A dark, pitch-black eight-legged horse with an ashen mane and tail rushed towards us straight from Scandinavian mythology. Odin's faithful steed, son of Loki. Rumor has it that this is the best and fastest horse - and its sculptural embodiment is looking for a home. The sculpture is handmade of air-dry clay, painted with acrylic colors and covered with protective matte varnish. The length of the sculpture is 19 cm (= 7.5 inches). One of a kind. The sculpture is available for adoption on Etsy or via PayPal.

I originally wanted to paint his hooves silver and add some silver runes around his body. And I took these photos so that later I would have photos from the series “before and after painting with a brush.” But… I was fascinated by this black silhouette on a white background, darkness with glimpses of light on the mane and tail. Therefore, I decided not to paint the hooves, just highlight the eyes with color and that’s it.

I went out of my comfort zone a bit and made this little ceramic dinosaur! It’s a sinosauropteryx, one of the few dinosaurs we actually know the color of! I just love their fluffy, red striped tails.
