Hello! Just discoreved your blog, such a heaven for Jalice stans!! So, my question is soo random, but, like, I've been into a lot of Jalice content lately, reading about them in all universes and what caught me the most was them as parents (coming from a very old and kinda bad fic on ff.net). ^^^ these guys know their stuff and are absolute gems in this fandom ⭐ Do I see Alice and Jasper as parents? As vampires - no. I say this with love, but they are both too manipulative, stubborn and selfish, in the sense that I don't think they'd be able to put their own child above their need to make each other safe and happy. There's evidence throughout BD book that even Edward and Bella cannot do this with Renesmee. The child will come second, or third.

As humans? Probably not. Maybe, and this is a stretch for me, maybe if they became parents at an older age (late 30s, early 40s). I think for me their "physical" age in Twilight comes with a lot of emotional immaturity. I'm not saying that young parents aren't mature or don't mature for their children but Alice and Jasper's character traits do not scream parental to me. Jasper will always put Alice's safety above anything else and Alice will do the same. And I don't actually think they want to change that or develop that need into something slightly healthier. They both have dark pasts, a lot of unspoken trauma and I just don't see their love extending to a child.

DK Jonathan having trouble with one of his Arkham patients. She doesn't talk and won't even look at him until he did something stupid (like almost falling over his legs) and she laughs behind her hand. It's a pretty laugh. He decides to take a more casual approach and when he actually helps her with something she says "Thanks.". Turns out she wasn't talking because she knew he didn't really care but with that he proved he wasn't really inert. After a few more times they start a secret relationship. She even jokes when they make out at their 'sessions' to be careful to not be caught.

• I stan that Jonathan would be absolutely head over heels for you, the very second he heard your precious laugh escaping your lips.

• It was a weird feeling for him, though – Our man is not the type to fall in love in an instant, nor he would've imagined falling for an Arkham patient!

• But after a short while of observing you, he noticed you were different than the rest of the lunatics that were thrown into Arkham. You were.. quiet, tranquil, you barely noticed him and you never lifted your gaze to look at him. Nor you really talked. Jonathan was curious about you.

Do you think they are a group formed by fate? I’ve seen a lot of people on stan Twitter and fans in my county ( they use Facebook) have said many things abt how they are destined to be together.

about gyuvin and yujin.. i saw totally different thing.. someone asked about how zb1 sees yujin and when i asked how gyuvin sees yujin, the devil popped up with the ace of wands in the bottom, so gyuvin might think yujin is too attached/obsessed of him. i wasn’t expecting that but i expected some sort of neutral answer, or for gyuvin to block his thoughts since it’s happened before 😭

about zb1’s popularity, i didn’t saw anything significant for them, at least currently. there were some questions about it and i felt their debut won’t start that well possibly because of other people. maybe there will be manipulation scandal? (like chart/sales one, not dating for sure) but with the time they’ll gain fans. however, i don’t think they’ll be as popular as they really deserve. they might be remembered after disbandment, which to me isn’t suprising.

Man I knew it was coming but seeing this animated still hurts. Ouka is my 2nd fave girl so her leaving really is a big blow. BUT I’m happy for her taking her own future in her hands and pursuing her dreams. What’s for you won’t go by you so if she and Hayato are meant to be, they’ll workout somehow. Plus the girls will always be watching over from afar. That kiss was so good too, last week it was Hayato surprising Riho and this week he’s the one getting surprised lol

Overall, this season was much better than season 1 in my opinion. The other cafe and its cast of girls, the familia girls all getting their character arcs and learning about their families, Hayato realising how he feels and eventually dropping out of Todai to run the cafe etc. Feels like the plot took a big step forward this season and where we left off today feels like it truly entering a new chapter. Hopefully the BD sales and manga are doing well enough to get us another season

Few highlights from this finale I loved were the CHIHAYAFURU mention! That was a big plus for me as a massive chihayafuru stan, the vibrator gift and then Ami dumbass printing a picture of Ouka and putting it in front of Hayato 😂 she so slow man, love her to bits.

I love Cal and Merrin. Truly a GOOD, healthy ship. Enemies to lovers except its "I HATE HIM" vs "its all a big misunderstanding". Truly they have so much in common, their trauma mirrors the other. They are the last of their people and carrying around that burden, which is heavy. Add that Merrin is being actively groomed/manipulated by Malicos and she's got no one she can trust, not even her own perspective.

And I love that Cal always hit her with kindness, even when she was setting zombies after her. He doesn't immediately get in her way, even when he says "if you attack me again, I'll strike you down," he's giving her a chance to meet him in the middle.

I ADORE when he GIVES her his lightsaber. She's been trying to kill him for a hot minute now, giving it to her is, I would argue, not smart and Cal does it anyway. What I like about Cal is that he is able to hold on to his vulnerability and his willingness to see the good in people when the trauma he endured could have made him angry (and understandably so). He offers it to her as a gesture of good will, of faith. "I'm giving you this object, trusting you will not hurt me and letting you see I will not hurt you."

