preference of communication : i prefer tumblr im to start with so we can get to know each other and do some light plotting. then move onto discord for in-depth plotting if our personalities mesh well :)

most active muse :  i go through phases where i'll have a lot of muse for a certain few one week and then lose their voice the next week lol, and a lot of the muses i have are quite selective because their setting/personality is very specific and can sometimes be hard to tap into. generally, i'm always rarin' to go with jeannie, ingrid, lisa, gideon, heidi, vikram, and taher. (now actually getting people to rp with these hoes is the hard part lmao)

experience / how many years : i don't want to talk abt it... jk, i started in 2005 i believe? on myspace mainly and i lurked a few message boards back in the day but never actually used them. i wasn't always roleplaying though, i'd often take long breaks throughout the years, sometimes for months, but it's been a part of my life for a long time! after myspace shut down, i went on to roleplayer.me until 2015 when one day i saw an rpg promo in devon bostick's tag (that name's a blast from the past, i know) and i subsequently made the permanent switch to tumblr :) so you can pretty much consider me a veteran around these parts. i remember the days when people used the cast of one tree hill when it was actually currently airing as fcs (or playbys, as we called them) and every third muse was named seraphina!!!

best experience : i think one of the best times i had on here was during christmas 2015 in the rpg hell state bc it was very active and i had a lot of good storylines going! the best time i had on rp.me was the group verse i had for a knockoff of terra nova called alia terra, which i actually made into an rpg on here and then made a closed verse between lucia and i so we could continue some dino fun! but i did it on rp.me shortly before i made the switch to tumblr so i kinda roll that all into one. i mean don't get me wrong i've had some great experiences on here, and lately have been having an amazing time with my writing partners, new and old, but those two are events that stick out in my mind. and also meeting lucia in 2015 duhhh of course!!!!!!!

rp pet peeves : honestly i don't want to say bc i don't want to hurt anyone's feelings or discourage people from writing with me lmfao, but i'll just say it has to do with dropping articles and using two certain french words 😬😬😬

fluff, angst, or smut : if i could crush up angst and snort it i would. i don't write smut (just a personal choice, not a judgment!) and fluff doesn't really interest me unless there's an undercurrent of angst or toxicity lmaooo, but i'm mostly interested in genre fiction like horror/slasher or sci-fi anyway and angst is kind of a package deal with those topics

plots or memes : i like to start with a general idea and then just kinda improvise. i also don't mind having structed plot points like going from a > b > c but having the freedom to do what we want in between those points. i also have absolutely no issue with changing or adding things as we go along! i'm basically very hype for anything

long or short replies : i'm a wordy bitch! when it comes to replies, i tend to stick with 2-4 for my 'shorter' threads but i have no issue getting up to 5-9 paragraphs if i'm really feeling something. no worries about matching length, btw, as long as it's not egregious like getting a few sentences in response when i wrote you four paragraphs, because i feel that's just rude. i also tend to start out small and get bigger as we go on, since i do like to begin with a general idea and add on from there

time to write : so before i started my current job, i only wrote at night because writing when the sun was up seemed morally wrong lmfao. nowadays, i sometimes write my replies at work on my google drive and then edit/format them once i get home, but that's only when i work alone and it's not super busy, and i actually have writing muse for that day. after work, i'll get on after midnight since i don't get home until late and need to put on my jammies, take off my makeup, eat dinner, and watch some tv. even on my days off, i most likely won't get on until late in the night because my family actually has the audacity to want to see me during the daylight hours 🙄

are you like your muses : i have a lot of muses that share similarities with myself, but i also have muses i have absolutely nothing in common with, like blair the satanic serial killer or lauren the son of a cult leader turned political campaign manager. more than likely they'll have something random from me like also being allergic to penicillin or they drive a buick like i do lmao, but i don't have a muse i would really consider my 'self-insert' character!

Firstly, when I had my RP blog where I rped my two ocs Clint and JD, the rp we had going there was beyond fun, and from then, and I can still say it now, your writing is and remains incredible. You can tell by just reading and looking through your blog(s) about how passionate you are in your work and your character(s). Though you sent me this on your craig blog, I mean this for ALL your ocs and all your other RP blogs you do have cause its universal.

Besides that, you are a very easy person to talk with and when I left the rp community all those years back, you were the only person who kept in contact with me and kept talking to me despite my long hiatus, so to speak, and I cannot tell you how appreciative I am to of had that, and I don't take it for granted, not even in the slightest. hi guys!! my name is caoimhe, i'm twenty-nine years old, i'm in cst, and it's been a very hot minute since i did any of this, but i'd love to get back into doing rp after taking a bit of a hiatus during school!! in general, i love long-term plots where we develop everything out, swap moodboards and playlists and memes and headcanons, and just generally get excited about the story we're telling. i also love slow burns with angst and buildup. logistically speaking, i tend to prefer rping on discord, i tend to prefer literate or at least semi-literate replies, and i tend to (in general) prefer playing male characters in 1x1 rps, though i'm happy to play female characters in the right plot (like an fxf), or in a mumu (which I adore: give me literally all the multimuse plots, i beg). i'd also prefer to rp with people 21+ (bonus points for 24+). you can find a sample of my writing here. if you're interested, check out a brief rundown of some plots i'd like to see under the cut and see if we mesh. if so, i'd love to hear from you!

