The pocket watch I gave my husband years ago when it as considered cool & romantic...if not slightly debonair. Now it hangs on my wall. I kinda like it better there...where I can see it. My grandfather had a watch from the Union Pacific Railroad when he worked on the trains. It was a workman’s watch ...plain & utilitarian, & certainly not as fancy as this. But sometimes I pretend it is his watch.