And OOF Merrin is a good little droid mom IM SORRY but when she says "I can't understand you," she doesn't shoo BD-1 away. I think she'll learn. Merrin is only with the Mantis Crew for Cal, had been an anti-hero for the whole story, and then DIVES into Darth Vader infested water to save Cal. QUEEN WE STAN A QUEEN literal Queen behavior right there.

Cannot wait to see more of their journey. I love them. Truly an iconic duo. Who is doing it like the two of them + BD-1? NO ONE

What bother me about Diavolo's "birthday event"

i need to get this salt out of my system before Diavolo's birthday actually arrived so- here's a thread of what bothers me and why it's the exact opposite of special treatment

so are we just gonna witness Diavolo's birthday getting sacrificed every year? seeing him not getting a proper birthday event every year?? just to keep OM! revenue because their poor events planning and/or poor decisions at the start about choosing characters' birth dates without thinking far to the future???

I'm not even exaggerating that I've been feeling down this whole month ever since the rumour came out (even cried to sleep on some nights lol). It's supposed to be a good month for Dia stan and I really want to feel happy bc I love him so much but i still feel like this lol. (it's a bit better than when i originally wrote this a few days ago, but still).

I thought after the Halloween event out of the way the rumour could be untrue and we can just chill with a proper Dia birthday event but apparently not lol. And even then I've been thinking and there's so much way to squish events in which Dia gets a proper birthday event. And don't you dare tell me they don't want players to feel burn out and/or bored, because that's exactly what they've always been doing anyway (squishing events).

at this point I'd even prefer if the devs have the celebration in mid Nov if it means we could have a proper birthday event for my man.

[Stream Summary] Aragami Oga's 6th January 2021 stream

Happy new year! the resident demon Aragami Oga was finally able to deliver his first personal stream for 2021 after a hectic week of events (from Christmas up until his karaoke and new outfits reveal!).

Oga opened the stream by reminiscing the last time he was able to do free-talk like this was around last month on 29th, he had quite a troublesome but fun week due to his karaoke relay and new outfits stream. Even after that, he had to catch up with other personal stuff, and in the end didn't realize it's already been a week into the year. Though after that he managed to drop in for a couple of collabs like the group collab in Rikka's channel and a hanafuda session as Foxdemon. His busy schedule made him unable to make time for his 50k subs celebration stream so he's thinking of rounding it up along with his 60k subs celebration since he recently passed the mark while he was having a collab with Fubuki. Oga reminds people that his birthday is coming up (15th January), and some viewers said they sent him a present in which he thanked them for it. He then mentioned that he's been getting a lot of new year cards from fans, he was overjoyed by it and thanked everyone who had sent him one for this year. He noticed each of the cards has its own uniqueness like there are some who included illustration and such. Speaking of new years, Oga wasn't able to do much for the occasion beside getting a call from his mother, he didn't even get to eat mochi or osechi alike. He expressed his intention of getting a kotatsu but he's looking for a specific one where he can put it over a desk with chairs around, due to his height he often complained that his feet would go over the normal kotatsu so he wasn't able to fully wrapped himself up in it.

He picked up a comment from chats that were asking for his mask to be sold as goods, but Oga considered it would be hard to do because his mask was quite pointy, although he mentioned if an alternative version could be made (like Shien's kageyamaDX toy sword) he might think about it. Talking more about future goods possibility, he's actually interested in having a voiced dakimakura as his new goods, he thought it might be interesting to add a voice feature so it would respond as you hugged it with various lines. The same goes for his oppai mousepad idea, although he realized the cost for these types of goods would be quite expensive because of all the added features.

Oga said that he actually very rarely eats a wholecake, this is also because he mostly never finishes eating it or he didn't invite people to eat with him. He also mentioned he doesn't really eat sweets that much but he recalled one time when he's craving Baskin robins' ice cream and ended up ordering one for himself. In the middle of the talk, he got reminded that his acrylic stand sample actually arrived recently but he noticed the expression on the sample he got is different so he had been requesting a replacement from the company.

The topic is now shifting to the condition around the place he currently resides in, Oga mentioned there have been some problems that made him unable to hold a morning stream as often. One is about certain loud sounds with a weird stench coming caused by nearby construction below his place (although it's starting to get much quieter lately) and another one is about a certain cockatoo that was placed on his apartment hallways, it's said that their voices could be heard toward the entire hallways because of how loud they are and Oga had no way of knowing when they would say something, the cockatoo is most active at morning and likes to call out the residents by their name so he thinks if his mic happened to pick up those noises during stream it might be dangerous.

When talking about new year's cards again, Oga mentioned the card he received from his sister and how she used the precure sticker he actually bought for her kid back then. The talk shifts into him acknowledging that he's not really familiar with the precure series and started asking about the latest series, the chats ended up asking him about various other series too like pripara, aikatsu, pretty rhythm and it's spinoff, as well as sumikko gurashi, all of which he claimed to be not familiar of. He mentioned that he might try to watch them out one of these days, however.