Here's a WIP of my notes on how to characterize tr!Phil. :) I can elaborate on any points if need be! Eventually this will be turned into a full-on analysis post that elaborates anyway.

Obviously I'm gonna update this list every time a) something that's already been established comes back to mind (not much considering man's is all log) and b) as Phil plays on The Realm more.

REMINDER: ccPhil is NOT doing lore on The Realm. This post is for people who want to make fan content for him like fics or headcanons. And for help including him accurately in other people's lore, like Sneeg's. And here is a helpful post elaborating on ccPhil's SMP roleplay/lore making process.

Additionally, to at least MENTION the fan theories/headcanons about tr!Phil in reference to the Philza Cinematic Universe(tm) since it'll probably have a huge influence on how people write tr!Phil—

There's 3 "possibilities" for who tr!Phil is:

tr!Phil is his own guy

tr!Phil is o!Phil reincarnated

tr!Phil is "main" (hc/smpe/c/q)!Phil

Anyway, to elaborate on those 3 theories:

First one's self-explanatory.

Second one originates from the way that tr!Phil is very "fuck everyone and everything except tr!Sneeg, that's my friend," and some other similarities in personality and behavior that tr!Phil shares with o!Phil, like his expensive tastes and love for looting. The bit about him being reincarnated comes from the way Phil says (/j? /hj? /srs???) that o!Phil is dead.

And the third one I'm gonna explain in more detail below:

I'm personally rolling with the theory that this is "main" Phil BUT I love the o!Phil theory/headcanon too and would be happy if Phil changed his mind and did intentional lore that confirmed either of these.

His (albeit ooc, since he's not intentionally rping) refusal to join the factions is an aversion from suffering through Purgatory, and his even more intense refusal to have a snail is from the trauma of losing Chayanne and Lullah.

He came to The Realm (per Tubbo/Sneeg/Fit's pleading) to recover from the heartache QSMP inflicted upon him while also seeing his friends again, since being alone in the Hardcore World hasn't been the easiest after spending a year and a bit almost never alone.

The Roleplay community in wow is definitely a hidden one so happy to share and help you get your footing!

Do you want to play Horde or Alliance? That choice may influence which server you will pick. Moon Guard is primarily Alliance, but it does have a small horde community. Wyrmrest Accord is the inverse with a big Horde community and smaller Alliance one. However now that guilds are cross server AND cross faction the barrier between these servers is starting to thin. Essentially you are really picking one server over the other for random chance world rp encounters and even there rpers have “anchor groups” for people to hop servers or phases and be in the same space for big events.

How do I find people to roleplay with? You can always walk through Stormwind or Orgrimmar on MG or WrA but the best way to get consistent rp is through guilds. Each guild is essentially a massive dnd group. Some are so big they basically have guilds within their guilds.

On top of guilds there is a massive network of discords that communities use to coordinate server wide events like the Tournament of Ages or Conquest on Moon Guard. Guilds will also advertise in these discords and open events usually advertise there as well!

You can also search the WoW forums of these servers for events and guilds to join.

Do I need addons? Yes! Addons are essential for rping. Three addons are a must Total Roleplay 3, emote splitter, and Listener/snooper.

Total Roleplay 3 or TRP is essentially a character sheet that players can mouse over you and read. You can describe your character, the way they sound, or act in glances, write a short bio, and more.

Emote Splitter - This addon with allow for you to write and post long emotes and it will split it up for you based on wow’s chat character limit.

Listener/Snooper - wow rp can be an overwhelming amount of text sometimes. This addon will ping you if someone says your name and will allow you to mouse over a character and see exactly what they said.

What lingo should I know?

OOC - out of character

IC - in character

(Text) - This is a comment being said oocly

Para - this player likes to write in descriptive paragraphs

Mirror - this player will mirror your style

Any other tips? Elune yes. Write your emotes on a google doc or something connected to the cloud. Crashes happen and you will lose an emote you spent 3 minutes writing in a flash.

/e - this creates that descriptive orange text. There is a range on this so if a player is out of range they may not see your emote. If you would like to remove your name from the descriptive text type “/e |”

Grab a bunch of elixir of tongues! They are always good to have on hand in case you run into an opposite faction player.

There’s a lot of toys and potions out there that do cool stuff! Keep your eyes open for them!

Alright so the first one is this idea I had where ElQuackity would be 'dancing' with his twin in some twisted form of like the waltz or something. Quackity is like heavily implied to be unconscious and stuff.

The second one is just a quick little sketch to show the physical differences between the twins. It's not as precise as I would've like it but eh.

The last two are from the stream of Quackity's return, sad wet duck and then happy wet duck with his pan con aguacate!

Aurelio arrives to the opera house quieter than usual, his expression dark and eyes with slightly darker eye bags than usual. After last night's reveal that one of the Eriks had been courting both himself and the granddaughter of Christine, he had got drunk at home and cried himself to sleep.

He sets about maintaining props per usual, but not speaking to anyone.
