This is Basil, more as an adult than a kid, but it's for personal use so don't mind me <3

our spit-fire's gonna need a girlfriend. I just am struggling to make her, I have a personality and name in mind just not a face.

Since my current character fixation is now set on Akika, I've felt like drawing her being effected by the Red Haze!

I did decided to try something new this time, both being: 1) Insert the entire shade coloration, instead of adding usual shading on parts ( If that makes sense ). I erase parts of the shade to make it seem like there is lighting ( I did add a tiny bit of cell lighting on a different layer to make it pop a little )!

2) To make the Red Haze feel more effective, I have the lineart be colored red qwq. I usually don't add colored lineart that doesn't match the skin / clothing on the character ( Usually it is a darker color line from the main colors. Or just keep it as main black ) qwq. It felt very fitting tbh >w<

( I drew this while in the middle of working the comm piece. This idea of the artwork came to mind when I was listening to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGStHiIbkn0 >w< . The Red Haze is a part of the story and it does get to effect Akika later down the line. So it was perfect to put it in art format finally! ) Ps. I know no one asked but here is a sketch below the undercut :D
