There is this girlish, timid part of her that's thinking, oh, wow, I've never been noticed by one of these boys before. The too-handsome, the privileged, the popular and charismatic.

He looks her up and down and she doesn't quite feel seen, or known, but she does feel wanted. It's a bit disarming.

It's not as if Margot is a complete recluse or pariah. Her study group affiliates are wealthy enough to afford tuition (or their families are, at least), and they'll do just fine in their job interviews with top-ten firms or post-graduate schools, but this—it's just different. The social schemes of college students can be enigmatic. Margot does not deign to understand her own place in them, when it comes down to it.

"I'm hearing two completely different things, here," she attempts to jest. Her laugh is awkward because she is awkward. "So I'm not really sure whether to fuck off or, you know, suggest we buy a bottle and find somewhere more interesting to hang out."

If Margot can't kill Jon, maybe she can know him—as Eleanor suggests she does not. Or, she thinks more sadistically, perhaps she can ruin him.

Of course he’s seeing Doctor Lecter I’m the one who gave him the referral🤨 So he just goes “yeahhh bud I know…” and asks Beverly to keep a closer eye on him. Anyway Will thinks everything is all good until Jack walks in on them making out in Will’s classroom and almost has an aneurysm
