On 14 March 2024, 藤萍 Teng Ping-laoshi (author of Auspicious Pattern Lotus House) and 严艺丹 Yan Yidan-laoshi (music director for Mysterious Lotus Casebook, who also wrote most of the songs for the OST) posted the lyrics for a song that did not make it to recording eventually.

It's clearly written about Di Feisheng and Li Lianhua/Li Xiangyi, and I've translated the lyrics below:

𐙚 number of fics written: 21! including 11 drabbles and nine one-shots and one (incomplete) series. i’m very proud of myself actually :,) i didn’t write as much as my first tumblr year but i’m pleased with the quality of the longer fics i put out ☺️

𐙚 favorite fic: my top 3 are: la déchirure, this work allowed me to explore themes of grief and how it comes in different shades and impacts our hearts differently. i loved my writing in it, i loved how easy it was for me to think of metaphors (which is my favorite thing about writing hehe) and i loved that many ex-ballerinas found my fic :,) then, the prophecy, this fic has so much of me in it and i need to finish it in 2025. i care for the characters as if they are real people, perhaps because i know what i’ll put them through 😭 but angel!yongbok is so dear to me. i love the storyline and i love the plot twists i have in mind too hehe. finally, starry night. i loved how this fic allowed me to explore vincent vang gogh’s beautiful paintings. i shared my interpretations of art through hyune and it was very very very fun to research and write that fic (thanks again to the person who commissioned me 🥹)

This isn’t a personal issue though, as you’ve heard the hundreds of complaints from both Survivors and Hunters on their ever fading memory. The residents of the manor feared that one day they might lose their memory’s completely. Left only with the knowledge of the manor games and nothing else. Only now did people start to write in their forgotten journals that have been left to collect dust in their drawers. Nowadays, your forced to tread carefully around the manor in fear of stepping in a pool of ink or on one of the many broken quills that scatter the ground.

Unfortunately, the Prospector started later then the others. Therefore, he struggles to remember exactly when he started to fall for you.

Maybe he started to fall for you when you shared your first match together. It’d been roughly a month since you sealed your fate by entering the manor, and by now you had grasped the rules of the game. Norton didn’t pay you any special attention, just that you were the newest Survivor and that was that. Once the match had started, Norton was spotted first by Sangria and was forced to kite until his legs would give out underneath him. He tried to buy enough time for his teammates to decode, but all it took was an ounce of cockiness and a terror shock for him to be knocked down. He was quickly thrown into a rocket chair before Sangria left to patrol the area.

Little did either of them know, you were hiding near his chair and quickly got him out. As Sangria came back to his chair, she was surprised to see you and him running away at full speed and taking on the task of kiting for the remainder of the match.

It was a four man victory.

Or maybe he started falling for you when he got REALLY injured. Like, bed-bound type of shit. An attempt to climb over Lakeside Villages boat ended with both his legs broken. His pain was so bad Ithqua surrendered on the spot and actually apologized after, that was just how bad his condition really was.

You learned from Naib, who directed you to go to Norton’s room if you wanted to see him. You arrived and to Norton you seemed like an Angel to him. Emily has been stuck in a match all day and he’s been dying of starvation, but thanks to you he’s feeling full again after some warm soup.

Emily didn’t even know you were doing this until he mentioned you the other day.

“Thank god. They’re amazing, aren’t they?” Emily asked him, not directly looking for a response.

All she got back was his red face and silence.

Maybe he finally realized he fell for you when you took it upon yourself to sub in for his matches when he was still sick. (Again…) Or maybe it was when you went back for him when the Hunter had detention, or maybe-

Or maybe he’s just been in love with you this entire time, and was just too foolish to realize it.

These thoughts and more occupy Norton’s head as he makes his way to your dorm room. He hopes that you’ll accept him and the flowers he’s brought along with him.

            “Sneaking out? How disloyal,” teased (Y/N) as they stood waiting for Sebastian.

            “ ‘Sneaking out’ is such a crass term,” said Sebastian, arriving by (Y/N)’s side. “I do hope you know I’m above that.”

            “Of course,” said (Y/N), taking his arm as he offered it. “Simply teasing.”

            “The kitten has claws,” murmured Sebastian, leaning in to kiss (Y/N).

            They kissed him in return. “You know I do. Now, what are we doing out?”

            “The other servants were particularly destructive this evening, and the young master requested a quiet night to himself, in not quite-so-polite terms,” said Sebastian.

            “And you decided that meant date night?” said (Y/N), chuckling.

