#this is pride to me #flockintogether #art #chart #yesterday we threw a pride celebration for our lil rural yeehaw city #bout half a thousand showed up for the queer fun downtown :)#we had some mom and dad volunteers who were there to be. idk. proud moms and dads basically lol (and to block protesters if any showed up)#the kinda moms/pops that go to college campuses with cheers and hugs for stressed students #i get a lil misty eyed thinkin about the grown ass dudes who use their Good Old Boy status to be affirming and supportive (and protective)#of other ppl in the community #so whatever part of the community u r in. or if you're just a Real Good Ally or w/e #if you are showing up for your people - thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. 1000 thank u's #one of the best parts abt bein on this planet is when we get to enjoy one another's company and lift each other up

ik it was intended primarily for funny show reasons but shassie is just a crazy dichotomy. Guy with commitment issues vs guy who commits too hard. Guy with no dad vs guy with too much dad. Guy with net negative social skills who desperately wants them vs guy with incredible insight into people who hates himself for having it. Guy who’s surly and mean to hide need to be loved vs guy who’s breezy and charming to hide need to be loved

drew hallownest's crown in its prime, before any stray wyrms decided to move in and create some random kingdom :3

surely the moths who built this fine statue would never turn their backs upon the being it represents, causing it to be forgotten and grow spiteful, seeding death and sickness in the interest of revenge!!

...

ANYWAYS, i know it's not super complex, but i'm pretty happy with it. been trying to figure out how to draw rock/stone and clouds in a sketchier/looser style, so here's my attempt at that, if anyone has some tips/tricks for that it'd be super greatly appreciated!! :3

also felt like i'd been drawing a lot of super gloomy dark environments and was kinda stuck in a rut/art blocked, so i wanted to step outside my comfort zone :)

seriously though imagine some beautiful sunny day with multicoloured clouds and sunbeams shining down through the crystal peaks, refracting off crystals and stuff.... i'd love to see that in-game somehow dude
