Seeing them side to side is really putting it into perspective how weird my son was. He was never great at pivoting or launching himself for speed but once he was full sprint he galloped like a horse. Meanwhile, Blue may as well be a border collie with how much she will just turn on a dime and launch herself into a full sprint in seconds because of that arch in her spine.

I finally got around annotating my copy of Assistant To The Villain (because I always annotate the books I love most with pagemarks and underline with colored pens) and it's honestly embarrassing how much I'm in love with this book

LIKE I'M NOT EVEN HALFWAY THROUGH THE BOOK!! AND LOOK AT ALL THESE MARKS!!

Don't even get me started on the underlined parts. My mom legit started yelling at my over why I was scribbling my books because that was how many parts I was underlining

Hannah just as curiously knelt down, softly petting the fluffy canine. “Sumo’s pretty fond of you, it seems,” Hank said, smiling. “Sumo,” she repeated, a wide grin on her own face. In response to his name, Sumo licked Hannah’s face, making her wince in reflex as she laughed. “I’ll let you two get familiar, that big baby loves attention,” Hank chuckled as he walked to the kitchen to make himself something to eat.
