Goddd give me Thomas, Martha and Alfred who were completely obsessed with baby Bruce. Martha who’s quiet but solemn affection.

Hand holding, polishing his messy cheeks after he stole dessert from the kitchen, words of affirmation, teaching him how to build confidence brick by brick. “No one is made to be insignificant.”

Thomas who’s bright and loud and bigger than big, who’s just pride embodied. Showing Bruce off at every opportunity. His love is savage by nature.

Squishing Bruce’s face and throwing him around and aggressively kissing him all over his face. Maybe biting into the chub of his cheeks a little. Bruce is like his extra limb.

And Alfred? From the second Bruce took his first breath, he knew. He knew Gotham would drown him in shadow because the little pearl was just too perfect. But he’ll be there.

He was the knight first.

sebastian has dull scales.

it's something he's known ever since the transformation started, ever since he'd felt the sting along his arms and on those babyface cheeks he'd wished to get rid of for so long. no amount of facial hair had ever saved him, and while hed prefer anything other then a reskin like this, it was one he couldn't prevent regardless.

he'd always struggled to sleep. had it been the ache of new replacing the old along the tail that took up so much room, had it been the dark he'd been afraid of ever since he was just a little boy. curling up in his mama's bed as she explained he'd buy him a nightlight to stop him being so afraid.

maybe it could work for himself. he misses the sun, he misses the light catchers mama put in his window. he was her sun, her light. su sol.

he keeps a flashlight, and its absentmindedly at first. whilst fixing pipes or mechanics inside an already run down office. when he places it against the cold ground to free his hands, and his eyes catch against the rainbows that scatter the room. the colours he reflected. that's how it began, at least.

now he can't sleep without it, those days tossing and turning in his nest at the back of his shop, dulled so quickly as soon as he can see those lights again. maybe its the idea something so ugly as himself can make such pretty colours, maybe it's the hope of seeing the surface after the rain clears. whatever makes those nights of exhaustion a little kinder.

I wanted to just draw them vibing on the porch, maybe Bill is angry about something and the rest of the cast made Ford go out there and try to appease him idk, but then I decided he should choke to death on pit cola (he didn't actually die I'm just kidding)

For Bill's outfit I wanted to give him something different than the green shirt this time so he's wearing one of the yellow shirts that are sold in the Mystery Shack and I changed up my design a bit for my human version of @handymanbill this au

I like the idea that handyman!bill just randomly crashes out during work and collapses on the floor.

Everyone is surrounded around him and the Pines twins are poking him with a stick like he was a corpse, fully certain he was dead and already coming up places to bury him until he squirmed and grumbled in his sleep, catching them all off-guard. After, its an accepted thing that bill just randomly passes out. Soos guessed that it was because of his weaker and powerless form and that he isn't really used to sleep routines, which was the most accurate out of ford's and dipper's paranoid and far-fetched theories.

i think bill would be big on “get him back” by olivia rodrigo. he’d scream that shit from the roof of the mystery shack when hes going thru it w ford. the bridge is deeply applicable to him, but mabel with all her media literacy bites her tongue in regards to the fact that the verses are most DEFINITELY more applicable to ford.

mabel would be very up-to-date on all the pop singer breakups lore. she knows who broke up with who and all the reasons, with her own analytical nuanced takes on why specific celeb couples didn’t work out. it’s her fnaf lore, if you will. bill rolls his eyes at this, as he believes that artists these days just aren’t as tortured as they used to be. mabel chastises his (half joking) suggestion to rectify that.

also I think that Mabel should actually be the most distrustful of Bill and be Super Protective of Dipper, meanwhile dipper should be the one to approach bill first out of curiosity.

Even tho Mabel and Stan are the most similar to bill I think they would both try to keep their brothers away from him, both because of their understanding of bill and their guilt over not saving their brothers from him in the past.

Ford and Dipper are still so curious about Bill, despite their trauma. I feel like Ford and Dipper gravitating towards him BECAUSE they were so heavily abused is something that people don’t consider enough.

I love the trope of abusive characters getting abused by their past victims, because while it’s cathartic in a way, it still doesn’t justify what those characters are doing, because abuse isn’t justifiable.

that sort of storyline isn’t one that would redeem Bill, and it might in fact make him worse. But seeing Ford and an older Dipper have a villain arc of sorts is super compelling to me.

Seeing bill in such a broken state would make him sympathetic, not in a way where you want to forgive him, but in a way that makes Ford and Dipper seem all the more corrupt.

Stan and Mabel don’t approve of what their siblings are doing, but turn a blind eye to it bc they don’t know what else to do.
