Almost Heaven Official's Blessing: Halloween Special!

I know, you never thought you would see them again, but I had a very specific idea for a halloween comic and I just had to do it. Pretend it's still the 31st in my country and Happy Halloween!

This comic is a bonus side story of the comic "I haven't read tgcf" and set into the alternate universe of this comic: Heaven's Corp. Characters are per se inherently ooc. Please read this comic with this in mind, thank you!

Some fun fact about this comic specifically I felt like mentioning:

I nicknamed Xie Lian's costume the suppository... He just looks like one.

Xie Lian didn't wear anything under his costume so he could surprise Hua Cheng but his plan backfired because of the groper.

Hua Cheng wasn't here to win the costume competition, he was just here to seduce Xie Lian.

Depending on who she is talking to, Miku (Ling Wen) either says she is dressed as Hannibal Lecter, or what she said in this comic.

Miku intended on winning the competition but because Hua Cheng ditched Beef she was forced to break character to drive him home. Which also secured Beef as the winner.

Beef's wheelchair is, as he said, his. He used it when he got into the car accident that killed his girlfriend, and kept it for when his legs hurts. He can otherwise walk without issues.

Manwhore (Pei Ming) and Yushi Huang are dressed as Gomez and Morticia Addams respectively. They did not discuss this beforehand.

I didn't show Feng and Qing here but Feng is dressed as a vampire and Qing as a werewolf.

Beef and Hua Cheng are in fact roomates.

You know what Jun Wu was dressed as. You know it.

Of course I had to doodle the spoopy boy before the spoopy month is over :) he just got adopted made a new friend ฅ⁠^⁠•⁠ﻌ⁠•⁠^⁠���

“wait, are you really scared?”

you groan into the pillow you have your face smushed into. you know you’ll have indents on your cheeks from how hard you’re holding it, but it’s either that or gorey jump scares.

“yes, touya, i’m fucking scared.”

you hear his chuckle from the other side of the couch and fight the urge to smack him with the pillow. if only it wasn’t the one thing protecting you right now.

“aw,” he coos, dripping in condescension, “poor baby. c’mere—i’ll save you.”

your snort is muffled by the fabric, but you scoot across the couch toward his voice anyway. in a rather impressive display of coordination, you manage to drag yourself up to settle on his chest—all without losing your blinder.

“there ya go,” touya murmurs, plucking the pillow from your hands. you squawk, reaching to grab it back before the next scene.

“why are you like this? give me it—“

you’re cut off by sudden darkness. you blink, and as your eyes adjust, you see much more of your boyfriend’s skin than you had just a second ago.

“touya.”

“yeah, babe.”

“i am in your shirt.”

you feel the laugh rumble under your palms. “yeah, you are.”

“why am i in your shirt?”

“would you rather watch the movie?”

“….good point.”

you don’t have to see his face to know the grin is there when he pats your head through the fabric. you rest your cheek against his sternum, settling in to his warmth. you can concede that it is much better than the pillow, especially when his fingers drag up and down your back, surprisingly soft for the dog that’s all bite. it nearly puts you to sleep until you feel him startle underneath you. against your ear, his heart kicks, fast and sudden.

“…..are you scared?”

he pokes you square in the forehead through the fabric. “of course not. shut up.”

you bite the inside of your cheek to stifle the grin, even if he can’t see it. even the roughest dogs are afraid of something.

you figured that when you and Bakugou brought those at-home Halloween decorations, that he and you guys’ daughter would do it without problems. figured he’d help her when she needed it, to color in the lines, to get her clean water for her paint brushes, to wipe her hands when she dirtied them too much.

what you didn’t expect, was for there to be so much bickering. not between you and him, but him and your daughter.

“I told you to paint right here!” your daughter yells at him, angry little face pinched in frustration as she huffs. crossing her arms and glaring at him, at a mirror of herself. Bakugou meets her with that same expression; eyebrows drawn down, bottom lip slightly pouted, red sprouting on the high points of their cheeks.

“But you already painted there with your crappy puke green!” he yells back at her, pointing an accusatory paintbrush in her direction. you can only shake your head at them, minding your own business as you paint your little corner that your daughter has delegated to you.

“Because I didn’t want you to forget since you’re so old.” your daughter teases, even dares to stick her tongue out at him. Bakugou scoffs in indignation.

“Old?!” he damn near screeches. your daughter screams to the tops of her lungs when he rips her from her chair (gently, you smile to yourself, watch his quiet hesitation when he puts her in his arms too fast). “Who are ya calling old, you stinky little brat?”

he dangles her upside down, puffing his chest in satisfaction when she screams and giggles and calls to you for help. but you pretend like you can’t get her every time Bakugou pulls her back to his body. her smile is huge, her laughter infectious, so much so that even her dad has to hide his smile when she points up at him, yelling,

“Old man, old man! Ugly old man!” she absolutely squeals when Bakugou only roars at her, the both of them going at it while you continue to paint. when they finally decide to finish, you only hope he’s worn her out enough that she forgets all about trick or treating.

(she doesn’t—if anything, she doubles down and demands that Bakugou wear a crown similar to hers, even though his outfit doesn’t need it. he wears it anyway, proudly, with his little brat perched on his shoulder. you tell him she’s three now, that she doesn’t need to be picked up. but as he carries her slumped over form, asleep from the crash of a sugar rush, he cradles her even closer to his chest. he thinks that she’ll never be too old.)