One of the chats is asking him a peculiar question out of a sudden, "If you were a girl, what kind of guy you would date?" to which he answered that he didn't really think about it before but he'd like to date someone like Miyabi in his new outfit. He ended up complimenting Miyabi's new outfits again because out of all the new outfits, Miyabi's was actually the one that made him swooned the most. He then wondered if there is someone who would be making a doujinshi with Miyabi in his new outfits, then told people to give him a notice because he would love to read it. Talking more about doujinshi, he actually felt a bit embarrassed if he ever reads his own doujinshi (unless it's a war/battle-themed story) but is really enthusiastic about reading others' doujinshi. Oga wondered if there are people who would make holostars doujinshi by next comiket and thinking of going if the event is finally resumed again, though he could also just ask some staff to get it if there's any. He started talking about going to other offline events such as the GBF's granbluefes, he said that he never actually get to attend one so he'd like to go one day once they could finally hold another one.

Talking about GBF, Oga isn't really a dedicated player and it was proven by how he couldn't even finish a magna tier-2 raids by himself, he recalled that Shien also played and he's probably doing much better than he does, Shien could probably carry him if they were on the same crew. He then started talking about his eternals collection, he recruited Sarasa and Siete so far then considering between Okto or Nio for his next recruit, after seeing several opinions on chats he decided on Okto. As for arcarum evokers, he actually planned on getting Nier (his only evokers as of now is Alanaan) but was halted because of the lack of material he had now since he was actually going for Hanged-Man arcana before switching to Death arcana mid-way.

Regarding the comeback concept prompt,

First of all, before I get into what I thought was the most memorable and iconic, I want to give a quick shoutout to Superhuman. Whilst it was not the best executed comeback by far, seeing how deeply underrated and under-appreciated it still is and how SM focused on North America for the most part, it is one of my my favourite NCT comebacks of all time, easily top three. When it was announced and when they teased it on American shows, I could not imagine the concept or MV at all, maybe its my lack of imagination but I could not imagine 127 wearing superhero outfits and the likes you would normally associate with such a concept. The MV is amazing as well as the song, pink hair Jae changed the trajectory of my life, I watched so many reactions of it from experts just to reassure myself that I had taste even though the general public didn’t. Quick disclaimer, I don’t follow lore that closely so my opinion isn’t really based on that. One last note before my actual pick, I think my favourite album design is the white Resonance PT 2. Its just a fun concept and it makes me happy seeing them all together.

Now for my actual pick: Empathy.

Empathy era is what actually got me into NCT so it would make sense that it was the most memorable for, though that kinda shows bias, but it is my opinion after all. Every single aspect was done so well imo, it was so iconic and I thought it could never be topped, maybe to this day I might still think that. NCTmentary, I don’t understand it but it still amazed me. Yearbook, one of my favourite introductions, even though it wasn’t my favourite looks, it was iconic in every way. The title tracks, BOSS, BDS, the unit promos, Touch and GO, I can’t believe I took these for granted. As a hard OT23 stan with U being my favourite unit, this was heaven. The concept switch of Dream and 127 was really refreshing and BOSS is definitely my favourite performance and U unit. The members got to travel together and make memories and enjoy themselves. The appearance of all 18 on Weekly Idol was really brilliant. Who could’ve imagined it, and I wish it still was possible now. That gave such a perfect introduction to the concept of NCT and was so fun as fan watching it. The Vlives of random pairings and groups was so fun to watch because it showed member interaction which is probably my favourite thing. Everyone seemed so happy, this is what also got me into Jaedo, I don’t remember the exact moment, but this era was the one that introduced me to them and I am very grateful. Doyoung’s glow up especially got me, he finally had the black hair which suited him to a T, Cherry bomb and Limitless and T7S was a miss for me. Jaehyun looked great as well. Tae’s red hair was a stand out. Sometimes I forget Regular was released in the same year just because Empathy was such a standout, it outshined every other thing. Also the fandom was much better, less unit wars and everyone was hyped that it would be a yearly thing. There was so much content, from NCT life to YT series, really NCTzens were spoilt so well. Whilst I still am anticipating the next NCT whole group projects, I doubt anything can top the marvel and masterpiece that was Empathy.

There are rumours that NCT2021 should be based on Empathy. I hope so. Episode zero gives me hope.

I'm in love with NCTmentaries. Even if they might look too much at first, they make you comeback to them and with lore evolving appreciate the old MVs anew. It's like you are revisiting a painting and with each take you see more and understand what the artist wanted to say better.

"We are Superhuman" did well for an EP. The fandom simply wasn't as big or as active back then. It had the same sales as a full album (Regular-Irregular). ~300 000

As for the promotion. It was sad. SM trusted the local partner and 127 was made to go to as many radio and morning shows as possible. And the hosts only knew how to ask about favourite food and celebs neos want to collab with. Well, it wasn't for nothing. And SM did a point of showing up with a Korean song this time (Regular was in English).

The fandom and time skews perception of events. 127 was on a world tour. They first paid attention to Japan, then to NA. Why would they promote in SK back then, when SM concentrated on the new markets. Plus, the song was promoted on Korean music shows in summer. It even got 2 wins.
