Thinking about what she does for her bday is a little tough bc she’s got two perspectives depending on which version of her is being asked.

If it’s Genshin!Dola, who in this case is just very happy to be in Mondstadt for her birthday again… She’d probably be spending the day cooking and baking her own food for her own little celebration? A mix of Fontainian and Mondstadter cuisine, and Adelinde would not be allowed to help her.

All her close friends are invited, so pretty much the most of the adult Mond roster that she grew up with—so that’s Diluc (ofc), Kaeya, Jean (+ Barbara), and Eula? Basically the nobles, then she can’t forget Lisa (who is bordering on being an auntie for her) and since she kinda comes as a package with Kaeya, Jean, and Lisa, Klee is there too.

(There are of course letters sent by friends she’s made during her travels over the years. One from Wrio and Sigewinne, some from a funeral parlor in Liyue and a law consultancy, perhaps a letter from the pharmacist, and of course, a letter and present from a certain man from Snezhnaya that Dola has to stop Diluc with burning.)

Very small gathering at first, then slowly expands the longer she’s in Mond and the more she befriends people. She’s just happy to be able to do this again with all her friends! Ofc she had celebrations with Wrio and some of the other Fontaine cast but it’s different when you grew up with these guys, you know?

(And the end of the day she’s exhausted from cooking and hosting and cleaning, so it’s either Diluc just focuses on making her feel good in bed or they don’t even do anything spicy and he just treats her to the nicest massage ever with his very strong hot hands :3 Cuddles after ofc, no matter what ends up happening)

If it’s OM!Dola she’s be much more laid back about her birthday, she’s had so many after all. It’s just a lazy day in, work completely forgotten, and there’s an equal chance of it just being her two beloveds being her company all day (which probably leads to, ahem. Some non-stop fun everywhere, all throughout her apartment) but if the brothers + angels pay her a visit it’s basically just all of them hanging out while Dola pays for all the takeout they get.

It only devolves into a mess when it’s time to open gifts. Everyone gets competitive. Levi and Asmo especially, since they consider themselves closest to Dola after Satan.