            “You must seize every opportunity for a good time,” said Sebastian. “And I insist on having a moment to treat my darling as they deserve.” He patted their arm and smirked. “We play the roles of servants, and yet we are so much more. Occasionally, we must indulge.”

            “Indulge?” said (Y/N), smirking. “What do you have in mind, dear?” They trailed their fingers up his arm.

            “Nothing like that,” said Sebastian, chuckling. “Though I’m sure it’ll be later.” He grinned. “For now, I have a…gift for you.”

            “A gift?” (Y/N) raised a brow.

            “A gift,” said Sebastian, refusing to elaborate.

            “I’m intrigued,” said (Y/N). “It better be worth the mystery.”

            “I can assure you, it is,” said Sebastian. “I would only ever treat you to the best.”

            “What an excellent partner you are,” said (Y/N), laughing lightly.

            “One hell of a lover,” said Sebastian with a wink.

            “Here we are,” said Sebastian, gesturing to the familiar bar.

            “It’s the same place as our Valentine’s Day date,” said (Y/N). Their nose twitched questioningly.

            “Indeed,” said Sebastian. “I recalled that you liked it, so I kept an eye out for another event like that one.”

            “And what is the event tonight?” said (Y/N).

            Sebastian led them in. “It is an event they have deemed ‘Pride.’ ”

            “Like the sin?” said (Y/N).

            “Precisely,” said Sebastian as they entered the hidden bar properly.

            Lively music was playing, and the couples they had seen before—so far from society’s current standards of “normal”—were dancing wildly. Couples were kissing, people were laughing, and the mirth of all these people not accepted by “civil” society grew with every moment.

            “What-What is this event?” asked (Y/N), staring in surprise.

            “It is for people like us,” said Sebastian. “Those who do not fit what society has deemed acceptable in terms of sexuality.” He looked at them and smiled. “Or gender.”

            “And they’re…proud here? They’re happy?” said (Y/N).

            “As proud and happy as you should be to be standing here today,” said Sebastian, kissing their forehead.

            Indeed, (Y/N) was.

            They had been made to play a role in society they hadn’t been pleased with in life. They had been born into it with no choice to express themself in the way they wanted to. But now…Felis the demon stood tall, able to be themself. They could dress masculine one day, feminine another, play every role as they wished. They were free to be proud in their identity.

            “This is…lovely, Corvus,” murmured (Y/N). “Thank you.”

            “Of course,” said Sebastian.

            He was, of course, glad that (Y/N) had died and become a demon. They were a fantastic demon and the love of his eternity. But he also knew they hadn’t gotten the life they deserved. They hadn’t lived as they wanted. So Sebastian gave them a moment to see that there were places to be proud of their identity outside of society’s dictations and rules.

            (Y/N) held his hand tightly and smiled at him. “I love you, Corvus.”

            “I love you, too, Felis,” said Sebastian.

            He leaned in and kissed them, and they kissed him back passionately. When they separated, Sebastian and (Y/N) smiled at one another.

            “Oh, what a beautiful display of passion and ardor!” said a familiar voice.

            (Y/N) and Sebastian’s faces fell into deadpans.

            “Show me such adoration!” said Grell, launching herself at them.

            (Y/N) and Sebastian stepped to the side, and Grell fell to the ground.

            “Sebastian, we can never come back here,” said (Y/N). “They have riffraff.”

            “Apologies,” sighed Sebastian. “What a disappointment.”

            “Hey!” cried Grell, standing up and crossing her arms. “I’m here for this ‘Pride’ Event or whatever, too!”

            “Oh, yes, I forgot that you flirt with everything that moves,” said (Y/N).

            “Only the attractive ones,” said Grell, winking. “Now, I’m not here to fight, just to have a good time.” She twirled around in a red dress. “I’m here to show myself off.”

            “So you’re not going to bother us again?” said Sebastian, raising an eyebrow.

            “Well, I might ask for a dance or two,” joked Grell.

            “Fine,” said (Y/N). They waved a hand. “This is a celebration for all of people like us. Even the crazier ones.”

            “You’re not going to throw me out?” said Grell, brightening.

            “We’re…tolerating her?” said Sebastian dubiously.

            “Just for tonight,” said (Y/N) to both of them. They smiled sharply. “But if she tries anything, I’ll personally handle her.” They crossed their arms. “But she’ll behave, right? We’re a community right now.”

            “R-Right,” said Grell, scared.

            “Well, then, Grell, welcome to the party,” said Sebastian. He crossed his arms and watched Grell happily scamper off to dance.

            “Don’t worry, Sebastian, we’ll have plenty of time to ourselves,” said (Y/N), kissing his cheek. “But Grell is like me. Getting a chance to be herself after living unhappily. Just…give her a moment.”

