Gigi couldn't help but shake her head as she waved to the ghouls when leaving the creepeteria. Her friends decided to surprise her and Whisp, who was visiting, with a surprise birthday party. Ever since they found out the day of their creation, each year was a creative way of celebrating it.

Whisp split apart from her after awhile when Catrine snagged her away wanting alone time with her. She could catch up with her sister at home.

That left Gigi alone to Catty's surprise hug, making the djinn laugh loudly as she was hugged and kissed multiple times. All the while, Gigi couldn't stop blushing but looked at her kitten with loving eyes. She snuggled closer in the werecat's embrace with a hum.

     ❝ I am not sure, but I believe you, kitten. Thank you. ❞

Everybody draws hair differently! I usually draw the outer shape of the hair and then fill it in with a few lines here and there to give the illusion of strands styled in the direction the hair flows.

Needless to say, Gigi nearly forgot about her birthday when coming into class. She didn't really do much as she did in high school after first finding out about it. She also didn't know how to spend it since Whisp was taking the day away to spend time with her ghoulfriend. Best not for her sister to come to Paris anyway.

So the TA was pretty shocked when the class greeted her with birthday wishes and even some gifts. Gigi was touched at the kindness. She only had been working there a few months and she felt... welcomed. Paris was dangerous at the time thanks to Hawkmoth, but it was still beautiful.

And so were the people.

After the class was dismissed, Gigi was surprised to hear from the mayor's daughter who quickly passed by before leaving. She didn't have time to give a thank you as Chloe rushed out. The genie blinked but gave a soft smile before her kwami poked out from her ponytail.

     ❝ Seems like even the most complicated humans can offer a sentimental statement as an unpredictable moment. ❞

Gigi could only chuckle, patting Stinng on the head and agreed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEST ONLINE GHOULFRIEND AND AMAZING COSPLAYER, @jaye42 !!! 🎂💝

Today is a very special day as it is Jaye’s birthday! It was hard to believe that during the ten months of messaging each other and commenting on each other’s posts that we became the best of friends than we could ever be. So I spent an entire month of June (All while being with my brother for our Sibling Bonding Time so there are times I have to put it aside) to do what could be my best work so far of 2018. 

Inspired by this post of her and her wife on their Disney Cruise trip, I just HAVE to draw them. Their costumes are just so beautiful and they are adorable together~ The first illustration is should be like how they met like Sirena Shipwreck (Daughter of the Pirate Ghost) crosses path with Nixie Tide (Daughter of the Mermaid) by a pool and she just chatted and flirted just a bit with the hipster mermaid. Needless to say, I did make a few tweaks on their outfits in my drawings because honestly, it is nice but kinda plain so I hope you don’t mind with that Jaye! I even added a bit of Touken Ranbu flare with Sirena’s eyes since you love Mikazuki so much. I’ve also included some of your birthstones to your outfit such as pearls for your hat and necklace along with an alexandrite and a moonstone on your belt. I also hope that your wife likes the outfit and overall appearance I did for her too. And the second one is my favourite one which is Sirena and Nixie attending the Pride Parade as girlfriends 💕 Sirena is wearing the colours of the Pride Flag while Nixie’s colours are from the Lesbian one. The Pirate Ghost’s choker reads out “I’M PROUD” by the way which means that she’s being proud for who she is. The text on the shirts are lyrics from Todrick Hall’s “Boys Wear Pink” where Nixie’s readout “Girls Like Chicks” while Sirena’s is “I’mma Be Me” (Bit of a bonus as well that the back of her shirt also reads out “So F❤ck Your Rules!”)

That does take a majority of my time doing these two, minus the days spent with family and my brother, but I am happy to do it for my friends. Jaye, thank you so much again for being my best friend and the Dames to my Mary. Again, happy birthday my dear friend and happy Pride Month to you and your wife 💝
