bond over their ex and travel the stars together, but i also get the feeling that they could clash horribly. two hyperemotional drama queens in love with the same girl,, to be honest, i feel like rococo would get along best with the unbread twins. all three of them have been locked away in isolation for years, the twins can provide rococo with food and he can fund their gambling addiction, they all have strange manners of speaking and like to talk about their sad backstories, etc. i feel like they'd have a very fun dynamic :))

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

at first, i mainly just considered him another one-off side character and didn't pay much attention to his dialogue. his art was funny, his design was cool, but it wasn't until i wrote a one-shot focused around him that i started to recognise him a bit more as his own character. i wound up writing a 3000 word analysis on his backstory, got ridiculously attached, and now he's one of my biggest comfort characters sgfgjhf

23. Favorite picture of this character?

!!! hero my beloved! for his real world version, i'd have to go with the group hug. he shifts so quickly from being miserable and guilt-ridden to smiling and comforting aubrey; it really highlights just how accustomed he is to putting on a facade for others' sakes. besides, i don't think he's hugged anyone in years (one of his canonical likes listed is "mari's hugs", after all). the photo shows how much of an older brother figure he is not just to kel, but to sunny and aubrey too. he does look genuinely happy to be there with them, and it makes me smile to see him smile :))

as for headspace hero, as much as i adore this year's birthday art of him, i think i'd have to go with the photo of him making a flower crown. "it's taking him a while, but he's getting it!". the petals and leaves all over him are very cute, and he's clearly very focused. it's nice to see him enjoying himself! besides, basil always does like taking photos of people who are unaware the most :D

I don’t draw or write so I can’t offer him or the fandom anything in this very special day, but would like to humbly shoutout my current favorite Noremma fanfic I found recently! I REALLY STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT IF YOU LIKE THESE TWO GOOFBALLS. It’s “All Eyes on You” on AO3 :D

Its still ongoing with 6 chapters currently and almost 33 thousand words in total, a very wholesome post-canon compliant slow burn. I’ve been hoping someone would write something like this for literal YEARS, and it’s like I manifested it so hard for so long, my brain waves reached the author’s and now all my hopes and dreams are real. I just really hope more people find this gem and appreciate it as much as I do if you are interested :) I don’t know if the author has a tumblr or other social media but if you are reading this I LOVE YOU AND I OWE YOU MY LIFE.