            Sebastian sighed. “I am indulging you because I love you, I hope you know that.”

            “I know. I’ll make it worth the trouble,” said (Y/N), laughing and kissing his cheek. “Now, come on. Let’s dance.”

            Sebastian let them pull him onto the dance floor. He supposed their pride was worth the trouble. He loved them.

Halloween 2024: Johnny Bravo and Velma Dinkley

Another one that was years in the making. Seeing a pattern here? Don't worry, I've got a lot of these. More than I have funds sadly. Anyway!

As you can see we have another crossover for Halloween except this one is canon! Everyone's favorite Crossover Ship from 90's Cartoon Network, Johnny Bravo and Velma Dinkley! XD You just had to be there.

This crossover came from the fact that Johnny Cage's chest tattoo and dark sunglasses just SCREAMED Johnny Bravo to me as well as his martial arts training and, most importantly, EGO! Was gonna pair up Heather Asplund from the Valentine's Day special as his Sonya Blade, but after thinking it over, I'd be doing this couple a massive disservice by not having Velma in the flak vest. We know what she's hiding under that sweater! XD

While the pose is a reference to MK1, the costumes are all MK9. They're the right kind of over the top. Plus as you can see from these two, they both love how well the other looks in their costumes. I like the headcanon that the trophy Johnny's carrying is the trophy they won for Best Couples Costume. And you can't convince me otherwise! XD

As always BIG thanks to Aeo for the great pic and thank God for giving me the chance to score a slot on the VERY last day of the October I could get it! Anyway enough of my ramblings!

Dan and Phil dressed in Kuromi and My Melody themed outfits

After making the Halloween Baking dolls I wanted to make more dnp dolls but had no concrete outfit ideas until I saw @danrifics 's meet and greet pics of them with Kuromi and My Melody headbands. The idea of making them in themed outfits would not leave my head so I caved and here we are.

I wanted the dolls to be a good balance of reflective and opposing of each other so they'd still look like a matching pair while being unique to their own styles, allowing for Phil's outfit to be relatively simple whilst Dan's has a lot of little embellishments. This also let Phil have a bolder light pink whilst Dan's is a very pale almost white (though both of the lighter pinks are a bit pale in the pics compared to the actual dolls, sorry about that).

Often when My Melody has head decoration she gets lop ears and I thought that'd be cute for Phil, especially because I wanted to give him a crown (give! Phil! a grape!). This is partially due to his 2024 Birthday Stream's outfit being inspiration for the doll's outfit (and a happy belated birthday to him!) in place of the cape My Melody normally has. The lop ears also reads very puppy-ish in contrast to Dan/Kuromi's kitty-ish appearance (even though both of them are rabbits).

I was originally going to give him a black heart decal where My Melody usually has a flower but it distracted from the crown so I put it on his shirt because he does like graphic tees and it gives him an additional black accessory (which was helpful because the black belt I was going to give him looked awful).

Dan has a similar heart decal in pink in place of the skull decal Kuromi normally has- I did try making the hood have the point at the top of the face but it made his curls look weird. I considered adding a pink bow as well but it looked excessive.

I had planned to give Dan fingerless gloves but they looked weird with the sleeves so instead I gave him a black bracelet opposite his earring and eventually gave Phil one on his opposing hand to match. Coincidentally those are their dominant hands.

Kuromi already has a devil tail so instead of My Melody's bunny tail I gave Phil (precious baby) angel wings. Their top half outfits are both technically removable but Dan's head is too big to actually do so. Their underwear is the other's primary colour, just for fun (though that's only visible in the wip pics)

I'm really pleased with how the hair turned out- I got Dan's fringe to listen to me this time because I used a less stiff yarn so it swoops better and Phil's got his roots visible slightly from the back. And also the only reason why Phil's doll was completed at all was thanks to @yharnamsnewslug 's suggestion I use a darker pink for the shorts instead of the same light pink as the overshirt because I definitely would've run out of yarn. I really lucked out finding the dark pink in my scrap yarn, it was just barely enough for the shorts.

I technically made these to celebrate Phil's birthday and the end of the Terrible Influence Tour but managed to finish them and take the pics just as the sun set on Feb 13 which also feels very appropriate considering all of the pink and hearts, so Happy Valentine's Day!

(listen it's so hard to position dolls that are weird shapes and aren't exactly stable enough to stand on their own in a kissing position i tried so hard but i only have 2 hands and i needed them both to take the picture i tried i'm sorry this is why the sister daniel and devil phil ones ended up lying down i tried i promise you i did try)
