Once agian, triple j has revealed its Hottest 100 Songs of 2019, as voted by listeners. Though the list is mainly curated by Australian listeners, fans down under have proven themselves impeccable tastemakers year after year and the list has carried considerable weight internationally, as well.

This year, Billie Eilish, 18, has broken two records to become the first woman and the youngest person to win the Triple J Hottest 100 with “bad guy.” In total, she had 5 songs on the countdown.

In the EDM realm, Flume took the highest spot just behind Billie at #2 for “Rushing Back” feat. Vera Blue. He snagged three spots on the countdown, including “Let You Know” feat. London Grammar and “Friends” feat. Reo Cragun.

hey sorry to bother you but what were the ryden predictions from 2015/2016? i wanted to tell a friend about them but i don't remember anything except for the halloween party and i couldn't find it anywhere online.

anyway!!! so my 2015/2016 ryden tracking is v iffy because i made this blog early summer of 2016, but i think i remember almost everything that went down,,, (if anyone else sees this feel free to add on to it)

death of a bachelor came out and literally almost every song had the bandom suspecting ryden undertones and ‘references’ to pretty odd and fever era (my favorite ones are the house of memories, hallelujah, l.a. devotee and golden days lores)

brendon was interviewed here about ryan and ryan gosling and implied he’s pan or wtv and talked about the halloween thing cutE and ya boy says ”it’s like when you break up with somebody, you’re like ‘so… who’re you dating now’” im??

and then lmao he got asked by some reporter about ryan gosling and his head immediately went to ryan and his fucking gremlin costume kill me

so everyone started talking about something called the ryden revival and then!! ryan asked someone on ig for a tshirt and said he’d wear it at coachella

and everyone was hyped bc brendon confirmed he was gonna perform at coachella with halsey, (ofc ryan is a little shit who posted a vid of him at a hockey game with the caption #coachella so i love my boy but i wanted to punch him)

aight then ryan became really active on fb in 2016 (i don’t think it was him though) and he posted this thing on fb

ofc he deleted it asap but everyone saw it freaked out so it became the ryden renaissance

and the last of what i remember is ryan unfollowing brendon on instagram so everyone accepted that as the death of ryden sigh

all i wanted was for my boys to be happy, even just friends would be great but wtv life happens but yeah those were all the ryden!lore i remember from 2016 x hope i helped lmao
