So yesterday I was up at 1:00am had a plan to go to Hanmer Spring with an activity group I’m part of, left at 9:30am (takes 1.5 hours to go there) ended up arriving at 12:00pm after a stopping for a quick break. Did some swimming, lounged in the hot pools, went on all four slides. Came home at 5:30pm stayed up watching T.V. Until 11:30am went to sleep after 1:00am (full 24 hours awake) slept till around 5:00pm, only to wake up and find mum watching Stranger Things without me!

She then had the galls to ask how I slept all day.

For those that don’t know me I have serious mental health issues some of them being anxiety and depression. So anything like cooking food is seriously energy draining, so for me being up for 24 hours is big! But me being up for 24 hours leaving the safety of the house (specifically my bedroom) and being around others is astronomically big!

But I’m really proud of myself for yesterday, just got to recover for Monday.

Winter’s Forest

All it takes is a cold snap; a cold snap to start a domino effect of a season. 

A season regarded as having short days and long nights, temperatures going so low that some life forms hibernate or die. The season I’m talking about is “Winter”.

Winter comes in many forms. Wet, Dry and Ice, Where I’m from the winter here is often wet as rainstorms are more common in the northern regions. Where this photograph is taken is often dry and ice, due to being in the southern regions.

This Forest was once a lush and green forest, for three to five months of the year, it goes into a hibernation state where the forest itself doesn’t seem to have life. Still life must go on for future seasons to come.
