VV: Why did it make sense to go with Colin — or rather, Polin — before Benedict?

JB: My standard answer for this, which is the truth, is that we spent so long with Penelope and Colin in the first two seasons that we became so invested in these characters, and we’ve also watched Colin be pretty ignorant to the fact that Penelope not only has feelings for him, but she’s obviously so right for him, and it’s frustrating by the end of season two. I think it’s frustrating in a good way. Had we continued that dynamic for one more season, I was worried that it might become frustrating in a bad way. I wanted to push the dynamic in a new direction, start their season so that we could finally have him becoming wise to the feelings Penelope has for him, and see what that would do to their relationship.

The answer that I don’t often talk about as much is with Benedict’s storyline. For fans who know Benedict’s book, his story opens the world of the show in a big way. And that’s really exciting. But in season three, it felt too early to do that. So, people who’ve read the book will know what that means. Also, we were just excited to spend a little more time with Benedict before he settles down. He’s a very impulsive, passionate character, and we wanted to see where his impulses and passions would take him before we tell his happily ever after.

To me, a person that don't like show Penelope and find Show Colin so very boring , things are better this way, get rid of that storyline and prepare to expand the world for Benedict, Eloise and Francesca, their stories involve settings outside the ton so it will make room for more interesting stories and characters

I have zero doubt that Ben is next

Secondly! To that last thing you mentioned about Mambo! In the movie, he's actually talking to Ella while they're finding the prince. A frog comes out, and they try the 'kissing a frog to turn it into a prince' thing XD but imagine if that suggestion was being made towards Granny? He won't turn into a prince, but I don't mind giving this theory a try 👀

(Edit: Ok I rewatched the scene and NOW I hear Mambo saying it XD sorry about that 🤦‍♀️ well uh... Mambo? I don't think that's how that works in Fairytale land... But we can still test this theory!)

But!! But- But! In the movie, the chefs mention Ricky having 'prince envy'. This was probably meant to just be a Rick specific thing, but since this is Fairytale land, imagine if that was like an actual known thing no matter who you are? Being jealous of your crush liking some 'dashing hero'? You get where I'm going with this~?

What if one (or all) the wolves like Y/N, but their crushing on some town hero or something, so THEY are now inflicted with 'prince envy'??? How do you think Big Bad, Granny, and Kiddy would act with the prince envy?

some notes/headcanons:

roxie likes to secretly sew flowers on her colleagues' clothes. andrea is the last one to get her shirt sewn, and it took a Lot of sneaky collaboration from the entire team

amy used to just have her hair on one side but after white peaks she completely shaved one side of her hair

yann's children painted on his labcoat... he claims it was an "accident" but he 100% initiated it

russell has noise-cancelling headphones cus he's sensitive to loud sounds, and his office is in the middle of hannah and yann's so there's a lot of Shenanigans

The Gary route is absolutely not meant for the weak 💀 day 9 was the start of the frustrations with how they coded Gary, MC, and Lottie. Another example of this is when Chelsea reveals the infamous kiss at the ministry party.

They all would briefly mention MC’s involvement with Gary but focus on Hannah and Lottie like????

HELLO?!! My MC is hurting over here. No one gives a rats ass about Hannah 😒 I seriously don’t get how she even matters. If anything, it would have been such a good scene if allowed MC to vent

There’s so many other parts of the game like the disaster recoupling that make my blood boil lol

i love season 2, but the number of prompts in the gary route that are messed up always makes me go mad. especially the one where you tell lottie you won't promise to not couple with him and when you take him on a date, she makes a scene about you going back on your word (and you also think that). much as i love that season, you can totally tell which direction they're forcing you to go and the time they just didn't put into the rest of the routes. im really glad this has improved over the seasons bc the whole thing of you saying one thing and doing it, but having everyone call you a snake and traitor because they messed up the prompt was getting really old

I know you have yet to play CC pacific bay, but - i wanna see how you'd draw the team! (ofc you dont gotta, but id like to see how you interpret their characters from designs alone)

Boy, was this a challenge... but I took it anyway >:)

It was difficult to think about what facial expressions to draw for each one of them since I don't know their personalities (and the photos on Wiki don't really tell much about them), but I hope I drew at least one of them accurately.

Also, I forgot that Russell actually exists, so I just shoved him in Amy's square cuz, if I remember correctly, they kissed at the end of the game.
